What a waste of time and huge disappointment. The prices at this outlet were higher than regular retail.

I always wanted to try out Tanger Outlets.but the closest one was in Riverhead So I was glad they built the Tanger Outlet in Deer Park at the arches. It's a great place to shop with a variety of stores . They have upscale stores candy shops and Multiplex movie theater It's like shopping at the mall except that you have to go outside to go to a different store which is great because they have beautiful flower beds and water fountain and a lot of things to look at There was also plenty of free parking and a lot of nice restaurants and places to eat around there like Miller Ale House and Joe's Crab Shack So if you're in the area give them a try I know you will like it plenty of fresh air and sunshine read more

Enjoy coming here, I'm only 15 mins away. Just don't go during the holiday season trust me. Weekday best time for obvious reason

Big outlet mall but sadly many shopS are closed. There are still the very popular brands. Came on a Friday night after Christmas and it seemed dead. Maybe because it was very cold. I'm not sure. read more

Unless your into high priced clothing the visit to Tanger is kinda dull. There are almost no other type of stores. (A few are Bose, Le' Gourmet Chef, a Golf store and The Christmas Tree Store.) Parking is much easier than in Riverhead. All of the cars are much closer to the outlet stores. The center itself is brand new and very attractive. Since it has opened a few more food establishments have appeared such as Johnny Rockets and Nathans. Many stores still remain vacant as of this review. In winter months the walkways tend to pick up and amplify wind gusts so be sure to dress very warm. There is a very nice ice skating rink in the middle of the center during the holidays. Ample bathrooms though many are not very big. read more

I love going to Tanger Outlets. It has so many good places to go to and the atmosphere is nice. I love that it Doesn't feel as cramp as a mall would feel like. There's enough space for a group of people to walk with quite a few bags in each hand. I also love the fact that it has a theatre in it too. read more

It's the best outlet in Long Island that was built few years back and highly recommend coming here for many amenities like surplex of stores, restaurants and nicely designed Regal Cinema with stadium seating They have a one time fee for their membership that it's a must have, you get the VIP coupon book complimentary with every visit. Recommend downloading their app which you can upload any receipts from store purchases throughout your shopping day to keep track of points accumulated. Also you can pull any outlet store coupon within the app to use in the stores Last tip, those who purchased being a VIP member...visit shopper services and take advantage of the Regal Cinema Movie Ticket Package (comes with two movie tickets and $5 concession gift card) for $25 read more

Yankee Candle. I guess you have to be of a certain color to get service. I got completely ignored as I walked past 3 Caucasian store employees talking about personal business. I'm African American obviously, they asked the two Caucasian customers twice if they needed assistance. I had to asked for assistance from them, and yes they looked at me like I was bothering them. Last time I go there. read more

I love the Tanger Outlets. There is a splendid selection of stores (some of my faves are the Nike Factory Outlet, the Christmas Tree Shop, and Rue21). And they also host a lot of events, which I haven't been to, but now that I work in the area I will be better informed about them. It's beautiful, clean, and a relaxing shopping environment. In the winter they have a small ice skating rink, and if the cold is too much for you, you can catch a movie as well. Their decorations for the holiday and Christmas season were great, I loved the giant Nutcrackers. I saw the staff taking them down today after I stopped in to see if Starbucks was open and those statues sure looked heavy the way the guys were struggling to carry them. I also noticed there's a small WW2 museum next to Starbucks. It was closed, but if military vehicles and the like are your forte definitely take a peak at the schedule and fancy a visit. I do think they need more food places. One time when I went on a busy shopping day the lines were out through the door for all the places. Not wanting to stand outside waiting on line for a while I compromised and got food that I really didn't like. read more

We came in on 8/8 to check out the Fila, Nike and the all weather stores. Nike outlet store had a line with a 25 minute wait, so that was a bust we walked over to Fila store which did not have a line and everything was 30% off. I end up buying some polo shirts and hats and best of all the store was not crowded. I noticed the cashier wiping done her checkout area after each customer, everyone wearing a mask in the store and social distancing. Of course as soon as i step out of the store there was a line to get in. read more

First time here with my aunt by word of mouth yesterday. I brought a Tanger membership card for $10 then donate $5 to Breast Cancer Awareness for 25% off coupons on a single item. Boy, majority of the stores that we shopped at had a lot of discounts with 30%-70% off such as Calvin Klein, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and etc Wish there were more food spots at this Tanger. Came out here to visit the Crate and Barrel outlet but was pretty disappointed with the shops in the area and the deals they had.

