    Trash surrounding the picnic tables
    MIchele J.

The litter and garbage around this food truck is not appealing or appetizing. We stopped at this place to use the E-Chargers, and the entire complex is covered in trash. Piles of garbage and cigarette butts are all over the ground. Too bad, because Tahoe used to be so clean.

A few nice tables and seating near this food truck. The delicious aroma got us to come over to it lol. Hella close to the supper chargers. Very friendly and welcoming lady at the window who didn't cringe as we butchered the pronunciation of each of the many dishes we ordered. We love Indian food and eat it a lot, esp as vegetarians- but I'm pretty horrible at pronunciation in any other language other than English and maybe my limited Japanese pronunciations decent lol, but she was a really good sport when I ordered bc I know it was not sounding the way it should whenever I order Indian or Thai foods in particular. Really very good food and service! Terrific pricing. Def recommend!

Indian Kitchen 80 is a small Indian food truck that was a good first stop for us for lunch when we were on our way from Truckee to the South Bay area. There are a lot of good options, both vegetarian and meat. The service was friendly, and the food was ready fast. We had their samosa chaat, dal makhani, and a garlic naan. Everything was quite authentic and served hot. The Samosas in particular, were good. The same place has a gas station and a Subway, so it's a good lunch stop if you want to mix and match lunch options.

I love trying food trucks. This one definitely didn't disappoint! The Kadai paneer was amazing, with a rich, fragrant masala sauce. The garlic naan was great. And the mango lassi was probably the best I've had. Definitely from fresh mango! Ordered another we liked it so much. Nice outside seating area in warm weather. Bonus- For EV drivers, there are both Tesla and ChargePoint chargers while you enjoy your food.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home, and we were so glad there was a authentic indian cuisine. We ordered tea, tandoori chicken, dal makhani, and paratha, and plain rice. The food was tasty and the service was friendly. The food was nice and hot, and the spice level was typical Indian spice level. The masala tea was in a pretty big cup, so the portion was really nice. Parking was fine it's located at a chevron gas station that is fully equipped. There were non-veg and vegetarian options. We would recommend and probably will stop again if we are ever passing through the area as it was very authentic. We ended up finding a parking spot right next to the food truck. There's some pop up table and chairs that are first come first serve. It was also sunny, so I would recommend a hat and sunglasses.

They have a variety of dogs... all beef, Italian sausage, spicy hot link, elk, bison, boar, and beyond brat (vegan). Look for the food truck in the parking lot with a Shell gas station on Highway 50. The dogs are served up plain or you can get them specialized as in a Chicago dog, Sonoran dog, chili cheese, etc. The dogs range $7.50-$15. Plus they got fries$5-13. Those too are served plain or specialized. My faves are the chili fries, Chicago dog, and New York style dog. The chili is no beans and the fries are double fried giving them an extra crispy layer of crust. I do have to tell them light on the onions and mustard because they give you a full bang for your buck and load it up. But Hubs likes it that way. I like to wash it all down with their homemade lemonade. It's the real deal, made with lemons, sugar, and water. The $6 lemonade is served up in a whomping 32 ounce container. Get this, they serve breakfast as well. You can get an egg, cheese, hash brown on an 8 inch Italian roll or bowl. $9.50. Add bacon, sausage or steak $2.50-$4.50 extra.

I had three Carne Asada tacos and they were some of the best tacos that I've had. I know Olympic Valley is pricey, it is a resort town. But his food truck is a nice addition and much cheaper than the food in the village. There was one Customer in front of me, Josh asked me what I was driving, and when the tacos were prepared, he brought them out to my car. The meat was not only cooked perfectly, but the spices were perfect. The meat was not dry at all, and it was a good mix of spices and just the right amount of cilantro. There were some grilled red onions, that added a nice sweetness. I've never had red onions on my tacos, but from now on, they will be the go to. The tacos were served with salsa Verde. It had the right amount of spice and tartness. Probably from tomatillos. There was also sour cream on the side. Delicious and presented well. I recommend trying them the next time you go skiing. Josh himself is a huge part of why this was so memorable, working the crowd, friendly with every single guest, making a party of 60 feel personal. I was driving…read morethrough Grass Valley, with the intention of visiting one of their great pasty shops to fuel me on my 12 or more hour journey. To my disappointment, both shops were closed. Searching frantically for an alternative, I noticed a food truck sitting in a parking lot. Clarky's BBQ. "Eh, BBQ's usually pretty expensive," I said to myself, "but I'm in a hurry and I'm starving," so I decided to give it a try. I walked up to the window and asked the lady what she recommended and she said she really likes the chicken sandwich, I think it's called the Southwest chicken sandwich, or something to that effect. So I said alright, I'll take that. The price was around $16 at the time, which I thought was about standard for a BBQ chicken sandwich. The picture on the menu showed a sandwich on a round bun, and I was thinking it would be like most BBQ sandwiches, about the size of a hamburger. I thought "man that's kinda pricey if it's hamburger size," but I eagerly awaited the arrival of the sandwich. I'm here to tell you that after I opened that package I was happy to have paid every cent of that $16 dollars because what a sandwich! This wasn't some 4 inch hamburger bun with a piece of chicken on it. This thing must have been at least 6 inches in diameter! It was loaded with tender smoked boneless chicken thighs, a soft melty white cheese, and ortega chilis. There might have been some other veggies as well but I can't remember. I was quite full by the time I got halfway through, but it was so good I just. Couldn't. Stop. Eating. I finished that whole sandwich in one sitting, and it was good to the last bite! The flavor was unreal, by far the best BBQ chicken I've ever had and maybe the best BBQ overall. The cheese flavor was perfect with the smoky chicken, and the chilis added just the right kick. I think this might be the best sandwich I have ever had, I think about it all the time! I've gotta have it again soon! Thank's Clarky's for a great experience!
