Flawlessly fabricated a set of custom trapezoidal sailboat hatch doors from .5" ballistic polycarbonate. Deeply knowledgeable professionals who collaborated with precise communication skills in the manner of trusted advisors. I've always believed that a company can/should be judged by the quality of its employees. As such, Tap is fortunate to have such great contributors to its longstanding success. I recommend them without hesitation.

    All done! Plastic worked perfectly!!

TAP Plastics went above and beyond for my lantern project making sure the plastic panels I needed were cut to the exact size and thickness I needed! Amazing crew here!

I love this place and always forget what a cool store this is. Had just made a tray over at Board and Brush and wanted to put a piece of acrylic on the bottom. The woman who helped me was quick and pleasant to work with. She did the measurements and suggest a curved edge so it is easier for me to lift the acrylic when needed. From the time of entering the store to out the door was less than 15 minutes. If you are into making molds or casts, they have a whole section with supplies. And a cool selection of small plastic lidded boxes. Great for storage.

3"x3" 1/16 ABS squares for trail markers.

We have been looking for a solution for mounting trail marker stickers and when I went into Tap Plastics the staff was so friendly and helpful. They suggested a very affordable option and custom cut the 3x3 squares we needed. The 100 cut squares were completed in the same afternoon. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was.

I have a unique collection of sand that has been a family tradition for 75 years. The containers are from TAP plastics. Why pay container store prices? In addition they make acrylic items to your design. I put a top on a found metal base and now have a cool piece of furniture. THe staff there is willing to talk through your project too. We were preparing for an upcoming funeral, and I needed help with an expensive gold frame I had purchased from Hobby Lobby. One of the corners had separated, and I wanted to know whether the framing department could repair or reinforce it. Because the frame was large and heavy, I left it in my trunk until I confirmed that someone could help. My mother-in-law waited nearby so she could rest while my daughter accompanied me to the framing counter. I approached the employee working in the framing department and asked if he could assist me. His first response was, "I'm off in six minutes - what do you need?" The tone immediately caught me off guard. As I began explaining that the corner of the frame had broken apart and needed reinforcement, he interrupted me and said, "Stop. Just hurry up and tell me what you need." I was surprised because I was simply trying to explain the issue so he could determine whether it was something the framing department could fix. I told him the frame was needed for a funeral and asked if it could be repaired. Instead of addressing my question, he asked why my husband couldn't fix it. I explained that my husband is currently deployed, so he wasn't available to help, and that while I would try to repair it myself if necessary, I also work full-time. His response was simply, "So do I." At that point, it was clear that helping me was not a priority. What made the interaction even more upsetting was that my 4-year-old daughter asked afterward, "Mommy, why was that man so mean? Why didn't he want to help us?" Hearing that from my child was heartbreaking. I told her that maybe he was having a difficult day because I wanted her to understand that we should still try to show kindness to others. I shared my experience with the manager, who told me that this employee often tells others how important it is to be friendly with customers. Unfortunately, that was not reflected in the interaction we experienced. Thankfully, we went to Ace Hardware afterward, where an employee immediately took the time to help us. He recommended reinforcing the frame with small metal corner brackets, nails, and gold spray paint. His advice worked perfectly, and we were able to save the frame in time for the funeral. This review isn't about expecting perfection. Everyone has stressful days. It's about the importance of treating people with basic courtesy and respect, especially when they may already be going through a difficult time. A little kindness can make all the difference. Unfortunately, that was missing from our experience at Hobby Lobby.

On occasion, they will have their giant inflated Pikachu right out in front of the little shopping center area, so you can't miss it when that happens. What do they sell here? Kind of a little bit of everything really. There's toys, plushies, video games, models, figures, and of course Pokemon cards along with other stuff. Lots of fun stuff for all, and for all ages too as they have quite a bit of retro stuff floating around here. The place does remind me quite a bit of the kind of set-up I would see in Japan and stuff, where display cases are all over, with stuff just sprawled out inside of them for people to look and peruse over. There really aren't too many of these places like this anywhere nowadays. Good nostalgia just from that perspective. Makes it fun. How is the pricing of everything? Actually reasonable for most things I saw here. There were some things that seemed to be fairly overpriced, but it was mainly for the rarer stuff which is understandable, but still pretty far over the market price elsewhere (online and such). But the general stuff sold here were all fair enough for a physical store. The service here, I actually didn't really interact with them much. While I was walking around the store I did hear customers converse with the staff and it seemed friendly enough, so I assume it's fine. They seemed eager to help when people walked up to the counter-adjacent areas, so there's that. Though I didn't walk out with anything the first time I visited the place, finally, I certainly almost wanted to grab something quite a few times as I was making my way through there. Will definitely be back at some point later.

Even a simple "Hi, we'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. My wife spent about 10 minutes browsing the showroom during one visit and we still were not approached. We ultimately left both times without speaking to anyone. We understand that some showrooms operate by appointment, and if that is the standard protocol, that is perfectly fine. However, a quick greeting, asking whether we had an appointment, or offering to schedule one would have created a very different experience. We did not have this issue at Golden State Lumber or Ashby Lumber, where we were promptly acknowledged and assisted. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will be moving forward elsewhere.
