Friday night in Hampton Bays begs for spicy Tex Mex / South American fare. Calm easy going vibe with authentic non commercial recipes. Not afraid to use various chili's to spice up their dishes. Fun Mexican music not too loud in the background. Trucks swishing by on. Montauk Hwy but quiet and nice warm lighting inside . Careful getting in and out of your car. Swoosh. Lol It was this or the place that replaced Orlando's This looked better. Welcoming and accommodating. They even split the enchiladas on two plates with two different sauces. Mole and the spicy one. Burritos more South American in style. As they had less or no tomato and more of a mild flavor.

I just took a chance on this place last week since being new to the area and omg...this has to be one of the best Mexican food spots in the whole island. 100% and I'm from out west. I've been here several times in just the past week and have tried their burritos, tacos, and this one in the photo is their 3 Piece Mixed Los Tacos ! They give such big proportions in anything you get it's SO worth the price I share it with my bf!

Rating the food alone. NYC quality here. The mole enchiladas were excellent. A real hefty dish for the $16. The mole sauce was nuanced between the herbs that go into it and you can taste the actual chocolate in it too. The chicken inside was nice and soft. Chile relleno was delicious as well. Nice guac and home-made-like refried beans also. The chips were tasty and their red salsa real fresh. Horchata was refreshing and yummy. Prices are reasonable. Inside is not too big. Hope to be a regular for take outs. Bring some Spanish with you.

Great food and service. Authentic Mexican cuisine, not fake crap. They have spicy and non spicy options and is very clean.

Food is excellent, service is spotty but totally fine for a reasonably priced solid Mexican joint. The carnitas burrito is dynamite.

Worst pretend Mexican food ever. No flavor, nothing. Total rip-off. Like eating a paper towel.

5/5. Great tacos. Great prices. Surprised this has only 4 stars. It looks old and dingy but it's authentic and anchors are great!

Had a delicious shrimp quesadilla, Caesar salad, and sangria sitting at the bar on a Friday night. Great local spot with good service.

Phenomenal! We were…read morestarving when we stumbled on this little corner Mexican eatery. The menu is on the TVs in Spanish & in English. Super nice touch if you want to practice a little español. We ordered chips & quac to start. There was an abundance of chips and the quac is made with lime so it's nice and zesty. They offered a hot sauce and a salsa verde in the little cups & they complimented the food nicely. Watch out for the hot sauce-- it's SPICY. I almost lost my taste buds before the food came bc it was so good. I had a shrimp burrito that was massive! I ended up fishing the shrimps out with a fork towards the end; I couldn't muscle it but I also couldn't stop eating. It came with a side of more chips. My husband had a chicken quesadilla & taco combo that came with refried beans topped with cheese, rice & a salad. Super filling & delicious! I dipped the chips in the beans and loved it. As we ate the phone rang off the hook. They probably do insane take out since it's a little place with only about 6 tables. It was reassuring that the food is super fresh! Deff a solid option out here where places don't seem to open until 12pm.

When you're the only Caucasian there, you know you're in the right place. Kind staff, food delivered by the guy who prepared it. Word of warning...it's cash only, and the space is limited.
