With most of Wilton Manors queer-borhood centered around a stroad/vehicular parking lot/strip mall, The Manor is a refreshing grade-A certified DANCE CLUB to dance the night away. With neon lights, plenty of bars, bathrooms, and bumping music, you usually don't have to wait long (except for special events, of course) and can spend longer dancing the night away - which is one of my favorite activities. Staff is friendly enough and the shows they put on - from Drag to DJs - are usually worth the pretty penny. Plenty crazy and spectacular, so if you got an event to go to here, I'd say go! read more

The Manor is a large venue with valet parking. It has five bars and clean restrooms. There is an outside second floor area that leads into a lofted area to sit and have a drink. Ambiance is great. It is modern, well lit, and clean. Heads up, there are a lot of stairs and the bathrooms are thin and usually crowded. The bartenders can make you anything you want, but during major celebrations like Pride the drinks are small and expensive. Likewise bartenders are overextended and the wait time is quite long. Price for drinks at regular events are higher than average, but much of the liquor use is brand name or higher shelf. read more

Gary was extremely nice and welcoming! As well as the Haitian security guard that was working outside last night was super nice. It really said the tone of my entrance. I shortly after even met the owner he was a nice guy too. The Club itself is very big with ample space to dance. The drinks are strong and good priced. I Love going to the manor , good music , great djs, but been noticing that the drinks go for 10$ to 19$ when you get drunk, they don't think you'll check your bank statements next day or remember , i bought two drinks when I got in and paid 20$ then later on I paid 28$ for the same drink. I guess The Manor was supposed to be a central gay jewel of a place with something for everyone; kind of a one size fits all gay people type of place. It's huge, has an enormous and beautiful dance floor, a restaurant with rather good service though somewhat "iffy" food, several bars and all kinds of entertainment. Sometimes when there is decent entertainment going, it attracts a crowd but on off week nights it's deader than the local mausoleum. It's difficult to figure The Manor. Someone sure spent a lot of money on it, buying out the old Flower's Restaurant (which was good riddance), then completely rebuilding and expanding into what it is today. I as there for opening night, the traditional glass of free champagne and what was to be part of a Cirque show. That, however, never happened until 11:00 pm and then turned out to be anything but a Cirque show. That is unless you think some dizzy broad going up and down; turning summersaults on some draperies suspended from the ceiling makes a Cirque show. They also gather email addresses from the patrons in order to notify them of special events, but wouldn't you know they put their addresses on some sort of mass mailer so that they all ended up in the unwanted spam bin of the intended addressees. Basically I find The Manor to be a nice place, but they really can't seem to get their act together or do anything right. For example, in the back bar lounge they had a comedy act. The place was packed and though it has a bar, there was no bartender to be found. To have a drink you had to walk to the main bar, and then try to get back into the lounge area. Ugh! With the "iffy" food at high prices, the general bungling of the employees not knowing what they are really suppose to be doing and no one seeming to know exactly what is happening, I can't say much for it. Particularly since other places seem to be a lot more fun, leaving The Manor as being rather dullsville. read more

Wow... amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing service. The place was packed whence got there but the hostess, Lady Guy, hooked us with one of the bartenders, Drew, who took excellent care of us. We starters with Basil Gimlets. I am a big fan of the vodka Gimlet, but had never had one with basil. Wow... The Ahi Tuna appetizer arrived in no time flat and we inhaled it. The sear was perfect and it was served with just enough wasabi on the side. Next we had the perfect dirty martini and it was both pe rfect and dirty. My friends and I came here for my bachelorette party this past weekend. I had never been but I am so happy we chose this place to party at. The club is huge but we stayed in the main room for the majority of the evening. The DJ was amazing and they even had performers dancing/fire dancing. My goofy friend bought a blowup doll to tote around town with us. Everyone there thought it was hilarious and the doll spent the night crowd surfing and getting danced with by random people. It is so rare to encounter nice people here in South Florida. So it was amazing to encounter only nice and funny humans the entire night we spent here. What a great time! read more

First time at Manor and went on a Friday night. I know that this club is 18+ and over but it was more of an 18 and under Lmao. I am not even exaggerating. I went with my friends who are in mid to late twenties and holy cow when we walked in, it's like we were right back in high school. LITERALLY. That young high school look and high school attitude were definitely 99.8% of the crowd. Definitely not the type of crowd I personally enjoy being around so I didn't enjoy it that much. There were definitely many minors trying to "sneak in a drink or get someone older to buy them a drink " and all that which was kind of annoying. But hey, it's a super young crowd so those kind of attempts are not surprising since we've all been there when we were that age. Music it was Latin night and I gotta admit they played some really good music. There were two rooms although they were kinda small so after midnight it gets crowded like crazy. I mean body to body crowded. Outside the two rooms was like a bar type of set up which was not bad. I believe if you are a Florida resident the cover is free if you are over 21 and if it is before 11 or 12 - something to that effect. read more

