I love the variety of stores at the outlet. My only gripe is that the Members Services office location is always changing. I never know where to look for it. On our most recent visit I found the office on the map and it was at the end of a long section with empty stores and the furthest possible point from the center of the outlet. It used to be more centrally located. We had to walk past all the empty stores at the furthest possible point to get a new coupon book for 2016. read more

Not the kind of deals that I was expecting. I went to express, 50% off, some other stores, buy one get 1 50% off. I was disapointed. Really pretty, if you live close by, you can go to enjoy feeling like you are in FL. But drive a really far distance, not worth it. I means if only 50% off is a good deal to you, go. But for me an outlet, needs to be way cheaper than that. I rather buy online, not waist gas or time than go here. read more

I love this place! Everything and anything you need you got! It's beautiful too! You can really make a day of it, with dinner and a movie there too! Great day! read more

Took the family shopping today. Got some good deals for back to school. Labor Day sales will most likely be better. However, the location is really convenient compared to River Head and Woodbury Commons. We will be back for the Labor Day weekend. read more

Tanger Outlets Deer Park - Enjoying the outdoors - Outlet Stores Near Me - Deer Park, New York

My shoppig experience was only this good because i was able to take the Christmas Tree Store shopping cart throughout the outlit complex. I have never been able to shop so much or for so long as yesterday with the cart. I think you may want to have carts available at every parking lot entrance! People will buy more if they dont have to carry it all over! read more

I find Tanger Outlets in Deer Park to be a very confusing place. I can never find the actual store that I'm looking for and find myself walking nonstop down every "block". I tried using the "you are here" directory but one didn't work. Another one had a long line of people waiting to use it, mostly because the touch screen was so slow. And the map of the stores was so high that I needed to be a giant to see where the store I wanted was located. Not to mention the writing was so small and the sun was so blazing that you couldn't read the screen. A complete waste of my time. Bottom line: too difficult to find a specific store. Plus, I never know where to park to be close to the store I want because all the stores are hidden from the parking lot. read more

Good location many popular stores Polo, Coach,Neiman not that crowded good prices good selection compared to other outlets

Great stores..A little crowded but understandably so due to the time of year! The service at most of the outlets was decent. I will definitely continue to shop there! read more

I absolutley love the Tanger outlets. I wish that there were more stores in Deer Park, but the ones I visit always have great prices and accept additional coupons. I would LOVE to see Tanger bring Spartina outlet to NY. I visited one in GA....and it was awesome! read more

I am writing to complain a serivce I received @ the following location: #1026, 152 The Arches Circle, Deer Park, NY 11729. I was at this store today (7/23/2012) at 3:15pm with my family. I placed an order of banana & mango smoothy and coned yogurt with 2 toppings. After i paid my order, I was given a wrong item, a small cup yogurt instead of the coned. So I kindly told the staff to give me a replacement. However, the ther staff,, the one who ok my order, wearing a black polo shirt and serving behind the cashier, refused to do that. I told him I did order the coned style. Suddenly, he took a banana n the counter and thrown it to the garbage can behind him, of course angrily and violently. I felt very scared and speechless. Meanwhile, they did give me e replacement. I would like you to follow up this store and the staff I have mentioned. I felt very disappointed and upset. I loved visiting Red Mango and admire the quality of food your company provide, but with this kind of service and attitude to the customer, I must file my complain. I may move to next step if this complain is not resolved and properly follow up. Kam H read more

the outlet is a dead zone on the weekdays it seems. I saw at most 10 people walking by in this big area. the stores are okay, no notable store to mention. read more

I shop here a lot. But I never figured out their Italian names on the walkways inside. There are also not enough maps, and they need more stores that my husband likes. I also don't understand why they don't have a store like Corning or Mikasa, but otherwise they are very good. I can find a lot of clothes for my kids. They also have a Sketchers store where you buy one pair and the second pair is half -price. This is a good place for women to shop. read more

Tanger in Deer Park has the potential of being an exclusive outlet as an addition to Riverhead and not in competition with if it added some more high end stores such as Tory Burch, Gucci, Burberry, Quicksilver, LaPerla etc... such as in Woodbury Commons. It is conveniently located for anyone on the island, beautifully kept all year round and a fun place. I love the ice skating in the winter for the kids and the farmers market in the summer. Keep the stores coming!!! read more

love it, even though it's slightly far from where i live. My only complaint, not enough places/choices to eat.

