Noemi promised cleaning top to bottom and every knock and cranny. She talked about a "ghost buster vacuum" and would vacuum the top of our cabinets and hutches. The company sent me a contract that listed what they would do. In the contract the utility room was listed. The crew of 5 cleaned the light fixtures, dusted the furniture, cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen and mopped the floors. When the crew finished and left, I checked their work. The top of the cabinets weren't vacuumed, the top of door jams were dirty, top of hutches dusty, top of curtain rods dusty, under the couch cushions full of debris. And the utility room wasn't touched. I called Noemi to express my concerns and after several attempts I got through. When I expressed my concerns Noemi said that couches aren't covered in the cleaning and utility room cleaning wasn't an oversight. She only admitted to not vacuuming the cabinets after I told her I had gotten up there to check. Overall, the crew did a fair job cleaning, but they didn't deliver on the deep cleaning top to bottom every knock and cranny. They also had poor customer service when any concerns were voiced. I also questioned the company's ethics by not honoring the items on the contract. Had I not gotten on the ladder and checked the tops of furniture and cabinets I would have believe that they cleaned it. They were willing to get paid for work not done. After all the back and forth, they first said they would send a crew to finish the work. Then there was a medical emergency and they couldn't send anyone. A few days later, I get and email from them that because I was"hostile" they would give me a discount if $100, which I never asked for a discount, but not going to send anyone to finish the work. In my experience, they promised a lot but did not deliver. They don't stand by their work or their contract.

We have not done any "work" post move in and did not move in any large items or appliances. My expectations were for them to mop floors, dust, wipe out cabinets, clean toilets and showers... etc. We moved in less than 2 weeks later and started noticing places that were obviously untouched. Not the result of the house "not being lived in". The cabinets were obviously not wiped out, as I found rusty nails along with dust, dirt, crumbs and other debris. Our dishwasher has nasty stuff in it while we have not had a meal in this house. I found that our guest shower/bathtub had not been touched- our master bathroom shower has soap scum that could not have accumulated over the house being vacant / our less than a week of living here. I wish I would have taken more photos of how truly ridiculous it was. Honestly I could have let it go and not used the service again, but the dismissive nature of the text we received when voicing our concerns inspired me to write this review. I did stop by while they were cleaning, and I did ask the girl who was putting elbow grease into cleaning our laundry room sink to please not worry about scrubbing it too hard because we are getting rid of it in a few months, but to please clean it. And secondly it was for, as the reply from the vendor states correctly, a deep clean not a recurring cleaning every month so the comment I made about purposely inflating the cost and not wanting the work was a mistake on my part. As it turned out their quote was only $140 higher than the company we went with. Their monthly quote was about $150 higher than the company we went with. These differences most likely have to do with their fixed costs of doing the job to their standards. I apologize to Cotton Brothers for my mistake. I am revising the review rating to four stars but as you can see it still shows 5 stars. And here's why: They still lose a star for their higher prices in a competitive business. That said I am also adding back that fifth star because they took the time and followed up, had kept their quote and if we weren't on a strict budget would most likely have accepted this offer just because they sincerely want to grow their business, have the confidence to push back and have the facts to back it up. They ask for a priority list. I check in with the two cleaners (Deara & Maria), both say they think they will finish and "the home is pretty clean." They reassure me they will get through my priority list and finish the clean. I offered to pay for more time if needed and they declined. When they left I come home hoping to begin unpacking.. and the house and my priority list was barely touched. It was as if they wanted to SEEM like they did the work. I contacted the manager (Nela?) and Maria also discussed the areas she cleaned versus her partner. Both apologized and said they probably had an off day, she'd send one of them back the following day. Maria returns and is there for a short time. Maybe 30 minutes. I am there during this time frame outside the house. I asked prior if I should talk with her or anything else for clarity, I was assured that I didn't need to. She leaves and I come in to my kitchen drawers being wet and presumably the same exact way. Dried food in and on the cabinets, mold, dust/hair, toothpaste or something, dead bugs and dirt, spilled drinks on baseboards, and unclean high traffic areas like light switches and doors. She had told her supervisor the prior day, the dirt was painted over so it didn't come off. She also told me she "touched everything." Her pictures only showed things from far view, and she only sent photos of the two windows open that were cleaned the day before by her partner already - weird right? None of the windows were cleaned still. Then, I'm told on the 3rd time and try by the supervisor rather than her long time and usually dutiful cleaners that they don't clean windows? And also that, she is SO sorry and insinuates my realtor said the house was only dusty and that she could come and see IF the food and dried stuff on the cabinets and appliances could be cleaned because they don't scrape things off or anything, they don't want to damage stuff. What are you hired for then? Even the dusting wasn't done?Wipe down was a wet rag that left my drawers sopping for the photo. Nothing that required a seconds thought was given any time or detail.
