I really do love all of your food. Never had anything bad, but I will say that you're using way too much salt. I can tell. Even the samosas were salty on the bottom when they didn't need to be, but not as salty as the other food. Found this little hem while we were in Rocklin. Needed something filling and we were craving for Indian food. Everything that we tasted was so good. In chaat, we tried sev puri. If you opt for thali, you get to choose any curry, which I found really amazing. Thali is perfectly portioned. A must try is Tandoori masala chaap. Alex is the owner and his supported ably by his entourage of family and friends. Their dishes are spectacular - Chole Bature - Pani Puri - Paneer Tikka and their Biryani. Best chicken curry I've had in ages. They were a little lacking in service, but the curry and naan were so good, I will absolutely be back.

Saw a promotion for this place so I decided to try it. Called in an order for pickup. My order was ready at the specified time. Tried their samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken and creamy chicken. Based on other reviews, I plan to try more items here. They have multiple different types of Biryani to choose from. It seems whether you go in and sit down or order online/over the phone, it will take a while for them to make your food (not a bad thing). I thought the lunch rush was very busy today for a Thursday in July; a lot of To Go Orders. People who came in to sit down decided to leave because the Host/Cashier/Waiter (gentleman) was honest about how long it would take to get them some food due to all the orders they had. I the gentleman for a recommended Biryani for someone who likes Northern Indian Biryanis but not ones that are really spicy hot. He recommended the Mughalai Biriyanis. I got the Chicken Mughalai Biryani. The chicken is dark meat and in a yogurt sauce that is not really spicy at all (maybe some heat kicks in later but it is mild). The rice underneath was well seasoned with cardomam, saffron flavors, not too salty which was nice. There are orange pockets of spice in the rice (saffron?); they are mild so hard to tell what spice it is. The dish comes with a hard boiled egg. I had no idea what type of Biryani I would get ,so this was an experiment for me. The dish benefitted from juice from the lime wedge that comes with it. The dish feels very heavy; a little goes a long way in the summer time. The raita sauce was very thin (watery) but had a cucumber raita flavor. I am not a big fan of the dark meat fatty chicken in this Biryani, so I will be trying a non-chicken dish in the future. read more

The food here is pretty damn tasty. If you are looking for quick this is not your spot. They open at 430. Someone unlocked the door very quietly at 430 but said nothing with 8 people waiting out front. The only waiter at the time took the order of the person that came in after us and the couple before us and they got their food first. It took the restaurant 37 mins to get us an appetizer. The restaurant needs to work on the front of the house. Other than that the food was really good. I will try one more time. read more

The food was exceptional and she was lovely... however... the busboy used the same gloves to clear/clean a table which sat a family that sounded like they were coughing up lungs in unison, then grabbed place settings from another table to replenish without changing the gloves. Next, he proceeded to bring us to-go containers, and... you guess it... without changing the gloves. Don't let the health score fool you. We would've been back several times since, but those kinds of habits are engrained. Cleanliness, or lack thereof, will sink a business. read more

Tl;dr online pickup order was missing an entree; credit card was hacked. I placed an online order directly through their website. $100 worth of food. When I picked it up, they didn't give me one of the entrees. I called them and they told me they couldn't refund anything from an online order, so I had to drive back to pick it up. A couple of days later, a fraud charge appeared on my credit card. Their website was the only place I've used my card's direct number and security code recently, so I have a suspicion that their site is not secure and has been hacked. The food was wonderful, but unfortunately these other negative experiences have me concerned about returning. read more

Tried this spot for the first time and it did not disappoint! The butter chicken was absolutely delicious -- super flavorful, rich, and perfectly spiced. Great food, terrible service. The biryani and chaat were genuinely good--no complaints at all about taste or quality. Unfortunately, the hospitality was extremely poor and ruined the overall experience. When ordering, we asked for a dosa for a child in our group. The person taking our order said the dosa cook was not available and insisted we order idli instead. After waiting 20-25 minutes for our food, we saw the dosa cook return. When we politely asked to switch to dosa, we were refused and told the idli was already ordered--despite the fact that we only ordered it because we were told dosa wasn't available. To top it off, the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM without anyone checking for last orders. We wanted to order brownies but were bluntly told the restaurant was closed. When we mentioned no last-call was offered, the response was simply that the staff "got busy." Food alone doesn't make a good restaurant--hospitality matters, and this was handled very poorly. While we enjoyed the food, we would not dine in again due to the service. If you plan to eat here, takeout might be your only safe bet. Until customer service improves, we wouldn't recommend dining in. read more

Worst Indian food I've ever had. I do not know how this place has the reviews it has. The food was absurdly spicy, and I actually like spicy food. It was like they forgot to add anything but ground spices and peppers to the sauce. It wasn't flavorful, it was just overwhelmingly and offensively bitter and intense. The service was also slow, inattentive, and not that friendly, and the restaurant did not seem all that clean. The only reason I'm giving them a 2 instead of a 1 is because they were fairly busy, and it's not a particularly large place. Again, I have no clue what other customers see to make this place as popular as it is. There are quite a few Indian restaurants in Roseville/Rocklin, and this is hands down the worst of the bunch. read more

Stopped here to charge car nearby and saw the big Now Open sign. We are fans of Chaat, and the photos of the offerings looked tasty. We ordered the Dahi Dall Papdhi Chaat, Masala Dosa, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan. The dosa was gigantic, light and crispy w/ the sourdough tastiness filled with masala spiced potatoes and all the traditional fixings that come with it. See photo!
