This bar would be a 5 for those that like smoking at the bar, love playing pool and other bar games. Not so much for people who are allergic to smoke. The bar food is pretty good.

Inside of mozzarella stick

We stopped in to get mozzarella sticks and pickle back shots. The mozzarella sticks were very disappointing as per the pictures will show that it was mostly empty with no cheese in them. The inside was amazing as they have pool tables and other games to play and it was a large area. The bartenders were very nice but not too sociable.

If you're looking for a nice vibe with great music and good food. Go to Blondies! The Dj played all the latest hits from south Florida. The food was your basic finger food but it was cooked to perfection. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return. Ohhh and I forgot to mention they have a lot of different arcade games and activities to do. Definitely a fun spot for a friend group and date night.

Staying at the hotel for a month at the beach, so I have been able to visit this location several…read moretimes. The food is basically Italian/Argentinian/American. I have had several things from the menu, including a hamburger, house salad, wild salmon, chicken Melanesia, empanadas and even a hot dog! Everything is fresh and high quality. The salmon is huge and very fresh. It has a mild blackening/seasoning that forms a nice crust. The chicken reminds me of my mom/grandma/great grandma's chicken cutlets! Very Italian/Sicilian vibe. (Get them with mash potatoes). The patio is always comfortable with a great breeze and a view of the ocean a block away. What really stands out here though is the friendly service. Andres has been there almost every night and has always been great. He is very prompt with bringing drinks and food. You can see them hustling down to the kitchen and keeping things running smoothly. But what I like the most is the friendliness. He is always willing to chat about soccer, music, wine, or anything else (but also knows when to leave you alone so you can eat). Also, the value is pretty good. The wine is $10 or less. They have my favorite Malbec. And even the ribeye, at the beach, for $27 is not bad at all. Some of the appetizers are a bit pricey ($13 french fries) but I think all in all its one of the better values in the area. Note they do not serve liquor, only beer and wine. Also, there are no tables inside. Just a small bar inside and then several tables outside. This is a fairly quiet and unpretentious restaurant. If you want a trendy noisy evening this is not the place. It has never been packed, but there is usually a person or two at the bar. They play music but it does not dominate the atmosphere. Usually something chill like reggae. If you want friendly service, good food, and a relaxing environment, then this is a great choice. Dog friendly patio. This is the type of place you can sit with a book and drink wine, or catch the soccer game and have a beer or three. Definitely worth a visit especially if you are staying at the hotel!

The Den occupies an enviable corner street location which was once pf a very good restaurant with a good bent toward Floribbean Cuisine, but now that is all gone, and The Den is just another very typical sports bar. The Den Sports Bar and Lounge has little if any décor about it, not even of sports equipment. The menu is basically bar food which may be summed up as chili, tacos, wings and handhelds of sliders, Philly cheesesteak, burgers, and a chili hot dog. I'd say bar food is rather pricey with chili hot dogs at $16.00 and Black & Blue Burgers at $19.00. I wasn't here for a game but understand it attacks a good beer guzzling hoot and hollering group of fans. By far, the best thing going for The Den is it's efficient, know what they are doing, and attractive female bartenders. They're great conversationalist, know how to make a great cocktail, and just make one feel good.

The best parts about Con Murphy's are the beach view and the food. I asked for a glass of water and was told they only serve bottled water. I was able to order club soda instead, so it's not like they were under a boil water advisory. We were only provided forks for our meals, which arrived quickly. We needed a knife to cut our sandwiches in half (we were sharing) and it took so long to get the knife that our sandwiches got cold. Otherwise, the food was tasty and prepared well. Before arriving, I Googled parking for Con Murphy's and a Facebook post came up saying that parties of 4 or more can park for free in the adjoining Beach Place garage. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that they don't validate parking anymore. The cost to park ended up being a $50 FLAT RATE. I only thought I was losing out on maybe $10 bucks so I didn't say anything, but other patrons may not be so nice. I highly recommended taking that post down. Overall, the food was good but the service was only ok and not worth the hassle to get there and park.

Let's start with the service because WOW... TOP. NOTCH. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and making sure we were good from beginning to end. No chasing anyone down, no waiting forever -- just good hospitality. And honestly, that deserves its own 5 stars! We kicked things off with the calamari, and that plate disappeared FAST. Crispy, flavorful, and a perfect starter. Then came the grouper for the main course. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. You know it's good when the table suddenly gets quiet because everybody is too busy eating. Now let's talk about the specialty drinks because this is where things got very Miami! The Coco Nuts and Dragon Breath were both a whole experience. Great presentation, great flavors, and definitely not boring drinks. These are the kind of cocktails that have you saying, "I'll just have one..." and then suddenly you're ordering another one. Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and A+ service, Beach House on Las Olas definitely delivered. Las Olas + good food + good drinks + great service = you already know the vibe. Would I come back?
