After evaluating everything, he explained that the drain motor needed to be replaced. What I really appreciated was his honesty and attention to detail. He said he wanted to take care of it right away so we wouldn't have to call back a week later with the same issue. Andrew identified several reasons for my slow leak problem and explained to me why it happens and what he was going to resolve the issue. This is a stellar company! I called them after getting a quote from a different ac company I have a…read moremembership with (I'm not sure I can call them out by name but the company was *another generation*). Anthony was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and saved me $$$. Very amicable and kind, and I will only use this company going forward for any/all ac and heating issues or maintenance. I called Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning and one other ac company to get diagnostic and quotes, both beat the company I have a membership with, however, the other companies technician left after looking at my ac unit. The wiring was too confusing due to the motor being removed by my membership company and leaving it off at my request. Anthony was not intimidated by the schematics, and handled everything. My motor and contactor were replaced, and voltage communication corrected in just under 4 hours, that includes leaving to obtain the new motor. I wanted to communicate that not only is Anthony an amazing technician, but the man can troubleshoot, in contrast to the other company that also came out after *another generation.* I am confident that I have a trustworthy and knowledgeable company now which is a valuable asset in itself. My wife and I bought a home in Menifee a year ago. We noticed that the dryer was not drying as…read morewell as it had at our previous location. When a neighbor in our new neighborhood mentioned that several nearby homes had experienced dryer vent fires, we decided to get professional help to clean out the 15 foot long vent pipe which had been installed by the home builders. We contacted Southern California Dryer Vent Cleaning and they set an appointment to come out the next day. They arrived on schedule, and gave me a quote before starting. In the course of the cleaning they consulted with me on another potential issue. The self closing flap on the original vent hood was no longer functioning. That would allow access to rodents and small animals, an issue they frequently encounter. So in addition to cleaning the vent pipe, they also replaced the vent hood with a metal vent door that latches closed magnetically, preventing entry from rodents. They kept me informed throughout the process; sent me photos showing me what was taking place. They finished on time and cleaned up the materials that were removed from the vent pipe. We were pleased with the outcome and now we notice that the dryer is drying better than before. I recommend this service. It makes your dryer more effective, and brings you peace of mind.
