I bought my husband the Commander Package for Christmas and we finally made our way out here a few weekends ago. 10/10 experience, we had SO MUCH FUN! We booked the 10am reservation because we know Florida gets hot so we wanted to beat it as much as possible. There was a safety briefing and option to add anything on in advance, but you still have the option to keep going or add on different experiences while you're out driving. Instead of going into combat mode for our third round my husband decided to let me drive a lap. The guide was great in helping us how to drive the tank and when to make turns. Would absolutely recommend this activity!

So we came here for my birthday as my wife surprised me. We drove up and right away you can see the tanks and acp etc. We walked in and met the staff. Everyone is a marine. They made that very clear. We then moved to a room where the guy gave us the talk. We then watched a 20 min video. We then met the lead guy for the tank and jumped right in. I drove the tank and my wife and friend sat behind. I drove two laps and honestly did real well. It was a great experience and recommend others to do it. I would come back for another go.

My mom and I were supposed to go alligator hunting but the guide lost an arm about 10 days before our reservation. So we crushed a car!

My mom and I were supposed to go alligator hunting but when the guide lost his arm a week before our reservation. This was the next best choice! Had a blast! Thanks - Oorah

The other day my husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary , I seen a billboard for Tank America !! We had a blast (they also offer military discount) hubby and I met on the same ship 20 years ago! I totally recommend this place.

This is a must do! What a great venture to give everyday people the opportunity to do what our military does! Everyone at Tank America was incredible! Beginning with John who followed up with me for almost 3 months while I was able to finally coordinate a date. He gave me the perfect itinerary for our family of 5, strongly recommend the full mile, even 2! Brandon was incredibly welcoming and funny! He gave us all the proper instructions to make sure we knew what we were doing and made us feel safe. Cameron was our guide for the ride, he was phenomenal!!! He made sure my son felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire drive and assured my 6 year old and I were safe (as passengers). My husband drove the other tank, while my other son was a passenger. The location is so well set up, organized and very clean! Gotta love our Marines! Strongly recommend bringing cash to leave a well earned tip for these veterans who served our country and for the commendable work they are doing at Tank America. Truly an unforgettable experience, we can't wait to come back!

This was a pretty cool activity with friendly staff. The tanks were huge and was super fun watching them run over the cars. Bathrooms were super clean and the interior had an army vibe that elevated the venue. One of the employees explained to me how the tanks are able to be driven on regular roads because the they had been redesigned. She explained the cost and it was just a pleasure to have such an informative conversation. They close the venue for private events and let me just say, this is a cool thing to do.

WTF do I really have to say... you get to drive a f'n tank!!!!! For real a tank! What a great time this was. The entire staff was amazing! These marines know how to make sure you have a good time and they are all super nice, accommodating, and too good of salespeople. They know how to get your money and they aint shy about it, lol. But in the end it was worth it. Its an experience most will never get to do. I wish it were cheaper so i could go back and do it again. Did i mention you actually drive a flipping tank!

Absolutely awesome- this was an incredibly awesome experience. My husband booked this for our sons birthday, and we went with three adults and one child. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and being the only woman of the group my expectations were not super high about the whole experience. our guides were Amelia and Justin, and it was an absolute blast! There is about a 30 minute "debriefing" where you have a fun introduction to the experience, the course, the history and mechanics of the fleet of tanks, and the driver gets the nuts and bolts on how to drive the tank. We then went out, and it was easy to get in and out of the passenger area of the tank, and my husband had an absolute blast driving the tank. They have video footage of the entire experience from all angles and my husband had me drive the last lap and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. The guides were amazing, kind and patient and you can just tell that everyone there loves their job and what they are doing. We will definitely do this again, and I highly recommend it for anyone who is at all interested in the military or who just wants to drive a tank! The history of the tanks was really interesting, and I couldn't help but think of all of the servicemen and women who were in the same vehicle under very different circumstances, and have a deep respect for those soldiers. A definite must do for any family traveling to the Orlando area!

A group of us came to Tank America to celebrate a bachelor party. The groom was our driver and several members of our party rode as passengers. Kevin and Sean were awesome! Kevin was super friendly and informative. I learned a lot from him. Sean was the tank commander and everyone had a great time with him as well. They really took their time with us, made sure we got lots of pictures, and encouraged everyone to have lots of fun. One of our group members even decided to do a lap of his own as a driver! Everyone had a really good time. Our drivers were a bit dirty after their laps so we decided to skip laser tag. The laser tag looked like a lot of fun though so I'd love to go back to try it. If you want a unique experience that's fun for a group, you should definitely check out Tank America!

