Service, location and yummy treats while enjoying a relaxing vibe is what you will find! And these cupcakes!!!!

    Adorable coffee bar!

Second time driving through Ely this year, second time stopping here! It's seriously the cutest little coffee shop - but they offer WAY more than your standard espresso & coffee fare. They've got tea, smoothies, ice cream, milkshakes, and boba tea drinks, not to mention a wide variety of snacks, health supplements, gift items, and CBD products. Plenty of cozy tables to sit at and catch up with friends or sit back and relax on your travels. Will surely be back!

Hazelnut caramel blended drink. Love in a cup!!!!

This place was an awesome find while driving through the middle of nowhere Nevada! We both had the hazelnut caramel drinks (my partner had a hot one and I had a blended one) and they were DELISH! Place had a cool vibe and the staff was friendly. Drinks were out quickly and we were happily on our way. Totally worth the detour from the main road! If you find a Buffalo Bills hat, we sadly won't be back for it.

Slow service but great coffee. We were just in for a quick grab and go before we hit the road.

It's convenient, breakfast is included with your room, and it's really no different than any other Denny's anywhere. We went on two consecutive mornings when we visited Ely and although the service was a little slow during the breakfast the food was well prepared, presented and the server was very courteous. The food was exactly as expected, and I can't imagine how breakfast could be much better than this anywhere else in town. It was certainly several levels above any chain hotel buffet of heated up, pre-prepared foods. Tip - when staying for the free breakfast take the option of applying five dollars off of any menu item instead of the free breakfast. It's pretty skimpy. We paid about $25 for a very nice breakfast this way. Give it a try, especially if you're staying in the hotel. There aren't a lot of other options in Ely.

There was plenty of tables and service as good as we were rather early. We ordered the Wild Alaska Salmon and Salmon Salad Your Way. The food was very good and filling. Knocked off a star because the waitress said we could select two sides for the Wild Alaska Salmon, but not once mentioning there was extra cost; I would have liked a heads up and not be surprised when I pay the bill.

Review # 20 for 2025…read more For a cafe in the middle of nowhere at a National Park, this place was great and very reasonably priced!! It was a very pleasant surprise. We got to Great Basin early in the morning to try and get stand by tickets for the observatory tour and so we did not have time to get breakfast in the morning. We also had a cave tour that morning right after signing up for tickets. We did bring some food, but lunch meats type of lunch and I wanted to get some hot food for my baby boy as it was cold and raining on/off that day. They are open from 8am-5pm everyday. There was a good variety of food. I ended up getting the loaded breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were a bit overcooked but overall it tasted good. My baby sure loved it! It was topped with cheese and bacon and costs around $10. I also got an iced mocha and cold brew for the hubby. My husband liked his cold brew, I like my mocha a bit less sweet but it did the job for me. It does get really busy so expect a wait if it's busy as there is one person in the front and one in the back making the food. The lady taking my order was very nice and helpful. There are a handful of tables inside, as well as a handful of tables outside. There are also some park picnic tables if you walk around behind the building a bit. Would I come back here? If I was at Great Basin again I totally would! Other items I saw people ordered looked really good too!! The prices are very fair and I would definitely get some hot food here and not pack so much food next time around. I really wanted to try the chili!

We tried the soup, curry vegetable red lentil, and the chili. Both were exceptional. The soup was well balanced and flavorful. The chili was chock full of smoked beef, well seasoned, tasted great with cheese and onions. We ate too fast for photos It was so good there was no question where we'd eat lunch on a second day. This time part of the group had the braut special. Apparently, made in Delta, UT, this braut was something else. Again, ate too fast for photos. It was topped with a dill slaw, a mild bbq sauce, and accompanied by fries. The caliber of the food was a surprise. The service was quick and friendly. If you're visiting Great Basin Nat'l Park, look no further for your lunch needs. This cafe won't disappoint.

Five stars for just existing in such a remote location. My server suggested that they had a prime rib dinner special that evening and I couldn't resist trying it. The food wasn't over the top in flavor and quality but was solid, flavorful and an unexpected treat. The prickly pear margarita wasn't my favorite but was certainly refreshing. I just like a little more tart taste in my cup o' tequila. The international crowd seemed to enjoy the outdoor dining ambiance while I, being solo, hung out and ate at the bar. The staff were friendly, maybe a little inefficient in their efforts, but all were helpful given time. I felt a little bad for the owner-chef, who seemed to be herding cats at times. Overall, I'm really glad I had dinner here in Baker rather than waiting to eat in Ely where I spent the night. I wish the owners and staff success and will be back when I'm in the area.

The servers were next-level friendly and prompt despite the dinner rush, they have some fun art, and it's a peaceful place. I really loved the green beans, and another favorite item was the apricot sorbet. They make a ton of items, which is very cool. I only wish they had a few more dairy-free items (especially for breakfast), but what they do offer is far better than expected for this remote location- it would stand up in any metro area. My husband raved about the root beer float, pasta, and pizza. Dinner is sit-down and if you go for breakfast or lunch, it's counter service. They have an extremely well-stocked bar- we didn't partake, but many around us did, and drinks looked excellent.
