Mean Burger is on a strip mall, very unassuming storefront. We walked in around 1:30 pm so it was after lunch on Sunday. First thing I noticed was the restaurant is very clean. You order at the counter and the Undertaker (WWE) takes your order. Extremely nice and kinda funny guy, never thought the Undertaker would be so nice! Fairly simple menu. I got the Bacon Cheese Burger, my wife got the Blue Cheese Burger and our son the Cheeseburger with egg. Got reg fries and Cajun fries. Undertaker rolls around and asked if we wanted some water, since we didn't order drinks. A very nice and hospitable gesture. Right after that he brought the two baskets of fries and then shortly after the burgers came out. We all took a look and said, these burgers are massive! Piping hot, so we had to let them cool down. I took one bite, and said, My God this is one amazing burger!! Perfectly cooked! Not sure what kind of beef they use but wow!! Unbelievably tasty!! He came around asked if everything was ok, and let us know the buns are homemade, he really didn't have to say it because we knew right away... good buns make for a better burger! We all wiped our burger baskets clean. We are extremely satisfied with our decision to try Mean Burger. Not sure if we'll ever go back since we live out of state. I'm sure if I visit Humble I will dine there again. If you live in Humble Texas ..I would HIGHLY recommend you give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!!

Ordered a side of roast beef NO bun was asked did I want a gluten free bun and I said NO. A side of mashed potatoes "NO GRAVY I'm allergic" I said my next order is for my husband and he doesn't require gluten free so I would like a roast beef MEAL with green beans and mashed potatoes. She said we are "out of green beans" So I said make it double mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side. I would also like a mixer with caramel she said you get one more topping so I told her marshmallow cream. All to go! When the manager brought it to the table where I was waiting it was ALL wrong. Mine was roast beef with gluten free bun which cost extra with a side of mashed potatoes WITH GLUTEN GRAVY that I made clear I can't have. My husband's came out as a side of roast beef (not the dinner I ordered)and one order of mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. My mixer barely had any caramel on the cup so I stirred it all the way to the bottom, and there was literally no caramel in the mixer. Not sure about the marshmallow cream. When I took it to the counter asked specifically to speak to a manager he turned around and he said he was the manager and I said somethings wrong with my order. He turned to another guy pointed and walked away. The younger guy asked "what's the problem" not how can I help you- I said the ticket is all wrong and so is the order as I unloaded it onto the counter to show him he said "well the ticket-says (blah blah blah)" as he starts to read it out loud I stopped him and POLITELY said I don't give a shit what the ticket says it's wrong. He responded don't come at me cussing. I said I didn't come at you and I said and I will repeat I don't give a shit what that ticket says the order is by no means what I ordered and she (girl who took order) was asking for help how to remove bun from order at time of order (obviously the help didn't know how to help her) The guy said I'll have them make a plate dinner like you ordered. I pointed out my mixer and he grabbed it and came back with it as a liquid (like milk) substance. I asked what is this and he said he would fix it. He did bring me another one only this time he put zero caramel and zero marshmallow crème. I basically got a vanilla shake. When I got home I handed my husband the food and when he pulled out the gravy and opened it he asked what is this (see video). It was like water. The whole reason for getting food there as opposed to cooking -he was at home sick while I was at my oncology appointment all day. He got dressed and took the gravy's back to show the manager and asked all the employees watching if they would eat that. Manager said no. Then why are you serving it to me or letting it leave looking that abnormal. He also inquired about running out of beans so early in the day since I was told they didn't have any. He was told it wasn't that they didn't have any they no longer offer them. Horrible experience all around. So as I sit writing this all I can think is what happened and how sad that I simply wanted what I ordered and now I have a vanilla custard in the freezer next to vanilla ice cream I can't have. Thanks Culver's Couldn't even get the mixer right! Oh and just an FYI to Mr Nevermann, if you watch camera you will see the lady beside bring her bag in missing the french fries she ordered!! What's up at this location Culver's??
