3 Stars for the shops/5 Stars for the Parking…read more To be honest, I mostly come to SkyView for parking; not necessarily for shopping. Their parking rates, even though they keep raising the rates, are still the most reasonable rates in Flushing. When I first started parking here, the rates were $3/3 hrs (what a steal!!)....they are now $6/3hrs, but still great rates! They also offer special rates if parking for the Mets Games. I wish they'd fix their pay stations though! Currently, you can only pay when you exit on the ground floor. They lines to exit sometimes get backed up because ppl can't seem to figure out how to pay....go figure! The shops: Is it me, or are they losing a lot of stores? Their anchor stores (BJs, Target, Sky foods) remain the same but some of the retail stores seem to close abruptly.

It's filled with mom-and-pop shops that truly have THE best deals on everything from phone cases to women's clothing, ear piercings, jewelry, tattoos, and more. K&K Gifts, the electronics/smartphone accessory store located toward the back of the mall, has been my go-to phone case/screen protector store ever since it opened in 2020 -- and before that, I had been going to Lazy Bee, the smartphone accessory store at Busy Mall pre-COVID, for as long as I can remember. Today, I happened to be in Flushing with some friends for lunch, and I got a new screen protector for $3, a new case for $5, and a new phone wallet for $3 from K&K. Such an insane deal!! I haven't been personally, but I've heard that Sam's Silver Image is super popular for piercings. Would recommend checking them out if you're looking for a reputable place to get one. All in all, if you haven't stopped by Busy Mall after stuffing your face with delicious Flushing soup dumplings or K-BBQ for lunch, I'd totally recommend you stop by next time you're around. You won't regret it!!

I've been coming here for YEARSSSS!…read more Over the years, I've seen so many changes. Several stores have closed and been replaced by new ones. The food court is located on the lower level, and it's very spacious, with a great variety of food options. The mall is pretty big, stretching from west to east. You can easily walk from one end to the other without stepping outside, as long as you stay on the upper floors. Parking is a bit of a nightmare! And while getting an Uber is usually quick, make sure you know exactly where your pickup point is because that can get a little chaotic, too. If you're trying to avoid crowds and teenagers after school, I wouldn't recommend coming during those hours. The mall gets packed with kids once school lets out, and weekends can be just as crowded. My recommendation? If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed shopping experience, come in the morning. You'll thank me later!

The sign let me know that Best Northern Dumpling had moved there, so I wondered what else could be inside. Was this another food court? In the middle of the plaza (a long hall really) was good Ol' Best Northern, it was comforting to see the same menu, like seeing an old friend. We enjoyed some fluffly veggie buns here, as they were out of most other things. At the end of the hall was a stall with zero English posted anywhere and zero English spoken. I didn't want to give up, because the little pork wontons being made looked so good, so after several minutes, I got them to serve me something. I just wasn't sure what.... For $3 I got a boiling hot (no, really, I burnt my mouth badly) cup of pork wonton soup. The wontons with their silken wrappers and slightly sweet pork contents were the star, though the delicate broth was impressive too. And they don't cheap out on the wontons, the soup was full of them. There is a bit of a timing issue here though, you want to let the soup cool, but as you wait the wonton skins slowly disintegrate. The proper gobble method must be a skill learned with practice.

Even though the place is a short walk from the Roosevelt Ave station, the place wasn't busy, and I said that the restaurant wouldn't last a year or two. Sadly, Mister Hotpot closed down shortly after my visit. I feel that the idea of an eatery mall wouldn't work as competition is strife. It would make sense to expand from an eatery mall to a mixed commercial mall, where there are medical offices, appreal shops, and pet shops.
