The variety of stores, restuarants, and the movie theatre are a plus. The ice skating rink and holiday decorations are beautiful. I found that the prices here are higher than Riverhead. The polo ralph lauren shop had discount signs in front of items that were not discounted. So a sign would read 50% off select oxfords but none of the shirts on the table with the sign were discounted 50%. So I was overcharged for 2 items in 2 differnt areas of the store. The non discounted items rang up correctly. The register is not visible either,so you cannot watch the sale being rung up.you can only catch the error after you receive your receipt and have paid. Alittle too dishonest for my liking.BUYER BEWARE HERE? The prices at the jockey store are more expensive then Macy's or Bloomingdales. Pay attention when you are being rung up at old navy and the gap too. Carters was a great honest reasonably priced visit. Love Johnny rockets, the singing staff can even put a smile on the face of a grinch. All in all I would suggest traveling the extra 10 exits to Riverhead for price, variety and service. If you want to window shop, enjoy a movie or burger, have the kids ice skate outsdoors , deerpark is your place. Millers across the parking lot near Christmas TRee SHop is a place to watch a game, have some ribs and a beer and end the day. read more

Tanger provides excellent access to the more upscale companies. The customer service office is polite and professional. The maps for locating stores are strategically placed in order to be accessible and convenient to shoppers. The coupon offers are an additional bonus. Love the Regal Theater and parking is always convenient. I was disappointed to see the Italian restaurant was no longer there. I would like to see a more upscale eatery there as not everyone is a fast food consumer. In addition, I think an excellent service that might be offered would be to provide a child care service. Perhaps an outside, already established business could be recruited to set up a location there in order to avoid the expense of licensing and insurance. Other than those two suggestions, it is a pleasurable experience to visit and shop at Tanger. read more

We were at Tanger in Deer park on New Years Day. The mall was open and ready for business. All Stores had ample help and they were falling all over us because the place was empty. We were there at 10AM. We picked up a coupon book because we are AAA members and the deals in the book are very poor. If you want to give a book, make it worth while. Anyway the stores were well stocked and beautifully displayed. There sales however were poor. There was absolutely nothing that we saw, and we went to almost every store in that mall, that was offering a price lower than you can get on line or in another store. In general this is a good place to shop but, you have to be careful. There is a lot of items to buy but the pricing is generally not as good a deal as you may think. read more

I absolutely love going to Deer Park Outlet, it's always a great experience! Went with son and niece. The selection is amazing, with a wide variety of stores offering everything from clothing and shoes to home goods and accessories. No matter what I'm shopping for, I can always find great options at really good prices. The layout is easy to navigate, and everything is clean and well maintained, which makes the whole trip enjoyable and stress free. What really keeps me coming back is the consistent atmosphere and the great deals, friendly staff, and plenty of options for food and breaks in between shopping. Whether I'm browsing or on a mission to find something specific, I always end up leaving happy. Highly recommend for a fun and productive shopping day! read more

Not ideal. They have a good list of stores, but I never find the directory or way finding that helpful. They also have shopper services (where you can get a map and coupon booklet if you're a tanger member) towards the back and out of the way. It is designed so that you have to pass through most of the stores in order to get there and get back - of course they want you to shop more, so from that perspective I understand the rationale, but it does not make for a convenient layout or ease of shopping. The parking is not great either. They do have a lot of bathrooms, however, and some overhead ceilings (it was raining out when I was there), which can help since outdoors. read more

Tanger Outlet in Deer Park is always a pleasant experience. I am not a weekend shopper, but weekdays this outlet is a pleasure. There are many popular stores, such as Christmas Tree Shops, Nike, Addidas, Coach, Uggs, and Kate Spade. Be advised that not all stores have coupons in the coupon book, but those that do, offer great savings. I was able to purchase a handbag and wallet valued at $583 for only $199 using coupons and in store sales at Kate Spade. Wish they would add a Williams-Sonoma Outlet, Yankee Candle Outlet and a Under Armor and we'd be set! For those who travel by car from Nassau county or the city, great outlet shopping much closer to home. read more

I arrived at the outlet center at opening on a Sunday. Parking was not a problem. It was a beautiful day and walking through the outlet center was like walking through a cute little town. The first shop I visited was NYDJ. The staff was fantastic. I then visited The Children's Place, Justice and, of course, no visit would be complete without stopping at Ann Taylor. It took a lot of willpower to not visit Coach on that particular day. (Next time) Each store had a great selection of merchandise. I can't say enough about the staff in each store. They were extremely pleasant and helpful. I will be back soon to work on my Christmas shopping list. read more

I have written to the company of Tanger several times. They only have one spot where there are people in customer service. It is closest to Grand Boulevard. They should have another spot located on the other side of Tanger outlet for those of us that shop there. In order for me to pick up a coupon book I have to park first on one side then drive to the other side where I want to shop. Also, why have a coupon book? Why can't each store have a little sticker on their window with the discount that's in the book? We show our at check out to get the discount. That will illiminate tons of books being thrown out. It is such a waste of paper. read more

