James Beard needs to visit this restaurant! What an amazingly sophisticated international fusion menu. The restaurant name is slightly misleading and should not be mistaken for Asian or Indian. The cuisine is creative and nontraditional. This restaurant does take reservations and we were there on a Thursday night and the place was pretty busy for a relatively new business. I suspect that reservations will become highly recommended as word gets out. The restaurant is casual, but decorated in such a way that makes it cozy. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated. There was absolutely no problem with a corkage as we had brought our own line which turned out to be off so we ended up getting a really nice Rioja that didn't break the bank. Wonderful international selection of wines to please any pallet. Plenty of local beers and NA options as well. The menu has a nice selection of appetizer, small plates and entrées. Our server was super enthusiastic and suggested we ordered a few of each and just share. We followed her guidance and have to say that we all agreed that the mushroom curry was off the charts the best curry we had ever tasted. The naan bake in a tandoori oven was truly addictive and for three that were trying to avoid carbs we ended up getting an extra order to dip in all the wonderful sauces! We loved the fact that everything had really good seasoning and a nice level of spice. I am not a big swordfish fan however, the swordfish Tataki was absolutely phenomenal, the bison served with morales was another home run as was the chicken tandoori. The dessert was as good as the dinner and offered a really great finish to what has to be one of the more memorable meals in a long time. This being our first meal in Rapid City has set the bar very high for all the rest!

Absolutely outstanding dining experience! We tried a variety of small plates, and every dish had such incredible depth of flavor. I was especially impressed by the celery root being used as a focal point--it was unexpectedly delicious and beautifully executed. The pork belly literally melted in my mouth, and the sauce was perfection, even for someone who isn't usually a fan of bleu cheese. As someone who is gluten-free, I felt completely included. The crudités were so thoughtfully prepared that I didn't miss out on anything--although the aroma of the naan at the door definitely caught my attention in the best way! Our server, Drew, was fantastic--attentive without ever being intrusive. He understood gluten-free needs on a personal level (as a fellow celiac!), which made the experience feel extra comfortable and cared for. The drinks were beautifully paired with the eclectic fusion influences throughout the menu. When a place claims French inspiration, I expect the sauces to shine--and wow, they did not disappoint. Every plate was balanced, creative, and just so good. You can't go wrong here. We'll definitely be back!

Came to town to hike Badlands. Following 12 miles, we had dinner at Tandoor Bocado and split multiple apps + entree. By far the Barramundi was the star of the show - would recommend a special trip specifically for it. Beyond that, the shrimp had an excellent kick and service was great. Not featured - delicious Chianti

Opah entree superb mix of flavors and textures.

I was very impressed with the food and service at Tandoori Bocado. My favorite dish was the Coconut Lardo. Absolutely delish!

They do need to update the online menu. Filet listed online for $40.75 was $55. Date listed $6.75 were $10. Filet Mignon w/veal Demi glaze was awesome, you could cut it with a butter knife. I didn't like the small potato bites. Should have mashed potatoes $55 Bison ravioli was good (not made in house) but the sauce was on the salty side. Medjool dates filled with blue cheese were great $10. $10 is too expensive for these though. Overall a great place for a relaxing dinner. Or just have wine and appetizers.

Apparently, they don't serve actual wedges because it causes too much waste. The owner agreed they need to change the name of the salad. My beet salad was tasty. Now after waiting 50 minutes with only one other couple in the restaurant, our entrees were served. They should have some games to play at the table for the long wait times. We were actually planning to order dessert but ran out of time. My salmon was cooked very well and tasted fresh. My husband's vegetable lasagna was saved by the mushroom gravy otherwise it lacked flavor.

A lot of times I find really good food in random places. Like there is an amazing Dominican restaurant in Orem (Provo Utah) and you would never think it would be good lol! But I ordered a small curry chicken meal on DoorDash with extra gravy and a side of peppa sauce. Service was somewhat good..and I say somewhat because they listened to my requests but didn't include my drink I ordered. I ordered a Ting.. Thankfully the Dasher took it upon himself to stop at a gas station and get me a Pepsi which was super nice of him and I was extremely grateful! The small was the perfect size and still too much for me. Chicken is juicy and flavorful, cabbage is super good. Rice & Peas were so good and not overly seasoned. Definitely ordering again. Peppa sauce was great too!

The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza and the restaurant is very casual. There are small and large size plates for patrons to enjoy, but my friend and I decided to get two small plates so we could try different proteins. -Small Oxtail Plate $14 - Holy cow! I was really surprised by how much meat we were given. In California we'd probably see half the amount and double the price and obviously it was tasty. The oxtail was tender -Small Chicken Curry Plate $11 - This chicken curry dish tastes like what my dad makes at home. The chicken is tender, and there was abundant vegetables that were soft and soaked up the curry juices Both order came with slaw and rice and worked well with the proteins. If you love flavor and at an affordable price A&D Jamaican will make you very happy. I hope if I get to visit again I'll get to try their goat meat! :D

Our entrees were expertly prepared and presented. They offered a number of lovely cocktails that pleased the rest of my party, while I enjoyed a glass of the lovely Austin Hope Cab. I'm knocking off a star for the excessively loud 80's music curated by an aging DJ, along with over-worked waitstaff that were challenged to respond to every party. Expensive (for Rapid City), but a lovely splurge to celebrate the birthday of our friend. I only wish that the temperature (103F at 6 pm) would have allowed us to sit on the rooftop patio.

We made reservations a few months ago for this restaurant. Very thankful we did as it was full to the brim! The decor and ambiance brought us back to the roaring 20's. Our server, Alexis, was awesome. She was highly informative and gave us greet recommendations! I had the watermelon and strawberry gazpacho as an appetizer! Refreshing with spicy twist....delicious! Wish I had the recipe! My husband & I had the specialty pasta for the evening....a ricotta and herb filled tortellini with a melt in your mouth herbed chicken breast...all in a creamy light red sauce. Fantastic!
