With that said, I reserved a box for Yonutz and went to pick it up. The staff member working in the morning was very friendly and the pick up was very easy. The place was clean and bright and PINK haha it was very welcoming. My morning started off pleasantly! To my surprise the box had a good amount of donuts and they were all in GREAT condition! I appreciated that whoever packed the surplus donuts didn't just shove them into the box so they all kept their shape together and was presentable. Walking in, I was a bit confused because there are multiple sections to get food from. When you walk in, it's agua frescas, hot food, more savory items, and the "grocery" section of the store. You can bypass this to get to the paletas. If you keep going around the corner, where the inside seating is, you will get to the ice cream section. The ice cream section is HUGE with a large variety of flavors, including a lot of dairy free sorbet flavors. The person helping us was friendly and worked pretty fast to get our order ready. This quaint and appealing gelato spot is manned by two sweet young ladies. I ordered a scoop of the pistachio gelato which had a generous helping of nuts. The scoop was chewy due to the quantity of nuts. The creamy consistency was nice but the flavor lacked a real intensity. I had to HOOVER the scoop due to the sweltering heat. My gelato was quickly becoming a liquid treat. BellaLinda Gelato has a captive crowd at Lake Las Vegas. The gelato was decent and packed with a huge quantity of pistachios. My main concern has to do with the odor that radiated from the shops around the water. It is a result of the drainage of the complex not each indivdual shop. The complex management needs to address this as it is NOT a positive for these businesses.
