We had a great meal at Indian Oven. We started with the paneer pakora, which came with three different sauces--each one delicious and a perfect complement to the crispy, flavorful paneer. For my main, I had the lamb vindaloo, and it was truly delicious: nicely spicy with hot chilies, tomatoes, and onions. The lamb was incredibly tender, well seasoned, and basically fell apart with each bite. We also ordered the chef's bread basket with garlic, onion, and butter naan. Honestly, it was hard to decide which naan was the best, but the onion naan was my favorite. Everything was on point--spicy, well balanced, and clearly authentic Indian food. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're craving bold flavors and quality dishes.

NICE PLACE!! Architecture is amazing!! Service is good, waiter was attentive. Food, took a bit but it was kinda crowded.. Vegetable samosa's came first, Yumm!! All other food came out at once, chicken vindaloo, jhinga malai curry, basmati rice and garlic naan... Wow!! So good.. The two dishes balance out each other so well.. One spicy and the other earthy.. I would definitely come back to this place!!!

I ended up having dinner here tonight after a few other spots had hour long waits, and I was actually pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The restaurant is huge and open, and I was greeted and seated right away. Water was poured as soon as I sat down, menus handed over, and we went ahead and ordered a mix of dishes. The pani puri was just okay, but I did enjoy the crunch. My usual garlic naan with butter chicken really hit the spot, and the vegetable samosa came with three dipping sauces plus a little cabbage side that was actually pretty tasty. The chicken tandoori was great! super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also tried the fish amritsari with a squeeze of lemon, and it was really good. Even the side of rice came out in a larger portion than expected, and when my daughter fell in love with the cherry tomatoes they use as garnish, I asked the server for a small side of them and they didn't charge me for that, which I appreciated. As good as the food was, the service is where things started to fall apart. Once all the dishes were dropped off, that was pretty much the last time anyone stopped by. No mid meal check in, no "How's everything?" nothing. I had to flag the server down just to get a drink refill, and later we had to do the same to get our to go containers and the check. It wasn't busy, so it felt more like inattentiveness than being overwhelmed. It's a shame because the food here is genuinely excellent, and I would absolutely come back for it. But the lack of basic customer service really took away from the experience. If you want great Indian food, I'd still recommend trying them, just maybe stick to takeout unless you're okay with being largely ignored while dining in.

We were seated immediately in a booth and offered to have their buffet or menu. We opted for the menu. I believe they said the buffet was $35 a person. The restaurant is pretty. They poured water in glasses when we sat down and there was something floating in the cups so we didn't drink them. My husband ordered a beer and I had the Pinot Grigio. My wine glass had crusty food all over it so I had to clean it before drinking from it - gross but it seems it was from the dishwasher. Drank my wine just fine. Now the food. YUM. To start, we tried the pani puri- my husband is a huge fan so this was a must try for us as I have never had it before. My first experience was great. I thought the flavor was delicious. My husband said it was pretty good however the shells on these pani puri are thicker than other places he has had before and he prefers the thinner shells. It came with a kind of green mint sauce, it was good! ...what a fun experience! Then we ordered the lamb tikka masala, rice and garlic naan. This naan - oh my. It was thin and had a slight char to the bottom side (which we LOVED) and the garlic wasn't overpowering but delicious. The rice was perfectly fluffy - I have never seen such perfect rice before and it had peas in it. The lamb tikka masala- wow! Great flavor! All three together were perfect. We also added some of the mint sauce from the pani puri. Even more yum!! We'll be back! The food is worth coming back!

