I hosted a St. Patrick's Day party and wanted to serve draft beer. WHAT AN AWESOME SERVICE!!! I contacted Travis at Tap That and he was super helpful in getting me setup. He helped me choose the right beer (we went with a Milk Stout on Nitro to get that Guinness-type effect), got me setup with a Jockey Box, and walked me through how to set everything up. The service was reasonably priced, the beer choice was FANTASTIC, and everyone on the team were super friendly and easy to work with. 2 times per year I host work events where we serve draft beer. In the past we have gone to local breweries directly. In the future we will be going to Tap That. 10/10 will recommend to a friend! read more

Tap That is an amazing beer service provider. I have used them twice so far. They have a great selection of kegs and half kegs to choose from. They will come to your home and do the installation of your keg as well as check to make sure everything is at working perfect before they leave. They have provided me personally with a replacement of Co2 as well as the proper keg attachment for a German keg. I highly recommend using there services. Travis the owner is also highly knowledgeable and professional as well. read more

Love the trivia night, the food vendor, the pinot noir they carry and the fantastic beer selection. The decor is seriously lacking, but the friendly staff and cheerful customers make a nice environment. We will keep coming for trivia night... oh, and the bathrooms are huge and clean!! read more

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Tap That (and Travis in particular). Last fall, we were hosting Thanksgiving at our house for the first time - expecting about 25 friends and family for the day of football and feasting. For the special occasion, we had purchased a fresh keg of Franziskaner Hefeweizen to serve up during the day in our kegerator. The night before Thanksgiving, we picked up the keg and the required European coupler. A few hours after we hooked up the keg, we discovered that the coupler was malfunctioning and our entire CO2 tank was drained as a result. So this was the night before Thanksgiving, we had no CO2 and no functioning coupler. While we were able to find a shop that night that could refill the CO2 canister, it was too late to drive back down to the supply store to exchange the coupler (and of course, no one is open on Thanksgiving). In a panic, we started searching online for anyone that could help -- it was then that we ran across the Tap That website. We immediately called Travis (who was good enough to answer the phone late into the evening) and talked through the issue with him. He agreed to come out to our place in the morning (Thanksgiving morning), and bring out a new coupler. As promised, he showed up around 9am with the new coupler...we hooked it up and it poured perfectly. I purchased the new coupler from Travis, who charged a very reasonable price (in fact, he charged the same price that most online retailers charge for the same unit). Excellent service, fair prices ... what more could you ask for? I know this review is a few months late, but thanks again, Travis...we're looking forward to trying the new tasting room! read more

We went on a Wednesday night for trivia and it was such a blast! The setting is intimate, but don't let that fool you. I don't know how, but despite the number of people there, I was still able to hear my own conversations. I've been to larger places where you have to scream to be heard. Trivia with Nancy was fantastic. The questions were a great combination of pop culture and more than common knowledge. There may have been some competition, but it wasn't obvious and didn't make the atmosphere negative unlike some places. Bathrooms are super clean, because you know, that's important for women. Bartender was Michael, I believe. There was a sign over the bar and I presume they change it depending on who's tending. Michael was helpful, kind, and sweet. As for drinks, I had the Julian Cider and didn't feel it until the next day. All I can say about that is "whoa, mama!" We will be here again for trivia someday! read more

My hubby & I had no problems spending over $700 with them on our 1st visit. Then another $200 a few days later when picking up our keg for our new keg system through them. We also enjoy the GREAT beers on tap they have. Between enjoying the beers, the company and friendliness by the owners, - it seemed easy and perfect to support their business, especially a local business! My husband heard about this place through a friend. I being a charger fan & He a Bronco Fan:( (boo) decided to run down there @ 1/2 time to enjoy a choice craft beer & check out our local tap house.. The owners & the fans even welcomed my husband & his poor choice of team he was cheering for! Good people right there! We didn't realize they didn't serve food (I had just come from work) & they were not only so helpful & informative with all the beer choices but they fed us a snack mix that we munched on Til we were full @ no charge! Finally got in here the other day, and really liked the place. Plenty of good beers on tap, nice sitting area, and good service. Only possible gripe would be that all beers seemed to be $6/pt which is steep compared to the rest of the breweries/pubs in the area. Can see that price for some of the higher end beers, but not the local standards. They do offer $1 discounts per pint if you buy a glass, and have some special nights, but so do several of the others. Don't get me wrong, I will still drop in from time to time, but just feel as if they may do a better business if they get there pricing more in line. As for the shop portion, I can't speak, but have heard positive things. Nice place, nice owners...hope they do well. read more

Came out to oceanside to go skydiving and stopped at this lil tavern for some beers before we jump to calm our nerves and i think this is one of the best bars ive been to. Thay have a great beer selection and a cool selection of board games to play. They usually have a event going on every day. The thing that put them in the 5 star range is that they there dog friendly so bring your dog grab a good beer and have a good time. Ih ya costumer service is excellent!!!! read more

Impeccable service! Travis and his wife are awesome. They delivered a 2 tap jockey box to our party, set it all up, and were done in less than 10 minutes. If you are serving quality craft beer, do not do yourself a disservice by simply throwing a tap on top of a keg that's sitting in a bucket of ice. Get a jockey box! How can you not love this place. Only the nicest place in all of North county to go and get a beer and be surrounded by friends and not kids. We like to frequent the breweries but with all of the little kids running around it is really hard to enjoy yourself. That is what I love about Tap That no kids (well except Ziggy). That and the staff Kelly and Travis are wonderful people and they do not make you feel like a customer but FAMILY and that always makes you feel good. This is my favorite place to go. There are 20 different styles of beer on tap and then over 50 in bottles that you can purchase. The owner... an old friend of mine owns this business... I needed a kegerator for a graduation party and he immediately came to mind. I called him up and he gave me all of the details... very simple and very clear. He said he could bring me the draft beer equipment and my keg of beer. One delivery... done... sold! It does not get better than this if you want some good draft beer at your party. It adds a little class and is easy on the eyes. We love this place. Friendly, well-lit and 20 local craft beers on tap at $5 a pint. Tasters as well. $3 a pint for the running-out kegs on "Kill the Keg" Sundays. It was like a bar, they sold bottles of alcohol that other breweries brewed and sampled local beers on their taps. They themselves do not brew and serve in house beers. Seemed like the crowd here was roudy and could probably get up there, not really a place to relax, but can sample some pretty good local beers. read more
