The burger was good and was served on a plain hamburger bun. I added American cheese for a dollar more. The pulled pork sandwich wasn't really served on a toasted Kaiser roll, it was on an untoasted plain hamburger bun. It came with fries, pickles, and coleslaw. The fries can use some work. They were quite average. The pork was delicious and piled high. It was drenched in barbecue sauce and was very tasty. The Pub is very clean and a server takes your order and brings everything to you. This was nice. At the bar next door you have to wait in line at the bar to order food, drinks, a refill, or close out your bill. Lots of waiting in line on a busy night, but not at The Pub. Drinks at The Pub are not too overly priced. They do have a happy hour which saves some cash. There is usually live music or drag shows at The Pub which can be fun. It can also get very loud. The menu is large and prices vary but the daily specials are economical.

Shortly after arriving, I was approached by a short Latin man who repeatedly pressured me to follow him to a private room. I clearly declined and told him I was not interested. Although he initially left me alone, he returned and continued insisting that I go with him. Eventually, I agreed to follow him, but at no point did he explain the pricing, fees, or how the private-room services worked. After the interaction was over, I was suddenly asked to pay a large amount of money without any clear explanation of the charges. Had the costs been disclosed upfront, I would have made a different decision. What bothered me most was the lack of transparency and the pressure tactics used throughout the experience. When I questioned the charges, the atmosphere became uncomfortable and hostile. I felt misled by the information I was given and left feeling taken advantage of. Based on my experience, I found the environment to be predatory and focused on getting customers into situations where they may not fully understand the costs involved. I felt robbed of the opportunity to make an informed decision, and I would not recommend this establishment to others. If you choose to visit, make sure you get a complete explanation of all pricing and fees before agreeing to anything.

Some other reviews have mentioned unfriendly staff = 100% not true ! The staff are all truly sweethearts, but necessarily strict with rulebreakers. So consider the sources. No cell phones for your security and privacy, break that rule gets you evicted and banned for life. Any violence or roughness, ditto. Post Covid it is only open 5 nights a week, and unlike bathhouses only 7 or 8 hours a night, depending on which day of the week. It is not 24/7. They do have showers, bring your own towel.