I also liked that there's no entry fee for non-riders and you can purchase rides à la carte. I ended up paying $12 for a go-kart ride and LOVED it We got there around 12 PM and it wasn't crowded at all. The lines were super short, so the students were able to ride things 3-4 times with no problem, which made it even more worth it. One of the best deals was the all day dining pass (you have to buy it online). For $24, you get 2 meals and a snack, which is a steal compared to the regular menu prices. Our first stop was Cluckees where we had tenders, wings, and fries. The portions were HUGE and everything was tasty, especially the fries. None of us could even finish our food! For our snack, we grabbed ice cream. The kids loved it, but it wasn't my favorite. Later, we went back to Cluckees for a chicken sandwich and fries for dinner. This time it wasn't as good as earlier. Maybe a different cook or just an off moment. We didn't spend time in the arcade and stayed mostly outside. The park is a pretty decent size with plenty to do. Even as the day went on and traffic picked up, it never felt overly packed. The staff was friendly and very laid back, which added to the relaxed vibe of the day. Overall, it was a good experience. The kids really enjoyed it. I'd give it a 3.5. Btw I think there is a bee problem there. I saw bees flying around often. Not enough to ruin the experience, but I definitely noticed them.

We had a beautiful day to visit and smiled throughout the day. Some of our best moments were walking through the various city streets and seeing musical performances and dancing. The walkways were wide and we were never on top of other guests. Most rides had reasonable wait times and/or offered single rider options. The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. My only downside to Universal Studios is that some of the themes felt outdated or just aren't favorite characters of mine. At least this helped to decrease the temptation of spending money on apparel or merchandise.

(I haven't seen a single one of those movies either!) I'm much more a fan of roller coasters than motion simulators so I like Islands of Adventure a good deal more than USF. I also like the theming more, apart from the Springfield area and Diagon Alley. The whole studio backlot/cityscape isn't as interesting to me. It's still a pleasant looking park though. The layout seems more confusing than IOA which is really straightforward and simple. Maybe part of it is this was my maiden voyage to USF while I'd been to IOA once before but there's just more nooks and crannies here. I've done reviews for most of the major rides and Diagon Alley. Simpsons and Transformers are elite, E.T. is a wonderful blast of nostalgia and weirdness we must protect at all costs, Escape from Gringotts is way overrated even if the queue theming and preshow is superb, I got no love for Jimmy Fallon or his stupid ride, the indoor Mummy coaster is surprisingly good still leaves this park's coaster lineup lagging way behind its neighbors, Men in Black is okay but not worth waiting in a long line for and the Minions shooter game was a quick diversion I never even bothered to do a review for. I'm just seeing we missed another Minions ride, a motion simulator. It was such a whirlwind of queues with almost no wait I guess it was easy to miss one. The Blues Brothers musical revue was an absolute blast with an awesome setting. And the Mardi Gras parade wrapped itself around the city streets around the diner where my sister and I ate dinner with us looking out the window and had parade to spare both before and after our meal! It went on for over half an hour. Universal didn't chintz out on that at all. Cast members, floats and flying beads aplenty. There were more shows, too, with stuff like behind the scenes on how Hollywood does makeup, stuff like that. We skipped these but stuff like this is why I wish I'd gotten my parents to this park before they passed. They'd have loved stuff like that, the Blues Brothers and the Hogwarts express. They seemed to like Islands of Adventure okay but I think they'd have liked this park considerably more. The theming, too, I think they'd have enjoyed more. This park closed a couple hours early on the weekday we visited, booked by some high rollers for a private event so we ended our day where we started at Islands of Adventure. And though I like that park more, with a Fast and Furious coaster on the way to USF I think I'd be more eager to return here and ride that and spend more time exploring and soaking in the vibes at this park.

If this had been our first Disney cruise, I'm not sure that I would rush out and do another one, truth be told. On our previous cruises, everyone we encountered on the staff, from the Check In crew at the port to the stewards, to the random Cast Members we would come across around the ship, was friendly and welcoming. Here the staff seemed harried and tired, like we caught them at the end of a very tough shift and they had nothing left to give. While the food was still excellent, the service was not at the same level as our previous cruises. We simply adored our dining teams on the Magic and the Dream; taking pictures with them at the end of the cruise. This time, with Jonathan and Carlos, it was very transactional. There was no connection or anything engaging with the team. They were certainly pleasant but the Disney magic was lacking. Our room steward, Arawan, was efficient, but I only ever saw him twice: Shortly after we boarded and the last night of the cruise when we were preparing our luggage for disembarkation. He certainly kept the room clean, so I do appreciate that! However I noticed some things, maintenance-wise in the room that displayed a lack of Disney's attention to detail, such as some rust spots in the bathroom. I would expect that from Norwegian, but definitely not from Disney. One night at the hot tub there was a guy openly vaping and staff only came over to tell him the hot tub was closing, not that he could not smoke in this area of the boat. At some of the trivias in the various entertainment venues, we either got inundated with offers for drinks or completely ignored, there was no in-between! In addition, staff broke my husband's luggage. Points to them for trying to fix it and sending an apology basket, but now that we are back on land, he has to spend time and energy filing a claim for the damage and going through that whole process. Hopefully we recapture the magic on our next Disney cruise, as the Fantasy is my least favorite of our cruises so far.

I couldn't believe how short the waits were here. Sadly, that's where the excellence ends. I mean, Mine Kart Madness is fun, but it's not worth the typical 60-minute wait. Monsters Unchained is visually stunning, but not all that exciting or scary. And several rides are dogs, including Bowser's Challenge, Yoshi's Adventure, and Fyre Drill. Overall, I'd say that the park designers did very well creating the atmosphere of the various worlds. But more attention needed to be given to the rides.
