Made a mini road trip get-away from NYC to visit Beacon, NY; and lodged in Fishkill. Instead of spending energy n money on drinks I went out n treated myself to what was really needed - a relaxing massage. Tao Spa graciously accepted walk-ins. I was grateful they were open late, as I hadn't decided until about 7:30 what to do that evening. I stayed at the Quality Inn, 5 minutes away, also recommended, so Tao is on your right coming from that direction. Park on opposite side of street from Tao- if you miss it, you have to make a right turn on Route 9 and make your way back with some U turns. Since I went after dark, this happened to me, so just sharing on parking situation. Otherwise, staff was accomodating, looks clean n decor n music is relaxing. I got the full body with foot massage - 70 minutes for $50. Would patronize them again if I am in the area. read more

My wife and I had the back and foot massage special. It was amazing! What a great deal. It was the perfect amount of time on the back rub and feet. The ambience is very nice, it's warm and relaxing. Our licensed therapist were skilled and friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

I bought a Groupon for a massage thinking it would be a reputable business, only to find out that they do not speak English and are not licensed. There were flimsy paper dividers to separate the tables within one big room. I felt awkward and uncomfortable. During my massage the masseuse got on the table and he was kneeling over me for half of it. Overall it was not a very relaxing experience, had loud music, phones ringing, customers and employees walking around. Don't think that this is a spa, more like a low budget place. read more

I love this place. I text them on their phone number and can get an appointment for the same day. The deep tissue massage has kept me pain free. The prices cannot be beat. I tried it a few times and then found one of the people I liked best. Now I request her and always get to see her. Where else can you get a fabulous deep tissue at such a reasonable price on the same day? Also, they are open until 10, so I can go after the kids get to bed and not have to rearrange my afternoon schedule, like at any other place. I would take off a half star (if it let me) for the lack of ambiance, but I think if they made it fancier, I'd have to pay more, so I don't really care. Once I am face down on the table, I don't think about what it looks like or what signs are there. I think there are guys that go there thinking they can get a "massage" from these women and don't think it's a reputable place, which is a shame because they know their stuff and shouldn't be put in that situation, ever! The signs and the not-so-solid partitions are there to protect the masseuses. The women don't speak English well, but that doesn't bother me at all. I don't want to be chatting away and I don't want them chatting away with me. When I am getting a massage there, it is quiet and peaceful. I go often. read more

Great service in a nice environment. Very calming with dim lights and soft spa music. Amazing combo foot and back massage at a reasonable price. read more

I made an appt for my husband for the advertised $40 one hour massage. The place is quiet, small and cozy. I had made sure that the massage would only be $40 but they charged him $45 after with no add-ons or special services. He was hoping it would be as good as the cheap massages he gets in Queens but he felt it couldve been better. Although the location is super convenient for us he said he probably wont go back. read more

I used a groupon for Tao Spa, it was a 60 min. massage for the price of a 30 min. one. It was hands down the worst massage I have ever received! Starting with the bad smell when I walked in, to the massage therapist dripping lotion on my neck and practically rubbing my back raw. When I would yell out in pain, she would giggle and put her head VERY close to mine and say sorry, so sorry. I got up and left after 30 minutes. This person could NOT have been a licensed therapist. Don't do it-you'll regret it. read more

Tao is very conveniently located and had a lot of people on staff so there was no wait. Everyone was also very friendly. My massage was ok but not the best I've ever had. It was mostly just rubbing up and down my back until it felt a little raw. There were actually points in wish I just wanted it to be over, and I have never felt that way about a massage before. The massage room was cluttered with stuff, almost like a storage room. There was a lot of commotion outside of the room and people in and out during my massage. Very odd. The prices are very reasonable but it did not match up to spa massages that I have had before. read more

Good experience, it was clean, cozy and the actual massage was well done. Only set back was the wait, put appointment was at 3 and called and confirmed it but we had to wait 20 minutes. I will definitely go back. read more

For the price you pay, it's wonderful. They were professional and initiative. If your looking for a simple massage that you can make same day appointments for, I'd say this is your place. read more

Great massage. Very friendly staff, very accommodating, and a very cute and clean location.

Had a great foot & back massage here. Sure it's not fancy, but for the price it was clean & well run. If you're concentrating on your massage, you can easily tune out the noise of running a business. Will go back. read more

I've been here three times in the past year or so. I have had an excellent massage each time. True that the ambiance here is not a focal point to a visit & true that communication can be a little difficult. However, for me, both ambiance & communication are sufficient enough to enjoy a really good massage at a very reasonable price. On my last, recent, visit, I asked for a deep tissue massage. I had a relatively painful "knot" beneath my left shoulder blade that I had intended to tell the masseuse about so she could focus on that area. Without my saying anything, she worked on that area for a good 20 minutes. She clearly knew that the area needed special attention. And so I give the place five stars because I go there specially for a good and reasonably priced massage and I get a five-star one. read more

I have been to the Tao Foot Spa several times and have always left feeling better than when I walked in. The people that work there are nice and do a great job with the foot and deep tissue massage. Would recommend this place to any locals in need of a good massage. The prices are great too. read more

Have been searching for a good massage place for a while. Finally I found it! Great price and friendly staffs. The massage was really good. I will definitely return to this place again. read more

Last minute visit for a massage. Place seems popular, however difficult to communicate with staff and questionable cleanliness.