Anyone who loves Indian food that actually has FLAVOR needs to get in here! The interior decor is more upscale as apposed to so many that are kind of like a glorified cafeteria setting. This is a clean, warm, inviting and comfortable environment. The typical person dining out these days seems to think "dress as terribly as you can"... Here you can actually dress appropriately and feel good about where you are dining. Check out the pics, it's nice inside. Our host and the servers were all spot on the entire evening, being both attentive and friendly. The staff was dressed cleanly and professionally. We requested our dishes be 'spicy' as that's how we roll around here. For dinner we had the chicken vindaloo, lamb Rogan Josh, Paneer saagwala, basmati rice and some garlic naan. All of the dishes were so incredibly full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. Great depth and quality in all of them. If I were to make any kind of criticism, it would be that the garlic naan was a little too oily. But, we didn't come here just for the naan. Of all the Indian restaurants in NorCal, we have tried thus far, we have to agree that this is our top spot now, and we will be coming back many times going forward. Come for the service and atmosphere, and experience the excellent food!

My family and I were here the other weekend for the lunch buffet and we couldn't be more impressed. We received a text message notification from the restaurant informing us that they were having half off buffet and we couldn't say no. There options for the lunch buffet included all sorts of yummy options including fresh salad, fruit (pineapple, melon), sauces/chutneys, fish pakora, zucchini pakora, samosa, chili paneer, rice, fish curry, spinach saag paneer, tandoori chicken, chicken masala, lamb curry, regular basmati rice and seasoned rice, chick pea masala, broccoli salad, and two different desserts. The service was great, the restaurant well maintained and lots of care and attendance to our big party. The bathrooms in the back (only two) - which can get busy! Lots of parking in the area! Overall- would come back again!

Butter chicken was good, the fish was tasty. The lamb was a bit dry and not worth your $25. Naan bread was good. Plain rice for kids was a bit dry. Service was good and most of the time attentive.

First time at India oven and it was delicious! My new favorite Indian spot in the area. I started off with some vegetarian samosas which were just okay but the goat curry and butter chicken were absolutely delicious! I'm from the bay area and I've got pretty high standards for Indian cuisine and the goat curry really shocked me how tender the goat was. Butter chicken was so good with rice and with their naan. Highly recommend getting their bread basket so you can try the different types of naan. I couldn't decide between the garlic and onion ones as they were both delicious. Their naan was perfectly crispy, thin and flavorful.

This place is nice and fancy the food is good, but not for me because it's too spicy. We asked the waiter for no spicy but he said they only offer mild and it should not be that spicy but for us it was killing us. The service is nice, but we will not come back because the food is too spicy for us.

The chicken tikka masala was deliciously creamy in texture with great flavor and tender chicken pieces. The chili chicken also had great flavor and texture. Our least favorite was the Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani because there's like whole chicken drumsticks in there (versus chunks or pieces of chicken which is what we are more used to). I think i will try their other chicken biryani next time as it seems more our style. I ordered takeout and the wait time was not bad (like 20-30 mins). It is not even visually appealing. Such a sorry excuse for a dosa served lukewarm on some parts of it. Maybe management itself is a whole buffoon team operating gloriously. I didn't pay for the Dosa. They also appreciated it. Because I didn't want to pretend like I didn't get the message from the joker lot.

As a Taiwanese person, I was very curious and intrigued by the Indo-Chinese dishes on the menu. The shop was quiet and clean, there was only one other family there during our lunch. So we got seated and placed our order right away. There were several large screen TVs in the dining area playing various shows. One was displaying beautiful sceanaries from the Himalayas and that captured my attention for the longest time. Soon our food came. We ordered the steamed Chicken Momos, the Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Naan and they all looked very good. We liked the curry, and the momos were fun to eat. It's a bit different but also very similiar to a Chinese bao. The Momo has much thiner skin and the filling tasted slightly different from a plain meat bao. To me, it feels kinda like a larger version of a soup dumpling without the pool of the broth inside. Needless to say, I found myself studying the momos while stuffing them into my mouth as they were quite delicious and easy to eat. Oveall, we were very glad we gave Everest Chilli Pepper a try as we enjoy the food and would like to try more Indo-Chinese dishes on our next visit.

It's a tangy spiced tomato thin soup/sauce that goes so amazingly well with the momos. My child loves it with her garlic naan. I'm going to keep going until I've tried all their veggie options.