Great stores in easy traveling distance from nassau and the five burroughs. Riverhead location is bigger, but Deer Park has more going on --ice skating, concerts, movies, etc. and it's a helluva lot closer! read more

Tanger outlets = okay. Not great. Not terrible. My main issue here is that the stores are not that big and they don't carry as many lines or have as much variety or even stock as a non outlet version of the similar store. Now I know that is the point of an outlet store, but the step down shouldnt be so intense. The outlets can get crowded, but for the most part the crowds are okay. There is a good selection of stores, but as I said, the individual stores themselves aren't that great. The food options are limited and mosty unhealthy. Getting there from NYC is pretty easy though as you just hop the LIRR and then take a shuttle to the outlets. Overall, if you can make it to Woodbury Common, that is probaby your best bet, but if you can't and are in the mood for some outlet shopping, Tanger Outlets should do. read more

I love Tanger Deer Park! They have a great variety of stores, from an 'As Seen on TV' store all the way to high end shit like Calvin Klein and Neiman Marcus. The deals are always great. They have a Starbucks and a movie theatre. In the summer, they even have concerts. It's so well kept and feels almost vacation-y with the fountains and the newness of it. I suggest getting here early to beat the crowds, it's a much better experience without all the kids running around and getting stuck behind a twin stroller (can you tell I love kids?!). The only solid place to eat is Chipotle and believe me, everyone else knows it. The line is always outrageous, even out the door sometimes, although it does move at a good pace. My only complaint is that besides the Chipotle, I'm not really excited about grabbing lunch here. Besides the standard Nathan's, Chinese, and Johnny Rockets, they can't seem to keep a quality restaurant around for long. read more

great shopping! love that you have to walk outside to get to every store & is so pretty during the holidays.

Its not "outlet" stores. But it has some good deals. Any positives are negated by the fact that there are not enough exits during peak times it could take 45 min. to get out of the parking lot. read more

I really like this outlet and it's an easy drive from Queens, NY. My last experience was pleasant except for the woman in customer service, who was very rude and almost threw coupon book at me. She was horrible! read more

I had an awesome shopping experience! I was able to get to Tanger with amazing shopper services. The ladies were really sweet and kind, and they helped a lot. The outlet itself has a multitude of stores; this is one of my favorite places to visit for clothes that are worth the prices! read more

It is ok, I thought it was kind of attractive. It is certainly closer to my home than Riverhead. Good Natualizer outlet, Great Christmas Tree shop. I would like a LIZ Claiborne(they have it in Riverhead) and Talbot's (But there is one 5 minutes away in Commack). If it is relatively convenient, then go, otherwise don't bother. You can find similar prices on sale at the traditionsl stores. read more

I love Tanger! Great stores and usually can find some good deals. I like being able to shop brands I like rather then stores carrying various brands. Mall is clean and I love the openness. My only negative is a 9:00 close time is fairly early on a Friday and Saturday night and I always run out of time. Also there should be more security around as last weekend when I was there a group of teenagers were throwing things and making a scene of themselves and their was no security to be seen. read more

This tanger is a really nice outlet space. It has the Italian look and feel for all the buildings. It's nice to have a tanger much closer than the one in riverhead but I'd still prefer the riverhead one due to the selection and number of stores. I can never seem to find too much to buy here, which can be a good and bad thing. The theatre is actually very nice and can get overrun by the tweens hanging out on a busy weekend. One note, they definitely don't allow dogs on the property. I've been to other outlets that don't care. I can understand keeping a property clean but it's sad that with such a nice open space, you can't freely walk around with a pet. I ran into about two security guards, one that told me I could hang out on the outside perimeter with my dog and another that told my friend that he needed to "hold" the dog. The second request was a little ridiculous. read more

pretty decent outlet. its funny though, theres very few items that are ultra reduced. theres only like a little section in each store. plus the layout of this place is weird. its really easy to get lost. its actually laid out like a snowflake. read more

Nice place , enjoy coming here with my family for walks , could do a better job with the fountains tho

I have been to many outlets and have to say this is by far the worst I've been to. The parking was fine (which is a major plus for an outlet) but the stores or lack thereof was the worse part. We literally spent less than an hour "shopping" and spent more time in line on chipotle for lunch. This place has potential but needs to expand and get a better variety of stores and eating establishments. Will NOT be back read more

Place is just ok. Too many cheap brands, not enough high end ones. They do have a decent movie theatre and gets really crowded on the weekends I would suggest to go on weekdays and avoid holidays because the place gets packed read more

Tanger Outlets is great, but there isn't as much stores as the one in Riverhead. But it is great not having to drive all the way out to Riverhead and the shops are great, plus there's the movie theater where you can watch after a full day of shopping which is great. read more

