Their inventory is beautiful (that's why two stars instead of one), which is why selected them for a weekend of multiple Christmas 2023 activities for my boss's family. I won't go into long details and I fully expect a response from the company blaming me (as I see they've done to other reviewers). Basically, they strongly lack in internal communication as a team, will put substitutions on your order without telling you (and then deliver them anyway), will not care if they mess up, and promise to order custom color linens (that they offered to do) but then you find out day-of that they don't have them. They may even be spiteful as to not reply to urgent messages the day before the first event...and a threaten, at 8pm the night before Christmas Eve, to not show up. As an event planner knows, sometimes clients don't give detail decisions until the last minute. A professional, experienced rental company knows how to go with the flow and works as a team to make the event great. Especially when they're making near five figures, plus generous delivery gratuities at each delivery. These are not experienced professionals. They probably thought I forgot to write this review, as I told them I would do. I stayed calm and respectful during the process (over fear they really wouldn't show up, due to their attitude). But I am obviously still resentful as I plan this year's events. I wanted to be sure other event planners were warned to look elsewhere....as I am doing this year. I truly hate writing negative posts, but this is what I read reviews for as well.

What I liked most about this company was that Sylvia gave me a quote along with different ideas and packages to choose from. It made the whole process so much easier. We hired Sylvia for our daughter's 18th birthday party for about 25 people, and everything was perfect. They came early in the morning on the day of the event and set everything up, then came back about an hour before the party started with the food. Everything was right on time and looked amazing. The food was delicious as well, and we had plenty of leftovers. Not one complaint about the food, and these were 18-year-old girls, so that says a lot! We also had a photo booth and the telephone where the girls could leave private messages for the birthday girl. That was such a fun and special touch and ended up being one of my favorite things. Aesthetically, everything looked beautiful, and I'll add some pictures so you can see for yourself. Everyone we worked with from Sylvia's company was professional, friendly, and very efficient. At one point, the wind knocked over some of the photo booth decorations, and they came over right away and fixed everything without us even having to worry about it. One other thing I loved about working with Sylvia is that she is a Navy veteran. The decision to hire Allies Party Rental for my daughter's wedding reception was the most important…read moreand best decision I made. The first time I met with Mike I told him I wanted something beautiful but with a "wow" factor. Boy, did he deliver! He and Gloria were so incredible to work with. They were so knowledgeable and full of incredible ideas. There was nothing they couldn't source for me. I had many meetings and phone calls with them and they were both ALWAYS very professional and happy to brain storm with me. Truly they went above and beyond to make sure everything was PERFECT! The staff that handled the installation were also incredible. Professional and hard working. The night of the event, the head of the installation crew stayed at the event in case of any hiccups. Of course there weren't any. I told Mike at our first meeting that I was worried about rain and cool weather. Mike suggested a clear tent that held our 200 guests. They installed three GORGEOUS crystal chandeliers in the tent, sheer white fabric draping and market lights. There is no other word than "magic" to describe the inside of the tent. The light in the tent kept changing as the sun went down. Then when it was dark, the market lights and chandeliers reflected off the clear tent ceiling. Wow, wow, wow. The chandeliers were also on dimmers so we could turn them down slightly when it was time to dance. In order to make sure my guests were not cold, Mike installed a forced air heater in the tent that was controlled with a thermostat. The temperature was perfect! We also rented all our tables, chairs, linens, dishes, cutlery, drinking glasses, bar setup, easels, yard games and oversized lighted letters from Allies. Everything was in perfect condition. It's been three months since our wedding but we still have the largest smiles on our faces. Thank you, thank you Allies and More Party Rental. Working with you was our best decision!

She was the perfect blend of fun and organized commando. Opal spent time with the bride to know exactly what she wanted, and diligently defended that vision to all vendors and wedding party members. I could sing her praises all day, but here are a couple of examples to show why you should hire Opal so you can enjoy a worry free event. 1) When the bridal bouquet showed up, because Opal knew our bride's vision she knew the bouquet was not at all what we wanted. Before the bride had a chance to panic, Opal had her florist on site to fix the bouquet so that the bride was thrilled with it. 2) When Opal was directing everyone to be seated so the 96 year old Granny could start the procession, a very rude guest began yelling at Opal and told her to shut up just do her job!!! Somehow Opal kept calm, got this guest seated and Granny could make her entrance without ever knowing a disaster was averted. 3) Several unexpected quests arrived to our preassigned seating dinner. Opal found seats and food for these guests, again without anyone knowing there was even a problem. Thank you, Opal. You made our event magical.
