Their queso fundido was prepared differently from anything I've had elsewhere, to include sautéed onions and pepper, but I'm now a fan of El Patio's presentation. The only negative was that it was served with no flour tortillas, we had to ask for them separately. Any good queso fundido is served with warm flour tortillas. So do yourself a favor and order the queso fundido and ask for the tortillas to eat it with. All of the other dishes ordered by everyone in our party of five was delicious and fresh, from the beef street tacos, to the pollo San Jose, to their chili verde, all wonderful. I already know this will be a family tradition every time we come back to visit.

We waited approximately five minutes before a server took our drink order and another five minutes before receiving our drinks. It then took roughly 20 additional minutes for our food order to be taken. Unfortunately, the delays continued. After waiting about an hour for our meals, we observed our food being delivered to the wrong table. The staff then retrieved the food and later brought it to us from a different kitchen entrance, which raised concerns about whether the food had been handled properly. When the meals finally arrived, everyone in our party was served except me. My meal arrived about five minutes later, which normally would not have been an issue if it had been freshly prepared. However, my food was completely cold. The plate, rice, and enchiladas were all cold to the touch. In fact, my father's partially eaten enchiladas were warmer than the meal I received. To make matters worse, after finishing our meal, we waited an extended period for our check. We eventually had to ask an employee how to pay, only to be told that payment was handled at the front desk. This information was never communicated to us beforehand. It was also surprising that orders were being recorded in a notebook rather than through a more organized system. Overall, the service was extremely slow, communication was poor, and the quality of the food did not justify the lengthy wait. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

The rest of us waited another 10-15 minutes before the remaining food arrived. By that point, some of our group had nearly finished eating while others were just receiving their meals. The service was disorganized, the wait times were excessive, and the food was mediocre at best. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.