Manor lately has been very hit or miss for me. Years ago I used to love to come here. Probably my favorite club before and after coming out...now not so much. I went recently to see Miss. Beast herself, Alyssa Edwards in person. My friend was hit in the face, and she clocked him back as self defense, however she was kicked out and the man who started was not. YES the man hit the woman first and nothing was done....ridiculous I know. Tried to explain the situation to the bouncer(who I have had issues with in the past) and he literally did not care one bit. Then before that incident I had my bag checked as I entered The Manor one night and everything was all fine and dandy. I had a tab going, enjoying my time, and there comes THE SAME BOUNCER, taps on my shoulder and yells at me I have to "leave now!" because I had a bag....I said sir my bag was checked in order to get in this literally makes no sense. He told me he would be "so kind" as to let me go put my bag in the car not have to make me pay twice...I was so angry because why would I pay twice when it wasn't my fault to begin with. My whole night was ruined so I decided to close my tab and immediately leave. Most recently(when the check in is from) was a Halloween event. My friend and I ubered and ended up having a great time ( because of our company and the fact that we left and went to other places) but the music at Manor last Saturday was terrible. The hip hop room was Spanish ALL night, I understand switch it in and out, but not everyone wants to hear latin music all night long at a halloween event? And I'm Colombian, I don't know it just did not make sense. The house room also was playing really bad old school music, and I usually LOVEEE oldies. I need to revise my review for this place. And probably my opinion will vary widely depending on the days. Because it's that kind of place - a place that has a hard time keeping everything consistently under control. It's one of the nicest clubs around, but also one of the dirtiest since there doesn't seem to be much of a cleaning staff. And I'm talking Saturday night. I've seen shabbier clubs that are just as packed but are cleaner. Additionally, another thing that bothers me is how the air is stifling hot in here when it's packed. It's uncomfortably hot and sticky. Not something I'd expect for this club to be if it's aiming to be of a higher calibre. And unfortunately most of the other clubs I've been to that are again, just as packed, are not as stifling hot as it was in The Manors. I wish I could say it's an isolated incident, but I've experienced this the last three times I've gone out for the Manors' nightlife. I'd only recommend this place on a quieter night, for the restaurant, bar and chill spot - but as far as clubbing goes, there's work that needs to be done. read more

In my opinion, the Manor is now a terrible nightclub. I have hosted my birthday there years ago and I am appalled at the horrendous service I received last night. I had an open tab with a bartender who gave me great service and was very attentive. As I was dancing on the main dance floor, a Manor employee named Michael accosted me and told me that he suspects that I am underage. I am currently 33 years old. I thanked him for the compliment and continued dancing. Michael then demanded that I show him my ID. I informed Michael that my driver's license and American Express credit card were both with the bartender. Michael escorted me as if I were a child over to the bartender who looked at him like he was crazy, and verified that I had a tab open with him and that I was 33 years old. I then requested to speak to a manager to voice my opinion on how Michael's interaction could have better been handled and to resolve the issue. The manager who I interacted with was unsympathetic and on Michael's side straight off the bat without even listening to me. I left a voice message for the owner of the Manor, Paul Hugo, to discuss Michael's unprofessionalism and the lack of competence of the manager to resolve the issue. The call has not been returned. I will not be returning to the Manor until I get a resolution from the owner Paul Hugo and Michael's inappropriate and unprofessional behavior is addressed accordingly. read more