I'm absolutely a supporter of small independent shops and dislike generic chain stores. With that said, sometimes (especially when holiday shopping) you just need the basics. And there are just certain stores that you can depend on for that. Tanger outlets has a ton of very high end and average end stores. Everything is on sale with amazing discounts. Today The Gap outlet had fifty percent off and coach had seventy percent off! You just cannot beat these prices. Of course, if you are buying from an outlet store they have different selections than the more expensive retail stores. My experience at Tangier outlets makes me never want to go to a retail shop again. The place is packed this time of year. They have an ice skating rink with a beautiful Christmas tree lit up. I'm sure this is a dream place for bored Long Island housewives and their families. Oh, and this girl. read more

A closer outlet option if you don't want to take the hike to Riverhead. Deer Park Tanger Outlets offer a variety of stores. Note, not every store is an outlet store though. Pretty decent sales especially during the holiday season. It is Black Friday and I understand there being the need for patience but; as I wrote this, I am currently 2:30 sitting in my car trying to leave. When I'm too lazy to drive out to the Riverhead location I go to this Tanger since it's closer. The architecture has that Italian villa feel as an outdoor mall. Throughout the year the stores offer deals season to season. There has been some changes with additions of new stores. The Victoria's Secret and Pink store is one of the latest new additions, but sad o see it's just a regular store and not an outlet store, so those hoping to get good deals will still need to trek out to the Riverhead outlet. Generally there is lots of parking surrounding the Tanger Outlet stores. However when there is a special event or during the holiday shopping season, it is more difficult to find a spot. There are special events held throughout the year including summer concerts, weekend farmers market, charity runs and the holiday tree lighting. read more

Update: I just want to compliment this mall for being baby friendly in the bathrooms. As a new mom, it's hard to go out with my baby and find a changing table. They have a changing table and a place to feed your baby. Very accommodating! Thank you so much tanger. You don't understand how helpful that is for a mommy! read more

WOW! The assistance I received yesterday from RYAN and THOMAS far exceeded typical customer service expectations. They both went to a great deal of effort going to the back looking for sizes that weren't available on the floor as well as finding one of the items on clearance. Also, Ryan opened boxes in the back and found a "freedom" T-shirt that I needed in a different size to avoid driving 40miles to Riverhead! If you visit this store and run into one of these guys rest assured they will do everything possible to help. THANKS AGAIN! read more

Plenty of handicap wheelchair rentals and parking. If you need a stroller for the kiddies they have them at the office. Only negative part is that if youre in a wheelchair or using a stroller many of the stores are narrow and not exactly handicap or stroller friendly, and difficult to get over the door thersholds with ease, and NO store has handicap buttons for the door besides one, which is Neiman Marcus (which doesnt work sometimes).... Love the farmers market on Saturdays during majority of year. They have cheaply priced ice skating during the winter. Cheap locker rentals too. Prices are decent of most of the stores. Not too many eateries within the outlet but surrounding there's a Miller's Ale house and Ruby Tuesday's. read more

This is definitely the most pretty looking Tanger Outlet I've ever been to. However, the layout is incredibly confusing, I've been going here for years and I've yet to find a nice way to hit up every store without constantly making loops or missing something. The bathrooms here have always been kept very clean and the aesthetic of the entire outlet area is gorgeous with plenty of parking. The choices in stores here are kind of bare and it can be a bit more hit and miss than the larger outlets I've been to, but overall has a nice selection of stores. There's also plenty of food choices here, which makes it a nice place to shop before dinner time and there is an okay theater here, so it really allows you to make the whole day an outing despite the store choices being a bit barren. read more

This is a great place not only to find some great deals and some good shopping but it also has a big movie theater. There is the New York Sport Club Gym which is not very old. There are some small restaurants and ice cream. Right now during the holidays they have a Christmas tree and the ice skating rink. They do a lot of different events at the outlets. Tanger Outlets Deer Park - One of my favorite stores at the outlets ! - Outlet Stores Near Me - Deer Park, New York

