A very bright spot in that target... plus her hair rocks! Not sure what people have so much problems with when it comes to this Target location. This has been my go-to Target for nearly a whole year now and they have never failed to meet my expectations: 1) have all the items I purchase in-stock 2) fast and no fuss drive-up service 3) minimal wait times for order fulfillment and picking up the order I usually purchase about 16-20 gallons of distilled water weekly. I have mobility issues caused by previous back injuries and also live with early arthritis. Having Target associates assist me with gathering and loading up the gallons of water has been a God send help for me. It literally saves me from the pain caused by moving so many gallons of water from the shelf to the cart and then into my vehicle. I have never waited for more than an hour from the moment I submit the drive-up order to be ready for pickup. I find that phenomenal. I have had instances at other locations where they don't have that many gallons of distilled water available or have it ready for pickup quickly. Sometimes it takes more than half a day or I needed to drive to a very far away store location. I thought THAT was a normal thing. Not so with the La Paz Rd location! They are incredible. I have gotten so totally spoiled by this Target for nearly a year now. The associates that I have come across have been very kind, efficient, and courteous. They are very diligent and maintains professional demeanor even when I have witnessed rude behaviors towards them due to an irate customer. Thanks to the Target app feature of "I'm on my way!" My order comes rolling out as soon as I am basically done parking. It's so fuss free I can't ever get over it!! In sum, I don't ever see myself straying away from this Target because of their consistently great customer service, availability of all my weekly essentials, and fast pickup process. If you're going to this target for anything make sure you check their app if it's in stock because you'll be surprised that it's not here or it's out of stock. The options of what they do have is very limited and often out of stock from experience. You're better off going to the mission Viejo or Irvine target if you need serious target shopping. I've had good / bad interactions with the workers here. Some are super friendly or sometimes they can be really rude. One of my least favorite targets. read more

The target itself great. This review is mostly for the management for allowing one certain patron to be allowed in store. I know this may seem out of the ordinary for my type of reviews. but this target i have been going to for a long time. until recently there has been this gentleman who has a SEVERE hygiene problem that is repulsive and it seems very un food safe. The other customers feel uncomfortable to mention anything. He may be a nice gentleman, but you can smell his odor over all the coffee drinks, and through the entire starbucks lobby. I feel bad for the employees how have to work an entire shift while that gentleman is there. The service here was bad. I am dressed in a tank top and shorts and im targeted by a security worker for half my visit. I felt racially profiled and unsafe. I came here with my daughter and she also felt unsafe. We have been in the car all day for a road trip and we were trying to get he something to drink because she was thirsty. I was very upset they made my child feel unsafe. To other moms out there i dont recomend this store for your loved ones. The value of their items felt spoiled and i can diffenetly tell this place has a certain money demographic that may not be fit for other mothers experiences. Not exactly well bought or merchandised compared to other Targets. No seventh generation, Kitch solid shampoos are hidden far from travel minis, no options for clean travel minis, a massive area for paper towels / TP, Sbux and dollar store junk for impulse buys near returns. The last time I visited I had a severe allergy attack and the time before that I had to leave because the bathroom line was so long. Switching stores at this point. read more

