Being an older couple, they didn't register anywhere, but everyone deserves a shopping experience at C&B. I may have been shopping primarily for them, but I took a little time to shop for myself, too. My flatware is over 25 years old and a couple pieces have gone MIA. So I took a quick look at what they had to offer. I found a set that I really liked and it made me wish I was getting married, so I could register for a complete set of Fusion Satin Flatware. To be honest, I've been shopping for new flatware for a while and what I found at C&B is the best. I'll be honest, I found less expensive at Target and Costco, but I'll pay the price for quality and style. When I'm dining at home, I want the experience to be as if I was dining in a restaurant. No matter what department you're shopping, the staff is always professional, friendly and helpful. I always joke with the staff that I can do more damage shopping alone, than with their help.

If you are looking for kitchen appliances or dishes, lots of decorations, furniture and rugs, there is lots to choose from. They have a great sale section and great holiday decor. I was disappointed to find they no longer had much in the way of food items, I used to pick up fun things in that category and only found holiday chocolates on my last visit. It's a fun place to shop with lots of things on display to give ideas. You can certainly spend money here but there a lot of reasonable options, too.

I like to roam the aisles just looking at everything and getting ideas for crafts I am probably never going to do but its fun even so Today I needed a flower for a new vase I purchased and brought along a wallpaper sample to try and match the flower. I went up and down the aisle and came up with the best color and style. Bonus it was 40% off! The floral stems aren't usually on sale. They had lots of workers there, stocking lots of boxes of Christmas and they had a ton out already. It was fairly busy on Saturday afternoon. I got the flowers, and some Thanksgiving dessert plates.

Mainly, I wanted to put together an autumn bouquet for my floor vase at home. This might be late now being that it's already October but when I visited, they still had a lot of Halloween decor. They had a few summer items in their clearance area but mostly, the store screams autumn, at least upstairs did. Lots of options for the bouquet I had in mind but I settled for a combination of their sale items. I ended up with a decent spread, I think. About the store. It is 2-story, well-kept and fairly organized. It seemed to be all self-checkout though. The employees were standing by the checkout area but turned a blind eye while I was trying to fumble around the scanner to scan my items. I wasn't sure which one paired with the screen I was using. But after some frustrating moments of no help, I figured it out. Aside from the frustrating end to my shopping, it went well. I love that they have sales on basically everything and that the store is organized.

I was in search of fabric shears and some sort of handheld sewing device that would better serve me than the one that I'd purchased from Amazon. This was the first location that I've ever seen with an upstairs. Many of the items were locked into place, and I had to summon a nearby employee for assistance. Eventually, I was able to locate the shears, but I was left with no options to replace my handheld sewing machine. The shear kit that I purchased was reasonably priced and the self-service kiosks for checking out were a convenient touch.

When in St. Louis... skip the Arch and hit HomeGoods! Hehehehe!…read more I came to St. Louis to visit family, but the real attraction wasn't the sights or the food. It was the glowing beacon of joy known as HomeGoods. I walked in with "just a peek" in mind and walked out emotionally torn over a full cart I couldn't possibly fit in my suitcase. I spotted a beautiful vase, a gold glitter decanter, and somehow ended up debating if I could carry a floor plant onto the plane like it was an emotional support item. Sigh! The store was clean, well-organized, and filled with everything I didn't know I desperately needed. I ended up letting my mom buy what she needed as I had no space in my luggage. [Insert crying emoji] As always, I recommend HomeGoods when you need to change things up in your home or having a get together and need conversation peices.