I have to write an update, My wife & I went shopping this weekend and it hit me all at once: First, you're walking and there's music playing!? And the music is happy?! Second, there's an AMC theater. Like Downtown Disney!?? Very cool Third, the restaurants here are brands like Johnny Rockets and Nathans. I have yucky food choices at Tanger Riverhead. Lastly, there's an semi enclosed area which make it nice when it rains or snows. Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, you're growing on me. read more

Hey Friends! Welcome to The Tanger Outlet stores in Deer Park, NY. My wife loves this place ! And I love that I Do not have to go to the end of the Earth to find a Tanger Outlet. This Deer Park location is at least half the distance drive that the Riverhead location is, if your traveling from Flushing, Queens. Oh yeah! I love the way this shopping destination has evolved over the years. I remember years ago there was NO Miller Ale House .. "a less than enjoyable time indeed". When wife is busy in a discount shopping frenzy.. that you don't want any part of. The smart Adventurer can quench parched throats, watch FOOTBALL, and eat spare ribs at The Wonderful Miller Ale Haus. Pass me the Tabasco while wife he does her shopping thang... just steps away. (PS.. easier parking in the lot for the Miller Ale House.) All of the BIG name stores are here, at Tanger Deer Park selling most of their merchandise at Big discount prices. One of my destinations was The Coach Outlet. Coach purses are an absolute mandatory fashion item for my wife. She has about 15 Coach purses. She has closet which is specifically for her purses, shoes, scarfs, belts and other fashion extras. After waiting outside on the line to get in the store for a few minutes I was able to find what wife needed at a 75% discount! Kudos to the very professional staff who had product locations and inventory knowledge committed to memory. What a great shopping experience at Coach. Wonderful Customer service, quality merchandise. All at a discounted price point. Next on Santa's shopping list was The Ugg factory outlet. My wife loves the comfort and warmth of Ugg boots. I bought her first pair 3 years ago in basic furry black. Soo funny, my wife kept calling them her ugly boots and I kept sayin.. Yep.. that's the name. Almost like Who's on first. But in Chinglish. The ugg store is in need of updating, small and cramped. With the holiday line literally out the door.. One of the 2 cash registers was tied up for 20 minutes by some lady shopping with her phone on the internet. She was just deciding what to buy..There was no manager available to step up to fix this issue and their items were not even in this store. The holdup at the register caused people to start shouting and hooting at the lady from the long line. Lack of proper management cost the store over $1,000 in just a few moments as I watched people putting down their purchases and leaving. When the lady finally left the store, the entire place broke out in loud applause. It was like out of a movie. I was able to get exactly what I needed for my wife..1 pair of black boots and 1 beige. I appreciate the courtesy of the nice lady in the furry coat that helped me at Ugg. Thank you for your suggestions that helped me save money. Love shopping at the Tanger Outlet.. Since my husband and I are shopaholics, we had to stop by this new Tanger Outlets on our way back from the other Tanger Outlets in Riverhead. Parking was fairly easy because we went during late evening on a Sunday night. There was a good amount of stores that fit our style, which includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Under Armor, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory, Lucky Brand Jeans, Nike Factory Store, Neiman Marcus Last Call and Saks Fifth Avenue. Not to mention, there's also the Christmas Tree Shops, Toys"r"us express and BJ's. Please keep in mind that this outlet also have a couple of restaurants for eat in or snacks, a dessert place and a regal movie theater, which is great. It was designed as an outside outlet with some good indoor features as well. It wasn't that crowded on a Sunday night and we got great service at all the stores we went into. Plus, we were lucky because there were some very good sales going on during the Christmas holiday so we left with some new clothes and shoes. We will be back again next year to spend some more money. read more

We had a lovely stroll around the outlet stores. I definitely enjoy the fact that it is an outside mall. When the weather permits it is a great place to spend the time doing what I enjoy, shopping. There is a wide variety of name brand outlets here. As with all outlet stores it is best if you know your prices as some are not such a great bargain. You always have to keep in mind that the high end stores are still going to be costly even though they discount. read more

Ah where to begin ... The good thing about this place is that it's not too overwhelming, like what you'd see at Woodbury Common. But for an outlet mall, the store selection here is just average at best. Not a lot of luxury stores to be found, so if you're looking for the Burberrys of the world, you won't find it here. It's mostly mid-tier retail, so if you're hankering for Nike shoes or J Crew .. you'll be happy here. The parking here is kind of annoying. Given the amount of foot traffic and the presence of a movie theater, it would have been nice that they considered more parking options in this outlet mall. There also aren't a lot of food options around, unless you love Joe's Crab shack. All in all, if you're in need to do some outlet shopping, I think there are way better options in the New York area. read more

