    I entered your establishment at 5:45 today, Saturday. When I said I was there for a spray tan I was…read moretold I had to be there 45 minutes early in order to get one. I said, well, since you close at eight and it's only 5:45, I should be okay. She said the time is incorrect on the website and that I need to read the rules and hours on the door. I said I've been here several times at night and was not told I had to arrive 45 minutes before closing but even at that I was still one hour and fifteen minutes early. I said if it would help her out I wouldn't stay to dry off as I already had ordered a pizza and would leave quickly without drying off. She said....well, if the other girls choose to stay late to clean up fine, but I'm not staying and if you don't like it....tell the supervisor. Well, that's what I am doing. In my entire life I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner and I have also never sent a complaint to anyone! But this girl was the rudest person I've ever encounter in a business. The other girls have always been so sweet and kind and if I had been told I had to be there more than an hour and fifteen minutes early....I would have definitely cooperated. I do think it would be advisable to get the hours corrected on your website and also state the rules regarding spray tan.

    I'm extremely frustrated & disappointed in my experience with Malibu. We have used them for years,…read morebut will never use them again. Earlier this year I verbally cancelled my membership. The woman at the desk told me she would take care of the cancellation. Never did she say anything about requiring a written cancellation in order for it to be effective. Three months later I was told that I was behind three months of membership. I explained what had happened & was asked if I had proof. Of course I did not since it was verbal. They then turned the account over to collections. I once again disputed the charges in writing. Malibu came back & said that they would not waive the fees. In order to avoid this showing up on my credit report, & for that reason only, I finally paid the charges. At that time I again explained the situation & said that I strongly disputed the charges. In my mind, I did nothing wrong. I cancelled my membership & was told that it would be taken care of. I don't see it as my fault that their employee deviated from their rules. Additionally, our family does have another membership with them that had not been cancelled. It also had not been used in some time. So, Malibu has made a few hundred dollars off of that membership without having to perform. That should have been enough for them to believe my situation & waive the fees. That membership will now be cancelled as well. Any future business from our family will be taken elsewhere. We will also not recommend Malibu to any friends. This situation has resulted in a loss of revenue & unhappy customers. Poorly handled Malibu.