Never again! This place is so confusing. It was deserted, only a couple of people at 6:30pm which says a lot right there. Thought I would get blown away from the cool wind in the long, lonely, but well lit walkways. Very hard to find where the stores are, all are hidden on inner "mall streets". Had no idea there was only parking areas on the outskirts of this outlet. Tried to find a mall map on the free WI-fi but it kept cutting out. The Naturalizer shoe store I wanted to go to, had left Tanger in Riverhead, so I had to go to Deer Park. The Deer Park store was disappointing, much smaller, less stock & with a cramped feeling. In all fairness, I have to say the buildings are nice to look at, sort of upscale. I guess I got spoiled by the convenience of the parking at the Riverhead Tanger outlets. The stores surround the parking & you can easily see the names on the stores to find where you want to go. I'll go to the Riverhead outlets from now on! read more

While at the Coach Store, I was treated badly by the "manager" if that's what she was. I was purchasing 10 wristlets ( 7 of which were the color black) for Christmas gifts, in addition to 5 other items. I selected my merchandise and then waited on line for approximately 25 minutes on line to pay. The salesperson was ringing up my items and the proceeded to tell me that I can only purchase 5 wristlets of the same color. I suggested to split the order and pay separately and they were refusing to complete my purchase of $492.33! while asking me if I was shopping with someone who had a different name who would be able to buy my items. This was ridiculous! The manager stated I could buy different colors or another style if I wanted to change my selections. I was infuriated as I was being told what to purchase. This held the line up and made a scene for no reason. There was no sign anywhere stating the restrictions of buying any items. Had there been a sign ,I wouldn't have wasted my time shopping there. The manager ultimately approved the transaction, after keeping me waiting at the register for approximately a half hour and other customers listening to the entire conversation, complaining that she would have to submit my receipt to the corporate office for approval. What an ordeal ! read more

This place is a nice open air mall but it's not an outlet. The prices in the "outlet" stores are the same or higher than regular stores.

There are quite a few stores at Tanger Mall Deer Park plus a movie theater. Pay close attention to where you park because you wouldn't want to have to forget where you parked. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you may do a lot of walking! Navigating the design of this outdoor mall can be challenging. Also, it is recommended to go to their website prior to visiting Tangers since there may be events and coupons to be found there. Finally, enjoy your shopping experience. read more

I have been a member since it opened and I have never been able to use a coupon, stores always find some reason to deny it. Just recently I spent $150 at Torrid and I gave the cashier the coupon from the book ($20 off if you spend $100). She wouldn't take it due to some store-wide sale. Same thing with Chicos during the same shopping trip--I bought a blazer and they wouldn't take the Tanger 20% off a single item coupon, again citing some sort of store promotion. read more

Came here the weekend of Black Friday weekend 2016. The sales were amazing!! Really good prices, I mean literally BARGAINS. Lululemon had really good sales and an additional amount off the sale prices. The sports bras came out to 13 dollars each! You cannot beat that. Other stores also had good sales as well. My boyfriend and I found good sales at stores such as Lacoste, Vineyard Vines, Polo, Victoria Secret, and Vera Bradley. The only annoying thing about the outlets was the food selection. It was very limited. They had all unhealthy choices and by unhealthy I mean ALL FAST FOOD. If you're planning on going shopping at this mall I would suggest bringing lunch especially if you are not into fast food. Other then that I have no complaints!! The sale prices were amazing and parking was not as bad as I thought it would be. We circled around for maybe 7 minutes and found a spot right in front of the Nike store. read more

Not many sales for an outlet. Same as regular stores. Every once in a while you can get a good deal. The coupons are useless because they have too many rules on them. Some of the stores wont accept them at all. I only go there because it is local read more

Great place to get last minute shopping done or even indulge for yourself. Make sure you join the Tanger Club to get even MORE savings. If you are a AAA member also you get a free coupon book.. Its only 10$ to join, otherwise you're paying $5 every time you need a new book....no brainer here! Nice selection of stores, just wish there was a little more diversity in places to grab a bite. But then again, you're here to shop not to eat!! read more

Very organized ,you can have the best deals . Wide variety of good brand names. AMC is great .

Designed like a Mediterranean village with winding alleyways, it is attractive but not conducive to shopping. No way to park near the stores, you must park outside the mall and then walk through. Unlike Riverhead you cannot see all the stores and must follow a map. Some of the alleys have mostly closed stores and are deserted and do not feel safe, especially at night. There is a beautiful new movie theater and several restaurants and fountains in one area that is enjoyable in nice weather, but the rest is just too unaccessible for serious shopping. read more