Always have a great experience. Movie theater clean and convenient. Stores usually have good sales. Several choices for quick places to eat. My husband and I enjoy walking around in the pleasant, well kept atmosphere. We eat at the tables outside and enjoy the good weather in summer and we visit the Christmas tree and watch the ice skaters during the winter/holiday season. Join Tanger Club and get free coupon books every time you visit. Wish more stores were actual outlet stores, rather than just retail stores. Overhead awnings only partially shield you from rain. Overall, our favorite place to shop and go to the movies. read more

Always have the best shopping experience at Tanger outlet @ Deer Park which is only 15 min drive from me. My favorite stores are Coach, Kate Spade, Tomy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and many more. I wish Deer Park has Michael Kors outlet. If I want to shop for MK bags I have to go to Riverhead which takes an hour drive. I'm a happy tanger club member because every now and then Tanger gives out $20 gift card to first 250 customers. They also send Birthday $15 off coupons from different stores. Tanger rewards system is kind of cool as well. I am so blessed to have Tanger outlet in my neighborhood!! read more

Ran out to Tanger Outlet in Deer Park from Queens to visit the Coach store. They were great. I called ahead to check they had the item I was looking for and since they only had 3 left they held it aside for me to pick up. They had my item waiting for me and even though this was a holiday weekend the lines weren't too bad. There were many sales and everyone in my shopping pack got some great buys on things we weren't even looking for. Found some new shops that had unique things. Of course a trip here wouldn't be complete without a stop in Christmas Tree Shop. read more

I live in Farmingdale and go to Tanger almost every weekend. Tanger has some of my favorite outlets, ie. Ann Taylor, Chicos, Talbots, Kate Spade, etc. Sometimes I go there to shop, but often I just go there to walk and enjoy the beautiful mall and enjoy the atmosphere. In the winter I like to take a break from shopping and watch the ice skaters. In the summer I like to get a coffee at Starbucks, sit on a bench and relax, then resume my shopping. Shopping here is so much more relaxing that shopping at a local mall...and the prices are much better. read more

I have to say, now I understand why just about every person in this outlet think that they are doing you a favor. I've have had the great displeasure of meeting the CEO of this disaster of an outlet. This woman thinks because she is in south hampton that everyone needs to kneel down to her. That if she makes a scene , that everyone will give her what she wants. She is a disrespectful and disgusting. I've never met such a horrible person in my life. I would never support anything that she is associated with and urge others to do the same. read more

It was my first time to Tanger Outlets at Deer Park, and I was impressed with how nice it was. It was clean and the stores were not crowded, making my shopping experience more enjoyable than my experiences at other outlets. It is a more convenient one-stop shop for the holidays as it was only about a 45-minute drive from Queens. This place had a good variety of shops for different kinds of costumers. I was surprised to see there was a movie theater, which gave it a mall-like atmosphere. I would return to this outlet in the near future. read more

This place is the best. Not only you get the best mall experience but in the summer it rocks. Enjoy your day with movies and some ice cream or shop your heart out. Either way you won't be disappointed with the variation of stores. From kiosks to Aunt Annie's pretzels you will find everything to forget your daily hassles. Visit there anytime and you will find what you are looking for. Good deals and you can also fine coupons exclusive for tanger outlet members and receive discounts as much as 20 percent. read more

My experience in Adidas store was very disappointing. The store looked out of order (and it was a morning!). One of the young women at the register was rude, imitated what I said to other 2, and all giggles. I bought the pair I chose, but left the store disrespected and humiliated. I returned right after to return the shoes. All 3 at the registers knew why, but did not apologized. There are multiple security guards, who also witnessed this "customer service" and did not do anything. read more

I always shop at Deer Park and happy with store selections. I had especially liked the bonus of the multi tier shopping rewards you had given in the past when you shopped certain levels. Not happy with new rewards. From the highest tier of $2,000 you extended to $2,500. And at levels of $500 and $1,000, you gave $10 Tanger gift cards or gift cards to one of the stores within the outlet. Now it is a percentage off certain stores. I think you should re-think that program. read more

Yeah definitely dig coming here. They have a lot of great stores to shop at and a movie theatre that is one of my favorites. DO NOT COME during holiday season. Place gets packed out and it is nuts. Prices are a little higher than most but they have tons of stores for guys and girls and even kids. However when it comes to christmas they do have a sick tree shop to come and visit. They have literally everything. You can eat here as well . I highly recommend checking it out read more

The Tanger Outlet is more convenient than the one located in Riverhead but the layout can get quite confusing. You seem to do more walking around to find locations than actually shopping. the stores themselves seem to carry merchandise that is not found in stores and I found the quality of most to be below par, especially in the children's stores. I was disappointed in what was available and the prices seemed to be more like department stores rather than outlets. read more