I like this outlet. I also like that I don't have to drive all the way out to Riverhead because this place has like 90% of the stores I like to shop. It does get packed, especially on weekends so my advice would be to arrive when it first opens. There is plenty of parking, the entire place is a ghost town (for a little while) so you could do your shopping relatively hassle free. Try to hit the more popular stores on your list before the crowd descends then after a few hours boogie on out of there! If you frequently shop at Tanger Outlets I recommend you join the Tangerclub where you get "free gift cards and luxury gifts when you hit $250, $500 and $1,000 spending levels." and these perks: Seasonal TangerClub member specials Exclusive TangerClub web offers and special savings Free coupon book with every visit Free birthday reward No fees on gift card purchases ($1.50 value per card) I think it is a one time $10 fee to join, but you make that back in swag and gift cards. My wife and I combine our purchases to hit the levels. If you are both really big shoppers then it might pay for each have your own membership. You can use it at Tanger Outlets all over the country (Riverhead is Tanger also). You bring your receipts to a customer service center, or use the app to total up your purchases. read more

This Tanger is so clean and beautiful. Relatively NEW looking!! My shopping experience is soso comfortable, despite the blazing outdoor heat! Good thing for AC blasting inside the stores lol. I should have came to this Tanger sooner! Not sure why I wasted the extra travel time to Riverhead when I can do all of my shopping here. This Tanger also has some of the stores that I normally hit first, such as Banana Republic Factory, Gap Factory, Ann Taylor Factory, and Nike Factory. #happyshoppingasalways =) ***This Tanger is definitely much closer to NYC!! Only 45 mins from Queens as per my GPS. I think the only CON is that there are limited places to eat. There isn't an actual food court, just food shops here and there. So my family and I were hungry during lunch time but couldn't decide on what to eat. Nathan's, Chipole, or China Max ? Out of the three, we chose Nathan's. Shrugs. Starbucks is here but is it drinks. And Red Mango is here but it is dessert! lol TIP: Prep yourself! Before you go to any tanger outlet, check tanger.com for directions and a print-out MAP with store listings. . I am an old school Long Islander. You see, back in my days, we would have to go alllllll the way out to a town called Riverhead for the Tanger outlet stores at the last exit of the Long Island Expressway. It took so long to get out there and traffic would be terrible at certain times of the year. So much that it would deter me from going there unless I absolutely needed too. Also, if I was running around and late....I could not afford the time to go all the way out there to go shopping just in case I did not find anything. I usually wait until the last minute. lol This is America and we could not stand for this! So, a new Tanger Outlet Mall has opened ...closer to me in Deer Park. Much more convenient to get to over all. Plus, it is great because it is closer to other stores and malls etc as well. So if you have to grab something else or go to a different spot then you can. I usually am scrambling and love that it is close to Walt Whitman mall and my place because Im usually running late and waiting for the last minute to find something to wear. There are so many stores here! The mall complex is huge and there are plenty of different stores to check out. My staples are Nike and Polo and Adidas and Reebok and Brooks Brothers just to name a few. I usually do not eat around here but plenty of food options and restaurants as well. The movie theater was a cool addition to the complex. This place has bailed me out so many times as I was scrambling for something to wear at the last minute. Or when I receive a coupon and dont want to schlep all the way out to Exit 72 to use it. On my way to work so I can stop before or after on my way home if I have to. So glad that they gave us this closer option ...saves me time and money! read more

Honestly, I have no idea why I even come here, be it ever so seldom. There is really nothing that can't be found at the mall. I'm often irritated while trying to find the stores even though the new interactive map is really excellent. I go to the customer service center to get my AAA discount book and never open it, some stores not even participating in the book anyway. They have done a beautiful job with the space and it is pleasant to walk around on a nice evening, especially when the fountains are on, with their pretty colored lights. But I think that tonight was my last visit as all 3 of us returned empty handed and feeling that we waisted our evening. read more

Anyway go here it's fun and you'll def make a day out of it especially w the Xmas tree shop lol it reminds me of Florida being here :) You're better off coming here on a weekday the weekends are flooded with city peeps..
