Stop in here because our car was getting new shoes on it from the tire shop in front of the place Walked in and sat right down ordered chips and salsa like we always do. Fresh chips snap salsa Ordered tacos asada and my wife ordered burritos and shrimp tostada and all of it was delicious Definitely slipped on this place because it's tucked behind other stores Go by and check it out Family owned so live that

We loved the food here! Tacos, nachos, Al pastor burrito, fajitas, and guacamole were all great! The staff were exceptionally friendly with great service. It's a little tucked away in a shopping mall, so don't miss it. So yummy!

Having had Taqueria Corona bookmarked for longer than I can remember (literally, I don't know when I bookmarked it) I finally ventured in for a quick lunch with a coworker this past week. PROs: ++ The street tacos look amazing! Though I can't vouch for the taste because both myself and fellow diner opted for smothered burritos. ++ Prices are super cheap! Lunch for two came out to about $25 NICE! CONs: -- When we arrived there was no signage telling us to grab a seat and no server to direct us, we stood near the door for easily 3 to 5 minutes before anyone came to help us. I started getting nervous that they were closed. -- I chose carnitas for my burrito and it was incredibly bland. -- I love a green chile smothered burrito! Unfortunately the green chile that was poured over this particular burrito tasted like vinegar. I'm not sure if that was how it was supposed to taste or if the chile was bad... But it was pretty unsettling to say the least. While I was excited to give Taqueria Corona a try - I can't say I'm in a hurry to make my way back.

No cheddar cheese here! Taqueria Corona is in the top ten places in the denver-Aurora metro area for authentic tacos and definitely the best in this area. The restaurant is low key but the service is fast, the prices are good, and the food is delicious. This has become our go to place for tacos. Even their delivery (via door dash) is good. The tostada de ceviche is probably the highlight of what we've had but we also enjoy the tacos de carne asada, al pastor, adobada, and carnitas. The horchata and flan hit right too. Give them a try!

One of my FAVE TACO SPOT! So many options for good eats On Havana Street but this little shopping center taqueria never disappoints. It's my go to for a few reasons: 1.Friendly and nice staff! 2. The delicious tacos bring me back! 3. Plus that horchata! I love that it doesn't taste like artificial cinnamon. It's a cleaner and fresher taste! Legit horchata! 4. I'm always in and Out & back to work, quick service! Give it a try the next time your near HAVANA.

I got three different tacos and still don't know which one was which.....

Oh my, what am I missing about this place?? Almost five stars on Yelp? Maybe negative five stars....maybe. We had friends in from Texas and one of them wanted tacos. I thought "Hey, let's go to a hole in the wall joint with authentic Mexican food, it will be fun" and picked this place based on the reviews. SO NASTY! We were so hungry so we ordered tortilla chips to start with. They don't have salsa, just hot sauce and the chips were either stale or burnt. But we ate it because we were so hungry. We ordered a bunch of stuff.....burritos, enchiladas and street tacos. I ordered thee different kinds of street tacos and I still couldn't tell you what was what. One of the guys found a hair in his burrito and that killed the mood. The walk to the bathroom was sketchy, I swear it reminded me of a scene in American Horror Story and the bathroom was rank. Service sucked and the guy taking our order didn't seem to know what was going on or want to be there. It was all just so weird. You do NOT want to com here if you have taste buds or standards.

Food at this place is exceptional. It tastes homemade. It's different from the typical Mexican eateries that are forced to adapt the food to a more "american" culture. I've visited the place in different instances. First, I came in led by the great Yelp reviews. So I had to see it by myself. Portions of food are good but not oversized like many other places. But flavors are on point. Spices are well combined and the food is made to order. I've tried the tacos, $1.50 a piece. A great deal. Super delicious. Also the carne asada tastes amazing, the menudo and the chiles rellenos. Those flavors really remind me of the great homemade cooks from my childhood. You can really enjoy a great meal, treat yourself to different items and when the check comes in, you should not worry at all, The prices are very affordable. The place is very clean and everyone is very friendly. It's a hiden gem, because is next to a v[out orders. ery busy asian restaurant, Katsu. However, as you're dining, you'll see many customers coming in to pick up their take out orders. I've read some other reviews, and yes, this place is not a luxury one, hoever the place is extremely decent, you're treated with courtesy and the staff is very helpful. Before being negative, please visit them and discover the joy of homemade Mexican food. I give it 5 stars, no hesitation.

The chips & salsa but, specifically the cabbage salsa, are enjoyable staples. The tortilla soup is also a must have. Sometimes, I just grab the soup plus chips & salsa. I like the soup because it's hearty and full of fresh ingredients. This time we enjoyed tostadas, street tacos, & green chile stew along with the standard refried beans & Spanish rice. And we didn't forget the alcoholic libations, rounding it out with margaritas and Corona. There are no complaints here. The food is always on point. The restaurant itself is always clean, welcoming, & prepared for a good time. The staff are always friendly & attentive. I also enjoy the entertainment playing in the screens & the nights with the mariachi. They are available on the food delivery app, too.

It's served with guacamole, pico de gallo, beans, and rice. I'm not a big fan of beans, so I usually ask for extra rice instead. The staff is quick and very friendly, and the menu has plenty of great options to choose from.

A lot of places popped up, but this Mexican restaurant really stood out -- great reviews and the food pictures looked amazing. It's about 13 minutes from the airport, which made it super convenient. From the outside, it looks small, but once you walk in, it's surprisingly spacious. We were seated immediately, and our server was absolutely phenomenal -- so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. For an appetizer, we ordered the queso fundido with chorizo (you can choose corn or flour tortillas). This is one of my favorite dishes to get at any Mexican restaurant if they offer it, and this one did not disappoint. The cheese was perfectly melty and stretchy, and the chorizo had great flavor that paired so well with it. Wrapping that cheesy, savory goodness in a warm tortilla? So good. For my main dish, I ordered the quesabirria -- corn tortillas filled with birria and cheese, fried crispy, and served with consommé for dipping. It was decent, but I will say it didn't have quite as much flavor as I'm used to with quesabirria. Still enjoyable, just could've used a bit more seasoning. The beans were actually delicious and full of flavor, but the rice was a little bland and could've used some salt. Overall, the service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and even though it was busy, everything came out in a timely manner. The prices were also very reasonable -- definitely not expensive for the quality and portions. I would absolutely come back to try other dishes. With just a little more seasoning in some areas, it would easily be a five-star spot for me!

Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. We were told our total was $32, but when I paid with a card, the final charge came to $34.93. When I asked why the amount was different, I was told it was because I paid with a card. I understand that taxes and fees may apply, but customers should be told the full amount before being charged. What bothered me the most was the attitude. When I politely asked for clarification, the person cooking responded in a rude and arrogant way, saying, "You know that in the United States you have to pay sales tax." I wasn't questioning whether sales tax exists, I was simply asking why the amount I was quoted was different from the amount I was charged. I also noticed that my receipt showed a Denver sales tax rate of 9.15%, even though the food truck was located in Aurora on Hampden, which added to the confusion. The food is excellent, but the customer service and lack of clear communication left a negative impression. I would return for the food, but I hope they work on treating customers with more respect and explaining charges more clearly.