Today 1/2/2026 there was an unbelievably rude female employee with long bright pink hair. I doubt this is a store wide issue but it needs to be called attention to. There was no issue or anything on either end so I am not sure why she was so mean to me but her attitude was appalling and unjustified. When searching the internet as to why Target is so bad, this is what I found: "Complaints about Target customer service include issues with product and delivery problems (such as damaged or missing items and incorrect billing), difficulty with online orders, and in-store experiences related to understaffing and poor employee attitudes. At about 12:30 today, I asked a very simple question to a young woman employee (dark hair, probably in her 20s). It was in the electronics section of the store. She was shockingly rude and condescending. Her attitude was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I like the Target on Oso maybe La Paz, idk I love that Mary & Katreal helped me in a very out of the ordinary way situation. As I was splitting the bill into half cash half Target card, a $20 bill dropped in between the gap at the cash register. Katreal was so so so nice, we couldn't find my $20 bill, I did not want to forget about it, I did not want her to get in trouble so I decided to eat it. Katreal was looking extra hard for it, finally found my $20 bill. Mary was a great supervisor ? Anyway, they made my night. I into a store with eight employees in there and not one person spoke to me said hi they're on their cell phones are doing the argument is due to speak to the customers or do the customer supposed to speak? It is called customer you find yourself always talk first to employee employees that store was so fine and itself for the U scans and one employee it's about personalizing a visit. It's about going outside the way and just saying hi. How are you doing today? They don't greet they don't talk. They don't speak they don't say anything to customers and then they wonder why they don't come back? I have taught so many customer service classes and for some reason major companies like a target still higher quality over quantity. Hire an employee employees that do not speak to customers when they come in. You are not a good manager and you are not a good district manager. It is about service. I don't understand the problem. I don't understand why I even have to leave this kind of message, but someone needs to talk to these employees. Them that you talk to customers when they walked past, you say hi you don't just ignore them and be on your phone. This location lets people's PET dogs in on long leashes! What about people with allergies? It's against the law and store policy to have dogs who aren't service dogs inside. They do not enforce it. Shout out to Customer Relations team member Pardis for helping me what that was impossible to be possible! She is definitely an asset to the Target Team. I had a hard time trying to locate a special LOL doll and a Funko type toy for a few cousins over seas. What was showing not in stock or was unable to locate online she was able to have them check stock in the back and find the one left. It made my entire night ! She single-handedly made 2 kids dreams across the world come true ! For that, I am deeply appreciative and will be writing a letter to corporate about how special this team member is. I haven't stepped inside in Target for 20 years prior to this incident. Because of this positive experience and Pardis showing excellent customer service , price matching what was on target.com vs in store and her compassion in trying to locate these items for me, you have now gained a customer that will start shopping here . I visited this target with my daughter today. She saw a Taylor Swift display with very nice hardback books. She loudley expressed her desire for one of the books. I explained $40 was a bit too expensive. Out of no where, a target employee (with badge and scanner) stated target would like to "gift" her one book. The employee scanned the book and gave it to my daughter. At checkout, I explained the situation to the clerk. The clerk stated this was not a common practice and attempted to find the employee for verification. It was a very awkward 5 minutes. Super frustrated with this location.... I have a 3 day old baby at home and sent my dad to do a drive up order for 3 nursing items. He came home and we opened the bag and they gave the wrong order sooo we go back.... Then the lady says sorry one item is OOS we charged you for. She then walked me through a return on the phone on the app with my dad there...My dad comes home and I go to open and prepare the items for use and we notice it's the wrong size. I try calling guest services 10 times finally get through and talk to a "manger" Dominque. He then says my only option is to come back for a third time to get a refund... and they can't process the refund for yet another error of theirs over the phone.... We have a newborn and 2 toddlers it's not so easy to just keep coming back. Horrible service and lack of empathy. He now said he wrote my number down for guest service manager to call me back but we still would need to come back... such a joke! read more

I went to this target to get Caltrate calcium tablets, I check the target website just before I left home for laguna Niguel store, it had 3 bottles. but when I got there, it has zero! I asked a worker to check for inventory, she said there is none. I talked to the manager, he didn't even apologize for the error, instead he said "now it's Zero, I did it just for you!". How rude! This store is going down hill, only one register with cashier, with many customers waiting. It's totally mismanaged! read more

Very nice staff, I was getting overwhelmed because I needed to return something but I didn't have an ID outside of my passport because I lost my drivers license and passports are not valid for returns. This girl with black hair and an Eastern European accent was super patient and helpful explaining what I could do instead and break down why the passports aren't accepted. Easily could have just said not accepted and left it at that so I appreciate the customer service. Aside from that, pretty good selection as far as Targets go and everything was stocked. read more

