Every weekend my husband and I run to this place for the great conversations and the great beer. All types of flavors of beer. This place is great. Good tap selection that rotates often, great bottle selection, and we can get our CO2 swapped out as well. Friendly, helpful staff and a great vibe. I like that I can get tasters and half pints, making it easy to sample several beers while I'm there. Yep. This place is awesome in its own way. It's a place you go to hang out, catch up with old friends, and/or strike up a conversation with normal people. Don't expect to be entertained. It's not a club, it's not a sports bar (per se) and it doesn't have stunning views of the ocean or busy sidewalks. Think brewery...with seating. I happen to love San Diego beers more than any other so I can never be disappointed when I sit down in this specializing establishment. Occasionally I'm forced out of my comfort zone a bit by the beers of the day but even that comes with frequent benefits. And if I'm feeling extremely finicky, there's always a giant bottle selection. In the end, you're never stuck with one brewer's limited offerings. You can go a whole different direction with each order. The owners are great. They're not beer snobs, as is often the case with gastropubs, although they are clearly intelligent enough if they wanted to be. Just normal nice people who enjoy being normal. I go a bit out of my way to hang out there once in awhile and I'm always glad that I did. read more

We were seriously so impressed with place. The tap room is a great size and is really well-lit with natural sunlight. Everyone was really friendly and we enjoyed the multiple dogs walking around. Tap list was solid and I was told rotates frequently. Free pretzels with the beer was a great touch since they don't serve food. The bottle selection for sale was also really great and I appreciate that they sold non alcoholic beverages to sober up with. We had such a great time and we will be back quite often. read more

Love coming into Tap That they always have great local craft beer on tap which changes daily. They also have fun events and deals like tap take overs where local breweries come down and take over the tap. They also provide a large variety of cold bottles for purchase. If you want to bring the party with you, they have jockey boxes and kegerators for rent and for purchase. The staff is very friendly and Travis & Kelly the owners are amazing. A great place to enjoy a selection of 20 draft beers from San Diego's finest breweries. They also have a large bottle collection of many more. Buy their logo pint glass and get a $1 off forever and 2$ off on Tuesdays. (You have to remember to bring the glass). They also just added wine to their menu for those who like the grape. They also sell beer retail bottles to kegs and have an entire kegerator and Jockey tap systems for sale and for rent with delivery and set-up. Best of all the owners are two great people. What a great company. I originally called for advise on how to fix my temp problem with my Kegerator, Travis was able to give me some options on how to fix the problems. I called a week later for them to install a two tower head and delivery two ballast point kegs. Travis was outstanding, he installed everything perfectly and my Kegerator has never poured so well.. These guys are awesome! We rented two double tap jockey boxes, kegs and champagne for our daughter's wedding. They delivered and set up the rigs, even showing us how to attach the home brew kegs they didn't provide. They gave us extra time to get the set ups back to them, which was a lifesaver. The service was excellent and the equipment was great. We had to move the jockey boxes around because we used them in 3 different locations over the course of the weekend, and we never had a problem gettin nice, cold beer! read more

Great bar with great beer and great people! Always an awesome beer selection on draft and in bottles. Trivia on Weds is great fun and they run specials throughout the week.
