Their inventory is beautiful (that's why two stars instead of one), which is why selected them for a weekend of multiple Christmas 2023 activities for my boss's family. I won't go into long details and I fully expect a response from the company blaming me (as I see they've done to other reviewers). Basically, they strongly lack in internal communication as a team, will put substitutions on your order without telling you (and then deliver them anyway), will not care if they mess up, and promise to order custom color linens (that they offered to do) but then you find out day-of that they don't have them. They may even be spiteful as to not reply to urgent messages the day before the first event...and a threaten, at 8pm the night before Christmas Eve, to not show up. As an event planner knows, sometimes clients don't give detail decisions until the last minute. A professional, experienced rental company knows how to go with the flow and works as a team to make the event great. Especially when they're making near five figures, plus generous delivery gratuities at each delivery. These are not experienced professionals. They probably thought I forgot to write this review, as I told them I would do. I stayed calm and respectful during the process (over fear they really wouldn't show up, due to their attitude). But I am obviously still resentful as I plan this year's events. I wanted to be sure other event planners were warned to look elsewhere....as I am doing this year. I truly hate writing negative posts, but this is what I read reviews for as well.

Tuesday of the dinner week rolled around, and sure enough, the rain was confirmed for Thursday. I reached out to what felt like 1 million different companies, and most of the quotes were fairly high for a canopy. I found Arael Events here on yelp, and then I went to social media to see if I could find additional tagged photos of events they've done. Not that I needed an elaborate set up, but I wanted to make sure that the set up looked nice and that it would withstand the weather and wind. Her quote came in significantly lower than most other companies, and that included canopy walls, a string of lights down the center, as well as set up and teardown. They are quick, professional, and friendly! When I find a company that I believe in, they have my full support! I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking to rent for their events, so much so that after my event, they took down the canopy, and transported it just down the road to a friend's place for their weekend event, AND I booked them again for our team the following week.

It made the whole process so much easier. We hired Sylvia for our daughter's 18th birthday party for about 25 people, and everything was perfect. They came early in the morning on the day of the event and set everything up, then came back about an hour before the party started with the food. Everything was right on time and looked amazing. The food was delicious as well, and we had plenty of leftovers. Not one complaint about the food, and these were 18-year-old girls, so that says a lot! We also had a photo booth and the telephone where the girls could leave private messages for the birthday girl. That was such a fun and special touch and ended up being one of my favorite things. Aesthetically, everything looked beautiful, and I'll add some pictures so you can see for yourself. Everyone we worked with from Sylvia's company was professional, friendly, and very efficient. At one point, the wind knocked over some of the photo booth decorations, and they came over right away and fixed everything without us even having to worry about it. One other thing I loved about working with Sylvia is that she is a Navy veteran.
