Stopped by Kai Zabb for a quick lunch. Very generous portions - one order can easily feed two…read morepeople. We ordered the Kai Prao and the Kai Zabb (their specialty). The fried chicken was cooked to perfection - flavorful, light and filling. The sauces were so good! We got medium spice level, which was pretty good but I think I'll try one level up (spicy) next time for more of a kick. If you're a spice lover I'd recommend that. I preferred the Kai Prao because of the diverse flavor profile and the addition of bell peppers for some crunch. Yum! All orders are served with a side of white rice and their house salad. A hearty, filling and affordable meal to satisfy your next Asian fried chicken craving.

They said it would be about 20 minutes for food since they were slammed, but I appreciate knowing it was made to order, so no problems there. Tried the Kaeng Panaeng and it was good overall. Huge portion size but wasn't quite what I was expecting. Salad was pretty standard but I'm glad they kept it separate so it wouldn't wilt from the heat. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. All in all, I think its a great new place to try out, but if you've had thai fried chicken before, just temper your expectations.

Kai Zabb - Such a cool area to eat! It was much cooler under this covered area (which is also under some tree coverage).

If a walking talking donut existed, you likely would not find it at Gourdough's food trailer…read more However, they do have some mutant large and incredibly creative sweet and savory donuts. The hubs and I decided to split the Big Elvis donut with house made peanut butter icing, fresh grilled bananas, grilled bacon and honey). What is not to like about this combination of ingredients? This savory donut's base was Gourdough's (play on words) signature sourdough donut and then layered with each of the ingredients. The layering of ingredients and flavors created a 5-alarm palate explosion. The donut was delicious...better and better with each bite. Wow, wow, wow! Crunch...flavor...smokiness...crunch...flavor...smokiness! We have not had a donut quite like this one. Maria, our donut chef, boldly told us that it was going to be best donut we had ever eaten. Such a bold claim...however, Maria came with "receipts". Total donut nirvana... Gourdough's is in a food truck park with ample seating outside and a few of cushioned love seats. Superb experience...

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

Most of the flavor is on the outside though and because the chicken is so juicy and big the crust falls off. The chicken sand which is HUGE. There is so much meat and the ratio seems really off. The bread gets really soggy fast but the coleslaw and pickles are a nice addition. The flavors are really solid. The medium is the perfect spice for me. The tenders are okay, since I got mild it wasn't really flavorful and the dang sauce isn't very flavorful either. Food was made to order because it was HOT. The brewery area is very cute and fun but the parking situation is not great.

The chicken sandwich was a behemoth of a sandwich. I could barely bite it, but worth the $15! The bun was extremely soft, but the ratio of chicken to bun was a little off. Their pickles are sweet which is ideal with that level of heat. I got the hot which was perfect for me. The fries are amazing tbh, even after sitting in the fridge, they had a great flavor and texture somehow. I wish they put more sauce which is probably my personal preference haha It was a good meal overall, but not my favorite fried chicken spot. The burger with curry sauce WAS SO GOOOOD!! If i came back, I would get that. Smash burger patty with a pillowy bun - delish!
