This is an unexpected gem in Sandpoint! On a Fourth of July weekend when most restaurants are disappointingly closed, we ate here a couple of times (thank you for being open! ). Located in the courtyard of the Umpqua Bank building, you'd expect average food, catering to the surrounding businesses. We all agreed it was the best food we ate all weekend! I had this fantastic bagel sandwich, which was a special. It was messy as hell so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife, but it was so delicious! My parents had the special Tuscan scramble, which they also said was delicious and flavorful. We also got the chicken curry salad to go. This was fantastic, as well. Where else can you be downtown Sandpoint and sit by a waterfall for lunch!? The ahi tuna sandwich was the best my husband had ever had (and he's enjoyed a lot of ahi!). And the chili was also . A great breakfast stop. The room is really pleasant, in the large lobby of a business building. Quiet, plenty of space and relaxed. The menu was very good...substantive choices, but not the usual heavy, often pretty greasy, preparations for egg and related breakfast dishes. We really enjoyed our scramble and omelet. And Evans coffee. Final, the staff were very nice....we will be back. read more

This place is amazing. The scenery is beautiful, the people are so nice and the food is to die for. I will be returning very soon. I recommend the meat lovers omelet, or the Colorado burrito. I was looking for a good lunch/sandwich/salad place to bring a group of 10 after a long day of skiing- we were hungry! This place is awesome! Kind of hard to find as it's inside an office building but it totally impressed me. My whole group was happy with the choices and their orders. I had the burger with a cup of pumpkin bisque- so yummy!! The burger was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly & fast. They were surprised to see a big group come in but handled it with ease. This place has the best food in town! A great all day Cafe-breakfast or lunch with a great variety. You can also get to-go deli style salads, & pastries. The owner & staff are seriously the best- so friendly & helpful. The staff go out of there way to remember your details- your name etc. Always making you feel very at home. Just had a bowl of the best soup I have ever had. Awesome place to relax in sandpoint nice rock pond in side a big bank building. All home made dessert better than any starbucks thats for sure. I used to love going there. Food still high quality with friendly staff. Problem is; prices went up (they denied it, but I ordered one of two things every trip...went UP) and quantity went down, (again denied), so if you have plenty of money and not terribly hungry, the food IS GOOD. read more

This is the best kept secret in Sandpoint. We love their food soooo much we had them cater a party and it was absolutely outstanding. Our friends raved. This spot is great! The salads are fresh and fantastic (I especially enjoy the chicken curry salad and the cranberry Walnut). I have enjoyed lunch here while passing through Sandpoint, as well as used them several times for larger lunch orders. My order is always ready when they say it will be, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Being in the lobby of a large bank building, this cafe could be easily forgotten. And it was for our family. It took us over 2 years to finally make our first visit. My son and I stopped in after a recent dentist appointment. And were we glad we did. Everything was delicious. They serve Evans Brothers coffee (our family favorite). But the food was worth writing home about. Since I'm not away from home, I thought Yelp the perfect place to submit my rave. The Colorado breakfast burrito with tender pulled pork was TO DIE FOR! After stuffing ourselves with the burrito, we decided we still had room for a Huckleberry Muffin. And were we glad we did! It was crusty on the outside and gooey on the inside. So good that I might have to get in my car and go get one right now! Both the burrito and the muffin will go down in my book as the best I've ever had!
