I stopped by today after seeing some of their Facebook advertising. Boy am I glad I did!!! Lucky for me I was the only one there when I went. Service was quick and the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I got the seekh lamb wrap and a side of garlic naan. The wrap was so good and fresh ingredients were obviously used. The bread is made on the spot and was phenomenal. This well lit food truck made me stop because of the colors and the central location. Once I got out of the car, I was hit with the amazing smell of indian food. Service was great (if you're in a rush, be sure to call ahead) seems like they have a tandoor oven inside the truck so the naan and other things are coming out hot and fresh, which takes a little more time. I got the veggie samosas (lil triangles), veggie korma (a curry), lamb curry, garlic naan (tasty bread), gulab jamun (think donut hole in sticky sweet rose water!), and a mango lassi. It was all so good that I forgot to take pictures! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Pro tip: call ahead! It's all made fresh so it takes at least 15 minutes to cook everything. So worth it! read more

It is a food truck, so we didn't get to experience the ambiance but sometimes all you want to do is get amazing food and eat it at home. Tandoori Express is a home run!!! Ordered spicy Lamb Curry with rice, mild Butter chicken with rice and a garlic naan. We didn't know what to expect from this food truck but it's really close to the house and the food truck looks clean and is very inviting...too top it off, the service is friendly and excellent! The food comes out piping hot and made exactly the way you like. The lamb is tender while the curry sauce is spicy and full of flavors and spices. Pour that over rice and it's heavenly. My son loved his Butter chicken and garlic naan. Definitely will come back to try other items. The food is delicious and so close... I was pleasantly surprised that I would be eating one of the greatest Butter Masalas off of Tandoori Express truck in the back of the Safeway parking lot in Lincoln.