$45 for an hour of deep tissue?? I cannot complain, I know as a fellow massage therapist at my job it's not cheap. The girl I had was so sweet, she didn't speak much english but checked in to make sure the pressure was ok and if I wanted more pressure or not. I was in such desperate need for a massage and I'm happy I was accommodated on such short notice. Definitely will be back since this place is local and affordable! read more

Excellent prices, clean and relaxing environment, thorough massage plus kind and smiley masseuse sets Tao apart from many other places. I will definitely be coming back regularly. read more

It's affordable and that's important.Great place when it's a rainy day you can really relax.

I have frequented many spas at five-star resorts but have never received the benefits I gained while under the care of Tao Foot Spa's outstanding and highly skilled staff. The tranquil environment and superb cleanliness will impress any visitor. If you are looking for an escape from this hectic and stressful world, look no further than Tao Foot Spa! Here you can forget your cares and walk away with relief from any aches and sores. Their pricing is unbeatable. I highly recommend a visit. You will NOT regret it! read more

First things first - don't come here expecting a spa. It's not a spa, rather a massage service. Meaning, there's not a ton of privacy, there's a lot of external noise like phones and people going in and out, the music is a bit too loud and jazzy. And, if you get the combo back and foot deal (great deal) know that you'll have to move to another table/room in the middle of the session because the back massage room is too small to access feet :) But, for the incredible rates, you can't beat the massage with just the right amount of pressure. This won't be a trancendental mind/body experience - but if you've got this kink in your back that has been bothering you or just need some knots worked out, this is the place. Won't take the place of my favorite masseuse (who's easily twice the price) but is a good hold over between visits to her. I'll definitely be back. read more

Absolutely fantastic massage! I got the 60 minute deep tissue massage (I like a strong massage) and this was hands down the best massage I have ever gotten. I feel like a whole new person and for such a reasonable price! If you want a good massage to work out all those knots and kinks this is your place. Don't go expecting a full spa experience with hot tubs and the like but you can absolutely set your massage expectations high! read more

Very relaxing, Chinese style Tui Na is the real thing, nothing beats it! Highly recommended. Foot massage is THE best!

At first, it did feel a little rushed as some people have mentioned, I honestly believe they are eager to work. Sophia gave me a great full body massage and foot message and I cane out feeling new. The only downside was I asked for a head message and she replied "ok" but never got around to it, later, I found out my lady friend received one without asking. I plan to return and try the other masseuse there until I find the perfect one. read more

I go there once a month more if I can Sophia, massage therapist, is great I had sore legs and back and her knowledge of tui na was very helpful. The other therapist are great also. You can't go wrong by going here for relaxation and help with sore muscles. read more

Bought a gift card for a family member here. The people who work here refused to honor the gift card two ears later. They said they have no proof it was purchased through them even though it has their company name and an employees signature on it. They refuse to honor the gift card! Terrible terrible business!!!!! Will never go here again!!! Never buy gift cards from this business!!! read more

I drove past, saw the sign, called and I was in the very next day. Great prices and great massage.

A terrific massage at an unbeatable price! Tao Foot Spa helped change my life with their effective yet gentle approach. If you're looking to escape the cares of the day and your aches and pains, this is the place for you! read more

They do not honor their gift certificates, and seem to have no understanding how rude it is to go back to the gift giver and ask them to 'show the charge on their credit card statement' as proof! read more

This was the best massage I've ever gotten and I'm absolutely blown away by the low cost. This is a hidden gem of a massage spa. The staff were as warm and friendly as could be and the deep tissue massage was finally firm enough. I've been to many places where I've left thinking... that was supposed to be deep tissue? Not this time. I highly recommend this spa. Plus, it's next to a frozen yogurt shop, which was fun to go to afterwards :) read more

It's great to have a place that you can walk into at the last minute to get a massage, great prices ok massage, not the best you will ever have, but it is only 40.00. You get what you pay for, my only real complaint would be that there is a sign up " please leave your underwear on" how ever I can't figure out why they have that sign up, they therapist PULLS DOWN YOUR UNDERWEAR, SO YOUR ASS IS COMPLETELY UNCOVERED. I have had many many massages and was always covered correctly. It's just weird when you get your underwear pulled down to under your butt cheeks, I felt like a bad kid that was going to get a spanking, eww. It would be better if you were just naked to start out with, get proper sheets not a damp towel and learn to cover your client correctly. read more

Very Disappointed. My wife made an appointment here Saturday morning. The appointment was for 2PM, around 12PM she received a text that we should come in at 1:45. So, we arrived at 1:45 as they requested and signed in. They told us to go sit outside and that they would come get us for the appointment at 2PM. I should mention that this past Saturday it was 90+ degrees and humid. Anyhow at 2:15 PM, I went back in to see what was going on, to which they replied - "we've been waiting and are ready NOW for you". Meanwhile they never came out to get us, and offered no apologies for the wait. We ended up walking out. In my opinion, this company needs a complete revamping of their customer service practices. read more