Owned by the same people who operated Coliseum, which set my bar for every club, this complex does not fail to offer amazing music, hot bodies and great drinks every time. You have to be careful though, they will have early drink specials which are amazing, and then they take a healthy jump, so know your timing and watch your tab. The place welcomes a very healthy mix of everyone, but does sku more tward the twink/young pro crowd. If you're looking for a hardcore fetish type experience this may not be for you. Covid super spread establishment! Went last night to meet couple of friends that were visiting town! We walked in and huge sign stated that masks should be worn at all times if you are on the dance floor! No drinks allowed there. And that those rules will be strictly enforced. Well NOT even one person had a mask on anywhere in your establishment. Half your stuff had their masks under their noses. Breathing on the drinks they were making. The place was packed, no social distancing, no masks, no enforcement of any kind. It is absolutely disgusting that no one cared. And mostly You didn't care, you didn't care that your establishment is a mayhem for spreading Covid. It's all about money and how many people we can charge $10 tonight. This place is huge! Always a good time and drinks are not very expensive. I like that each room has a different type of music, the only two complaints I would have is that in the entrance they do not accept card for the entrance fee and I never have cash on me so I have to go to an ATM to get cash out. The other complaint is that the hip hop room (the best room and music) gets extremely hot, I would suggest they kick up the air and turn on the fans in that room. Other than that, this place rocks! While this place is super fun, be wary of THEFT. There is an entire crime ring that has pinned this popular night spot as a perfect location to pray on the unsuspecting. I Love The Manor - and I'm happy to delete this post once the problem is fixed. But something has to be done. There is an entire CELLPHONE THEFT NETWORK running in this place. Your phone will get stolen! If not tonight, then another time. Three weeks ago we were at The Manor and I had my iphone in my front pocket, as there are signs posted on the wall, PLACE ALL VALUABLES IN FRONT POCKETS. I'm a careful guy. One minute I had it - next minute it was gone. Shock! Horror! My iphone was stollen. So we set out to find the culprit, using Find My Friends. We followed the dot around until we saw it leave the building. Ran out into the street and then BAM it disappeared, they turned the phone off. Never to be seen again. Then something strange happened two weeks later, I get an odd txt from id_icloud.apple@icloud.com saying, "[Notice]your lost iPhone has been found, please refer to the specific location apple.info-icloud-id.com/us Apple suport" I click the link and there is a very liggit-looking icloud sign-in page...except for the URL. It's all fake! Routed from China!! It was a hacker, with my stollen phone, attacking me with a phishing scheme to get my icloud password so he could unlock, wipe, and sell my stollen iphone in the black market. NOW - I started talking to people about the theft. More often then not, it had happened to them to. It's like an epidemic. Turns out a LOT of people have fallen victim. No one is talking about it because they feel guilty! Today a new phone can knock you back $500-$1000 dollars, no one should feel bad about this, we need to be vocal, we need to do something! HERE ARE MY (Possible) SOLUTIONS: Patrons: Besides putting phones and $$ in your front pocket, tie one end of a string around your phone and then tie the other to a belt loop in your pants. Then if someone snags your phone, it'll tug your pants, you'll feel it, the guy will get caught, and hopefully freak out and run away. The Manor Staff: 1) Inform people verbally that there is a problem here, have fun, but be watchful. 2) Give out pieces of string along with those colorful bracelets. That won't cost much at all. 3) Inform the police! I know, I know...but sometimes just the mere presence will detract offenders. ALSO: Fill out a police report. It will take 5 minutes. Swing by the Wilton Manors Police Station. Fill out the paperwork. You prolly won't see your phone again, but it will help them figure out just how frequently this is happening. Wow, it's been more than 4 1/2 years since I first reviewed The Manor, and more than 3 since I wrote my last update, though I've returned here at least a dozen times. Time does fly! Simply put, you won't find a classier place on Wilton Drive that features a little something to suit nearly everyone's tastes in both entertainment options as well as eye candy as you'll find at The Manor. It's got a modern looking, well-stocked bar when you first enter, a smaller bar to the left with a few dozen craft beers and microbrews on tap and in bottles, there's a Latin club at the back, and to the side of the main bar is the entrance to the 2 storey dance club, which also has a stage and is used for some special events, celebrity DJs and small concerts. I find that The Manor tends to evolve fairly often. As I mentioned in my last review, there had been some changes over the first year that this place was in operation, some rooms and spaces were re-themed vs. their original intent, etc. That has continued. What was once a café and pastry/dessert counter to the left when you first enter is now a bar where they have a few dozen taps and sell several craft beers / microwbrews. What was once the outdoor bar on the patio in front and billed as a "sports bar" is now gone, as they moved that wall out so they could move the bar for the 2 storey dance club back several feet to make room for more patrons in there. In my last review I also mentioned that they had a stage and a live band that played in the main bar area on weekend evenings. While I enjoyed their music and they were talented, they were really too loud for that small of a space, and it was annoying to have to yell at the person next to you at the bar when trying to carry on a conversation, or scream your order to the bartender. For better or worse, the stage and that band have been gone for quite some time. I've been here for a number of special events and even a "concert" where Deborah Cox performed about 4 numbers. The Manor is always well staffed, organized, I've never experienced rude treatment by any of the employees, and the patrons also seem to be younger than many of the other bars in this area and are out to have a fun time. Do note that this bar/club is one of the later ones to come alive on weekend evenings. If you stop by on an off night or before things really get busy, this place can be VERY dead and seem like a ghost town, if for no other reason than just the sheer size of the place. The disco lighting in the club portion of The Manor is much improved since I wrote my last review, and they hired a proper lighting programmer to operate it. So instead of a dark disco with the same lighting design running all night, it's now a lot more lively and the lighting design actually changes with the beat of the music and tempo of the songs that are played. So how could they improve the place moving forward? 2 things: 1)Better A/C in the dance club. The last few times I've been here, we left simply because we were getting "swamp ass" from sweating and gyrating on the dance floor. They do have the 2 large CO2 jets that I mentioned in my last review. Those do help cool the place a bit, but not nearly enough. On the night Deborah Cox performed, I was just standing up in one of the loft areas enjoying a drink and watching the show, wasn't dancing or moving around and I was literally dripping sweat. 2) More restrooms. I noticed that they removed one toilet from at least one of their restrooms so they could install more urinals, but when they pack this place on Friday and Saturday nights, the lines for the restrooms can be several people deep and a long wait. read more

