They also sell fabric. The fabric ranges from everyday quilting cotton to Liberty of London cotton Lawn. Their yarn variety is fabulous too. They carry Borocco and Fiber---- (sp?) and active pair perfect sock yarn as well as many other weights. I like that they did have a lot of fiber that other shops don't normally carry. They also have roving and Ashford spinning wheels (kiwi 3 and country spinner) and Regis heddle looms. I went to buy a kiwi, and ended up with a lot more! The staff was super nice and allowed me to assemble the wheel in the store. They loaned me tools and had everything else I needed. I know there were ladies doing a sew or knit in in their back room. I didn't participate but listed in. I think they were welcoming of newbies and some of them knew each other a while. If I lived here, it would probably become a hangout for me. This is definitely on my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. And I'm 100% sure I can get my girlfriends to do a roadtrip to come visit here. I'm so excited to find such a neat shop! It hits my two favorite hobbies! Quilting/sewing and fiber!

Everything was pretty expensive, but sadly that's to be expected at a small business like this. I purchased a yard and a half of pretty pink and yellow fabric that I intend to turn into a pillow. It was about $15. There were a group of older ladies in the back of the store who were working on projects and chatting. One of them worked at the store, and she came up to check on us and answer questions. She also gave me a pamphlet that showcased all their upcoming classes and events (including a quilting retreat???), which I assume also accounted for the group in the back. I would have been interested in a couple of the beginner-friendly events, except that they were also pretty expensive. Also, they didn't have any classes for kids, which surprised me. I feel like that sort of thing would be good to have and promote to help stay in business these days. Still, hopefully they're doing well, especially after Jo-Ann closed.

I found all my fabrics here for several quilting projects and each time I walk inside, they have stopped what they were doing and jumped into my project needs! Twice now they have helped figure out the math to finish the sashing/ boarders/ binding for my quilts.... AND gave me great advice on fabric options & sewing tips! They both were very knowledgeable and helped to interpret a pattern that I was sent via email. I bought some really colorful, cute fabric for a scrub cap project that I'm working on. It also called for grosgrain ribbon which they don't sell (it is a quilt shop, after all). I asked where I might be able to find some and they suggested Hobby Lobby and even gave me directions on how to get there! I'm only in the area for a couple of weeks but if I lived here and seriously wanted to take up quilting, this would be my go-to shop! (All pictures attached to my review will be noted if theyre from the grand opening, so its generally not that packed!). Ive been twice (grand opening celebration, and a random weekday) Sooooo many different TYPES of fabric options in every color and texture imaginable. Such a relief considering joanns primary thing was cotton for quilting. We went in mainly to window shop for apparel fabric for myself, and upholstery fabric for my aunt. I did end ip grabbing some swatches of some home fabric in the case I want to reupholster some chairs. Employees are really nice. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program. Prices are obviously higher than joanns, but with that a psa to those that have never had the chance to visit anything other than joanns- the rolls here are taller than the bolts you'd get elsewhere. If you are looking for zippers or other notions you might be better going elsewhere though! They have some basic options but not too many. Threading though they have a great selection.

There are so many options from stickers to beads, paint stuff, seeing stuff, wool, basically just about anything you can think of in arts. The staff is limited but very helpful. They are ever ready to answer your questions however basic they may be. You can get easily lost in their aisles creating projects in your head. I spent 2 hours and still could catch up only half the store ! Prices are reasonable. They have altered and in some cases completely removed their coupon options which could have been more attractive on the wallet , nevertheless, one or the other specials are always going on in store. Must visit again.
