There may not be a lot of nightclubs in Broward that have valet parking with pool tables, a drag queen show, cheap drinks, and country line dancing with free lessons, but there's at least one! Even with everything I just described going on, Scandals has a neighbor bar kind of feel, where the bartenders know your name remember your drink order. Front bar by the door yes they have the fastest bartender (not necessarily the best one) if you stand in the right spot if not they ignore you for half an hour. Just go to the bar in the back to the right, the bartender is super hot, knows what he is doing and is very cordial and pays attention to everyone at his bar. I was very happy with his service. Came by this local watering hole on Sunday but couldn't find parking due to the limited parking available and didn't appear that there was any street parking nearby (visiting the area) so decided to stop in yesterday evening as it wasn't as crowded during a weeknight. Bartender was very attentive and served us in a flash! They have a great outdoor patio at the back and it's filled to bursting on Sundays in the late afternoon. Most of the rest of the time it's quieter when I go. The previous manager has recently gone to The Well I think so they are now making changes to what events they have. Let's see how it goes. They have suffered with having to move events from the patio indoors I believe due to noise complaints in the couple of years. As patrons who frequent Scandals quite often we have never run into an issue here, but today we were met with extreme unprofessionalism. The bartender was a total jerk and insulted us right off the bat before our first drink of the day. At first, we assumed it was humor but as it continued for more than 10 minutes, we realized he was simply being rude. He should be let go. We paid the tab and left quickly with no tip. Ive been to scandals many times and the bartenders were always great. His behavior was inexcusable and reflects poorly on your otherwise fine establishment. I hope you guys will be able to redeem yourselves in the future but I cant and wont recommend Scandals anytime soon. This was Tuesday at opening Jan 16th. read more

Have been going here off and on for three years. We went on Sunday early, around 3 pm, to get a table on the patio. While I was getting drinks my husband was told that the table was reserved, it did not have a reserved sign, and apparently is reserved every Sunday. We pointed out that there was not a reserved sign and in our long history of drinking that we'd not seen reserved seating on a bar patio. We were told we'd have to move. So, we finished our drinks and went to DRYNK where we are always welcome and our business is appreciated. Won't go back. PS DRYNK has the hottest bartenders. read more

I loved this place before it closed but have to say it's way better now! The new owners have put allot of money, thought and time in remodeling, entertainment, Management and staff. It's a safe establishment for ALL to enjoy. Being a gay bar it's one that is here for everyone. Dance the night away to country music. Sunday Tea dances are packed. I could live without the drag shows as it seems every bar thinks they have to have them. Drink prices are cheap, staff friendly and helpful. They keep an eye out for their guests. Management are hands on. Not scared to get their hands dirty from bar backing to bartending. Glad they got rid of Howard that just took up bar seat to stare at customers and make negative comments to staff. Certainly used to make me feel uncomfortable, but now is all good and this place is on point. Free valet parking (tipping the valet is appreciated) or you can park your own car out behind the business next door. JUST DO NOT PARK ACROSS THE STREET, that is a no no and you will be towed. Give this place a well deserved five star rating and would recommend it to those looking for a great place to go. read more

Scandals just re-opened with their new owners. Was there on soft opening night and then back again a few days later. The staff and owners are going through some growing pains. The bartenders, though friendly, were extremely slow (but then again, this is Florida). Bartenders kept running out of glassware and liquor and suppliers. Barbacks were few and far between. Construction was going on while the bar was open and packed with patrons. The sound system leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully over time, they will get things more organized and possibly deserve that fifth star read more

I love coming here, somethings are a tad off. Valet is just silly. No one uses it, they're rude... to the point you want to say "give me my keys back" and just leave. Every experience with them, rude. It's just bougie. The TouchTunes is divided into two boxes, the one inside and outside. You don't realize you've put $20 into the thing until it's the outside one, which BTW doesn't play, but you're paying for. The inside has 230+ songs in the queue. No, really. On the positive, we have great taste in music, so it's good all the way. You just won't hear your song on your visit. The most craft beer you are going to find is Yuengling -- I know I'm sounding snobby, but come on?! I'm 40 freakin 8 and want a craft beer instead of corporate breweries. You're a local bar and there are great new breweries in Florida that you can support. Owned a bar, took the risk, it's worth it. Some bartenders are friendly, others just want to focus on their regulars and ignore you. In general, it's a great place. Folks are friendly. Worth the stop. read more

I popped in on Thursday, May 11th during the afternoon. I had a good time in the back bar. Bottled beer was $8 and $9 for 3 beers, domestic or imported. Great value. Mike was the bartender and he was awesome! He worked the entire bar checking to make sure everyone got prompt service when they needed a drink. The new ownership has really put a lot of MONEY, time, energy, and careful thought into reviving Scandals as the 'go to' bar in the Wilton Manors/Oakland Park area. Renovations have really spruced up the place. Drinks are flowing at great happy hour prices. Much thought has gone into providing a variety of entertainment, along with the popular Sunday T-Dance, weekly country dance lessons, and Karaoke. The manager, Alex Amerosa, has put his heart and soul (and tireless energy) into turning this venue into something really special. You can't beat the outside patio bar and spacious area to mingle and enjoy our South Florida weather. Bartenders are friendly and go out of their way to help you have a great experience.