Came for a drag queen performance around 11pm. She didn't take the stage until *three hours* after the show started at 2am. And she only performed two songs. Meanwhile, the Manor was a pretty unpleasant experience. Generic house remixes at preposterously loud volumes, bartenders (one of whom was completely incompetent and spilled drink after drink in the upstairs bar) refuse to sell you water for anything less than $5, underage kids barfing on the dance floor, and a $10 cover for those without an in state ID. Newest place on Wilton Drive - promises to be the next big thing in town. It's a welcoming new addition that blends in well with the rest of the businesses. Designed with lots of outdoor, street-side space, the place reminds me of a Key West meets New Orleans bar come restaurant come cafe. The cafe is really a misnomer I think. Sure you can stop and get coffee to go, but the space really lends itself more to the restaurant space during the day. I was here on opening night and def plan a follow-up visit. The whole place flowed surprising well. You can tell they didn't just move into some used building. The drinks were mixed well, though the lines were a bit long. There must be ten bars in the entire place. It really does have something for everyone. I can see the locals chilling out at the neighborhood style bar in front, the tourists at the two story dance floor, and the Miami crowd on the second story terrace or hip outdoors space in the back. Oh, and there's no smoking! Yay!! I didn't think it was monsteriously big at all. I had a great time and so did everyone I went with. I think this place will do well. read more

The Manor is the real life version of Babylon from Queer as Folk. It is the type of place where gays and lesbians of different sizes and races can come together for a fun night of dancing, drinking, and merriment. I came here last Saturday and was amazed at the architecture and sense of fun here. It was definitely a huge sign of relief knowing that I found a place to go dancing and meet new people without the pretentiousness of South Beach. Also, unlike other clubs in Miami, I found a good share of "gaysians" here. I am an introvert so hopefully next time I come here I will not be too nervous to strike a conversation with a guy. The crowd here is diverse. Also, a word of advice to The Manor... Please turn up the air conditioning! I came here the night Deborah Cox was performing, and I think I almost passed out due to the humidity. There was definitely a lot of people here because the Manor is known as the go-to place for having a good time, and there is always no cover, so the venue was very packed. However, with those many people in the room, the place can get humid, and I honestly found it to be unbearable, so please turn up the air conditioning the next time you have a live music event. Also, please make sure that you conduct a sound check. I couldn't figure out a word that Miss Cox was performing because there was too much bass. Having to wait over 2 hours also ruins the mood. Overall, I will come again to the Manor because it is a good place to meet people (or so I have heard), but like all other places, there are definitely a few things that need to be fixed. Good crowd. Came here to have a couple of drinks with some friends on a Friday night. Well, a couple turned out to just be one. After finding out that 2 drinks came out to $27, we decided to finish our one drink, in a small plastic cup, and hop along. Granted, the place is huge. The nightclub section of The Manor is quite impressive that i boasts a stage, two levels of dance-floor and VIP sections throughout. The music was great, thanks to the DJ stylings of Daisy D. After walking around and checking out the rest of the venue, which i will say again, was super nice and modern, we decided to take our fun elsewhere. And elsewhere turned out to be Georgies Alibi across the street which had double the drink measurements for half the price. I noticed the place is also a restaurant, but I didn't see anyone sitting the restaurant section. There's also an ice cream section too, pretty empty as well. If you want to impress your wealthy out of town gays, take them to The Manor. A good time will be had, no doubt, but you may end up going broke. Not sure if I will make the trek back up here, unless it's for a special event. read more

Manor was my first encounter with a gay club, and I would for sure go back. However i would do it up next time by parading my fishnets and barely there attire, really where else can this be done other than in a room full of guys who don't give a f*ck what you look like. It was refreshing to be able to dance freely without any random genitalia grinding on my back side, and the music was pretty good. There was a drag "show" for lack of a better term.
