Jim, the designer, helped me pick out the materials and stayed on top of the project throughout the process. All of the teams did a great job with the demo, plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinets, countertops, shower doors, and finishing work. Katrin coordinated all the teams seamlessly. Eric and Antonio provided great recommendations every step of the way, and their crew was always nice and considerate. The project took a little longer than expected due to a missing cabinet issue, but overall it was a great experience with quality workmanship, fair pricing, and a professional team. I especially love my master bathroom and will definitely use them again for future projects.

You would be better off going to tile mile in Anaheim and contracting people yourself. That's where I found my counter people for the first remodel and they were fantastic and counters lasted almost 20 years. My counters now are barely over a year and all the seams look horrible. They pick cheap labor for all the work and that's exactly what you get, however, that's not what you are paying. They definitely overcharge for what you get.

His pricing is fair, he's incredibly flexible (which I really appreciated since I'm picky about design), and his crew was always clean, and respectful. I had purchased a single quartz slab to use for both the pantry and bathroom counters, and Richard went above and beyond to ensure that not an inch was wasted. In fact, he even surprised us with a cutting board made from the final remnant--such a thoughtful touch that shows how much he cares about delivering value. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen or bathroom. We're so happy with how our pantry turned out--it looks like it belongs on a HGTV design show.

From the moment we…read morewalked through their door, Brandon assisted us with a level of care that made both my husband and I feel like we were a family member. We added on a 200 sq foot master closet room and originally went to G & A to look at carpeting for the new closet. Not only did Brandon spend a lot of time with us on the carpet (which was a small job), he inquired if there was anything else they could assist with. We quickly learned that G & A does not just specialize in flooring, they provide a wide variety of services. In addition to carpeting, we needed painting, stone for countertops and expanded our project to replacing the tile in our laundry room (a long want on my wish list). I got 5 bids for painting and when combining all the above services, Brandon came in with the most competitive pricing. We went with G & A and are so happy that we did. I never felt like he was trying to upsell us and we felt their prices were very fair. In fact, Brandon offered us options with the stone that were more economical than other brands. Brandon was with us every step of the way! When the tile I picked out for the laundry room was discontinued, he found one very similar which I ended up liking better anyways. When they started the laundry room project, while removing the old baseboards, there was an issue with some of the drywall. Brandon quickly stepped in and had one of his guys perform drywall repair right away so as to not stall the project. They removed and reinstalled the washer/dryer as well. They also updated the 20 year old baseboards to match the rest of the house. All of G & A's laborers that worked in our home were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Brandon kept us advised every step of the way. I STRONGLY recommend G & A for any home improvement needs you may have and don't forget, they do way more than flooring! I am attaching some photos of the closet where they laid carpeting and installed quartz, the tile & painting in the laundry room and the painting of the living room/foyer where the new closet was built above.

This company is unprofessional, they charge extra and rip you off every chance they get. The owner/contractor does NO QUALITY CONTROL OF THE WORK. YOU, THE CUSTOMER, ARE THE QUALITY CONTROL PERSON. IT IS UP TO YOU TO NOTOCE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT POOR QUALITY WORK, the contractor will not be visiting your worksite. Example: The back door needed to be refinished 3 times because I FOUND hairs painted in the finish once, It didn't close properly another time and then it had paint drips dried in the paint another time. Example: They installed a CRACKED piece of trim under the mirror, in plain sight, in the bathroom. Example: They tell you how great their tile guy is, I had to complain about several pieces in the kitchen backsplash. One tile completely crooked in plain sight! Others that had a crack or chip on them. Nobody is checking any of the work being done. This poor workmanship is obvious to anyone. I requested a different Project Manager and the owner told me they only have one. I regret hiring this company and paying these people over $200k for all the headaches and stress! I'd give them a negative rating if possible.

The team was quick, incredibly clean, and very patient, taking the time to answer questions and make sure everything was done exactly right. Most importantly, they delivered on time and on budget, which is rare and deeply appreciated with home remodeling projects. The quality of the work really stood out. The tile work was beautiful and precise, the custom cabinetry was well-made and elegant, and the sink and countertop choices were lovely and high quality. Every worker who came into our home was professional, skilled, and clearly top-level at what they do. They were also exceptionally clean and respectful of our home. Floors were fully protected with paper and coverings throughout the project, and they cleaned up thoroughly every single day. All-in, the cost for tile, custom cabinet, countertop, and labor was $15,000, which we felt was a great value for the level of craftsmanship, materials, and service we received.
