    Stale chips.
    Doug W.

Those enchiladas were bomb The rice n beans too Sure the chips were a little stale but the food was great and moderately price. I'll definitely be back It seems people either love or hate it but any time I go in and people are ordering in Spanish I'm happy to be there. Go get your Tex-mex crap and stfu about the damn temperature of the restaurant my god- petty much? Haha. Learn to love yourselves and you'll probably enjoy everything a bit more in life. All in all, The place is worth checking out to decide do yourself. It's affordable and delicious as far as I can tell.

    Tamales!!

Tacos! In Riverhead? Yess... Main st Riverhead has seen a revitalization over the years, I'm glad to see Taqueria Cielito Lindo bringing the best tacos I had in a while to the east end. Very close to the Aquarium and Tanger Outlets, this is a nice place where you can bring your family for a good meal. The menus are easy to read, the food is fresh, the chips are warm and they have Jarritos soda. I like the grapefruit flavor :) My wife & I walk into a quite restaurant. We're on a taco mission for lunch but something is on the menu that we rarely see, tamales. Picture a corn husk, they stuff it with meats, cheese and corn meal to give you a tasty treat. We order two tamales as well as four tacos. I order a Chorizo & Al Pastor. I find Al Pastor interesting, Lebanese folks who immigrated to Mexico started morphing their heritage into Mexican cusine. Their creation of the Mexican taco al pastor is derived from Middle Eastern shawarma. Well, I don't care who invented Spaghetti. I just know it tastes good in my mothers kitchen. The same with the Al Pastor tacos being served at Taqueria Cielito Lindo. Some pretty legit tacos was served to my wife & I. The tamales, we unwrapped the corn husks and it was a little too mushy for my taste. Not saying it was bad, its something not to cause panic from this non hispanic. Great job Taqueria Cielito Lindo on the authentic tacos. I loved the chips brought to our table with two sauce selections, mild & wild. My wife thought the green, mild sauce still had heat. I enjoyed both of them. Parking is easy, theres a large lot behind the row of restaurants. Find this place, cheers!

    Hair in my soup :(

Food is always good my favorite is tostadas de tinga !! Workers are really friendly :) overall 10/10

I've eaten here a few times. It is very consistent! I just ate the enchilada verdes with rice, beans, and salad and it was scrumptious!

The food runs from the merely good to the slap-yo-madre. The tacos al pastor are merely good, but the guacamole is excellent, as are the chorizo tacos and the tacos dorados, and then the mole poblano--WHAP, "Hijo, porque me pegas así?" It's homemade liquid brown magic with just a tiny hint of clove that sets it apart from every other mole I've ever had, and I'm talking about dozens. Served with hot corn tortillas, pure paraíso. Nice licuados, too.

I told her I found a taco place that looks pretty awesome out east. Lets do some shopping at Tanger and then I'll let you buy me a few tacos. Deal? Happy Mothers Day! Taqueria Mexico is very close to the Riverhead Aquarium. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican Taco restaurant, look no further. It's located in a strip-shopping mall, my GPS found it with no problems. Walking inside the restaurant, its not very fancy. The whiteboard is a little hard to decipher and the friendly woman behind the counter will provide a menu which is more english friendly. The menu is extensive, we're here for lunch so platters might be overkill. I want 3 tacos along with some Guac and chips. My wife orders three tacos as well. She asked if there are fish or shrimp tacos, the woman shakes her head no. I know what I want: Chorizo Taco Al Pastor Taco Beef Tongue Taco The chips come out and they're a little onion heavy. I am in the zone, wife? Not having it, she pushes the onions to the side and doesn't eat the Guac.. The tacos are brought to the table by the cutest little woman. I asked which plate has the chicken? She said something in Spanish and put them in front of us. I didn't have my glasses but I see the Chorizo Taco so I take that plate. My wife is in the zone, I am loving the Chorizo Taco! Packed with great tasting Chorizo, I'm a total fan at this point. My wife got the Tongue Taco by mistake so I'm told to knock off a star. All in all, a nice place to grab an authentic taco or Mexican dish. PS - Cold Jarritos are in the ice box, my favorite is grapefruit

We came in for an early afternoon bite, between lunch and dinnertime and as expected, it wasn't crowded and lively music was playing. There were around 3 tables occupied, and a good amount of people at the bar. We had never been here before, and we couldn't decide what we wanted, but we were hungry so we chose something substantial from the menu. Ended up having the Mixed Tray with some Modelo. Holy crap, it was huge. It had grilled steak (the menu said roast beef, but it was what I expected), chicken, chicharron, shrimp, chorizo, and fried yucca. Everything was delicious and we ate as much as we could, but had to bring home more than half of it. We would definitely go back.

How are "employees" much less the rest of us supposed to wash anything off of your hands ....think about it. I told the bartender I would pay cash for my drink(s) due to paying for my food with a corporate card. First margarita...$17, no bill. Second drink vodka soda....$17, no bill. I asked her about the charge, she said "oh that was a double" I didn't order a double, and as an ex bartender, that wasn't a double. So, as someone that remembers all the tricks, she's not only ripping me off, she's ripping off the business, because she isn't ringing up doubles on the register. Oh, and for my work, I carry a pocket knife. They have a security guard there. It's 6pm....what kind of establishment am I in? He politely came over and said that he had to keep the knife until I decided to leave. LOL ..no sir. I'm out and never coming back. Customer beware.
