I purchased a voucher or coupon through Groupon. I was nervous about going to a new salon. I love…read moremy old salon, but I wanted to try out other services in the area. I received two reminders via text leading up to the day of my appointment, which I appreciate. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and chic look of the salon. The front person welcomed me and notified the hairstylist I was there. I did not wait long. I met with hairstylist Natalie. She was great. I went in for a haircut, blow-dry, style, and conditioning treatment, but I also asked if she could touch up my roots and tone down my hair color. She looked at my hair, and we worked out a plan. Because I was asking for additional services, she was not able to do both, so I had to prioritize what I needed to be done first, which was my hair color. I should have told them over the phone about my additional service needs. As Natalie worked on my hair, she always kept me in the loop as to what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. I asked about the toner process which she explained, the science behind it. I learned something new. I also liked that she had a nice hair style for herself. I don't trust hairstylist who can not style their own hair. I was served some hot tea (I was given 3 options: tea, water, and wine I think). When it came down to styling my hair, she asked me what my preferences were. I walked away a satisfied customer. I will be returning to use my Groupon voucher later this month. I love my hair's outcome; now, I look forward to seeing how Natalie layers my hair. Stay tuned for more updates.

Definitely one of the local's places here with loyal customers; one of Virginia's regulars drives in weekly from Edwardsburg to have her hair done and she is 96. Devotion. If you are hung on décor, don't be; this place has charm and the ladies here are awesome. If I lived here I would probably add them into my hair styling rotation.

The conversation from the hair styling area from this one stylist is SOOOO LOUD. Today was just too much. It's not the topics of conversation-- I don't care, but she truly yelled like an NCAA cheerleader the whole time. Ugh. My nails are PERFECT as always, but my eyes are still bulging out of my head from the noise. Vibe is a 5 in the nail spot and a zero in the hair spot. It's only been open since the summer, but the owner (Jessica) has been doing hair for like 16+ years. She matched my hair color so well, even without having to bring out a color swatch...I was super impressed. Her and her associate even teamed up to get my hair color on pronto for even application (I have a lot of hair). Bonus for NOT over trimming my long hair, even though I know it wasn't her personal preference for me. The salon itself is cozy and has those little details that make your visit comfortable, like drinks, chocolates, a clean bathroom, and a purse hanger at every station!!