you know when you're waiting in line at customer service, watching the interactions unfold; hoping to get the competent cashier? ... came to get a bathing suit before a trip; found the perfect suit but the bottom was only in small & medium would have fit perfectly. the woman at the dressing rooms helped me check to see if they had that size at other stores. no luck, but she informed me i could order it online with free shipping. she checked for the size & even let me know there were other colors available. this took about one minute. she also told me it would arrive by the 25th which was perfect since i was leaving on the 26th. she told me i could pay & order it at customer assistance so i went there & waited in line for less than 15 minutes. i was called & approached, said hello & explained i had just come from the fitting room where i was told i could order the size i was looking for online with free shipping since it wasn't available in the store. the cashier was doing something, i assume scanning & trying to pull up the item to order it. 5 minutes go by, 5 more. i said "if it's available, i'd like to get a different color". no response. then i asked to confirm it would arrive by the 25th & the woman said "maybe, you never know". ok.. im not going to press it, i just want to order/pay & finish the rest of my errands. after about 15 minutes standing there she handed me her phone & asked me to find the item myself.. ok.. looking at her phone it wasn't just bathing suit bottoms, it was tops, cover ups, all kinds of clothing items.. i said "oh im actually looking for this bottom" as i touched the blue swim bottom i had brought up with me initially. "is there any way you can scan the barcode to find the item, that's how the woman at the fitting room was able to tell me it was available online?" she told me her eyes hurt & asked me again to find it on her phone. i kept scrolling & now the photos were just gray squares.. i asked again if she could look it up by the barcode or SKU. she asked me to read her the number on the tag, no problem. i did so & waitied. at this point i was frustrated, it seems like this should have been a quick & simple process? she was still looking at her phone. if her eyes hurt i feel for her, i know what it's like to be working & hurting. but if she felt she couldn't complete her job duties she should let a manager know & take some time. we're all human. this woman was not rude really. she simply couldn't help me, from the moment i approached to the moment i slid to the next cashier after 15+ minutes & the line dissipating; i took my opportunity to slide to the cashier next to her after saying "thank you, perhaps she can look up this item". the first cashier took a step back & walked away after i said thank you, she didn't respond to me. the next cashier pulled up the item within a minute, then proceeded to tell me it wasn't available. i said it actually says "not available in store". she proceeded to continue the ordering process. she handed me her phone to fill out my shipping address & called for the next person in line who stood next to me, explaining their issue as i completed filling in my info. this cashier was quick to switch between me & the other customer & guided me to payment. after paying i asked for a receipt. she informed me it was in my email & she couldn't print me one. i understand that this payment process was technically done online but i politely asked for a paper receipt since i just completed payment using the stores credit card machine. the cashier said "we don't do that, your email receipt is enough". maybe that's standard procedure for this kind of thing but there has to be a way for me to walk away with proof i just paid for something.. when i asked again the cashier said "oh you want me to void it, ok", i said "no, please don't void it, all i want is a receipt for the payment i just completed here with you." she said she could call over a manager. i left, in tears at the main register paying for the rest of my items. it was already a very difficult morning for me & i didn't want to spend any more time in that store. not everyone has their email on their phone. if i paid for something & ask for a receipt it should be provided. read more

Moises at the register today was very kind and helpful at showing me how to properly use the Target app while shopping in order to save money. I'm not a die-hard Target shopper, so I didn't realize you can scan items as you're shopping, save them in the app, then present your unique bar code at the register. He showed me how it works, and I quickly scanned two memory foam pillows with the Target app while he was ringing me up. Turns out they were $7 off apiece. Now I know how it works, and I understand what some people are doing as they scan items while shopping. Also, the fitting room/operator person was very nice as well. She saw me trying to price check a bulky item and she asked me if I needed help as she was walking by. I believe she was in the process of starting her go-backs. I don't really like shopping when I'm tired, especially on a Saturday, but overall it was a good Target run today, with good vibes all around. read more

Pretty huge and cool Target in the same mall where I had sushi earlier. The employees are not very engaging. I was looking for a menorah and candles for Hanukkah and yes, I'm Jewish and there were hugely hideous menorahs on the end cap of aisle 3 B but no candles, well actually one box but a Messianic (???) Jew (and he was actually CUTE) got there 30 seconds before me and grabbed them so I was SOL. I came home and ordered it all on Amazon. Literally the worst store ever. Kept trying to convince me to get target app, told me I would get a discount and then didn't give me one. I had to get through 4 different employees to finally get a refund, whole process took 45 minutes. Overall, I had a very negative experience at this store. I understand that employees need to listen to their supervisors, but it is absolutely ridiculous to promise a discount then not give one. The employees just kept saying that it's not their fault when they were the ones that didn't input the price correctly. Also insane to falsely advertise a discount that is never given. We went to find a lanyard for an 11-year old's GoPro on our way to the beach, where he wanted to take some photographs. He was crestfallen when there were none available, as he couldn't take the GoPro without a lanyard, because of the risk of dropping it. Enter Rodney, who saved the day! We shopped at Target 26932 La Paz Road in Aliso Viejo. The place was nice and clean. We went in to find things we needed for our home. I remembered I needed some printing paper for our computer printer. So I bought the store brand printing paper that had 750 sheets for $5.49 a great buy! Then we went to the pet department and found some pet toys for Paisley & Buddy our children. They were so happy to play with there new toys. Happy cats happy life!
