I had no idea such a place existed until I really needed 40 feet of very specific plastic strips for the windows of our house. I called up Tap, told them what I was looking for, and they were able to recommend the perfect solution. Jack, the manager, is great - super helpful and friendly. He even cut a few sample pieces free of charge so I could take them home and get the sizing right. Once I placed the order, the pieces were cut and ready in no time. I stopped in to see about replacing a plastic lens in my shower for the light and Willow was helping me decide which product to go with. She was very knowledgeable. I happen to be on crutches, and she was very kind by offering me a chair to sit in while I waited for them to cut my piece and she was also very knowledgeable on the adhesive and silicone to attach the lens to the beauty ring after they had cut my peace, which was only about five minutes of waiting. She only charged me for the labor because they had the plastic laying around as scrap. I would recommend Tap Plastics to anyone with any type of need for acrylic or plastic or plexiglass they have a huge selection and everything you need to work with it Willow. SCAM!! Do not buy from this company. I ordered a single piece of plexiglass- not only did it get here a week late- it was also cracked. I sent them a picture of the cracked piece of plexiglass and instead of giving a single F*ck about their customer, they created this insane list of requirements to get a refund. They wanted the packaging it came with, which was obviously thrown away- because who would ever keep a soggy cardboard box that a broken piece of plexiglass came in. And then when I sent a 100% clear picture of the broken piece, Kisha- the worst customer service rep alive- said it looked like a clear piece of plexiglass. The entire image is black. I'll attach it below-note that I drilled a "stop hole" to keep the crack from spreading incase they were total A-holes which they were. And then only offered a 20% discount. Only a phony scam of a company would avoid accountability like this. Save your time and money and go somewhere else read more

I first came into this store to get a lucite stand cut down. They did a great job and then told me there would be no charge. Wow. Then I came back a week later and bought a large piece of museum grade, glare free plexiglass, cut to size for a picture that was being framed at a frame store. TAP Plastics has a product - poly carbonate plastic. I made the measurements for my space - a sewing station U shaped. In just a few days I had my new safer "carpet saver" poly carbonate in place! These guys are awesome. I needed a replacement window for my old Snugtop camper shell. Snugtop no longer made windows for this model. The glass was curved so none of the auto glass shops could provide one. The topper is an old Super Sport model, so the windows are frameless which means that to look good there can be no minor imperfections in the edges of the window. The Tigard TAP Plastics store made me one out of 1/8" acrylic. It had to be custom cut since two of the sides were also curved and none of the four corners had the same curvature. One of the gentlemen took the extra time to walk out to the truck with me to hold the finished piece up to opening to make sure it fit. If you need something made that takes extra care, this it the place to go. read more
