I asked why because my wife had already checked me in and made the staff aware of our situation and that I had been in the parking right out front waiting for my wife to head out. I added that I was just sent a text to wake my kiddo up and come inside and I literally did that only to be told that id now have to reschedule. Well, no need for that because I'll never come back to Hillsboro Eye Clinic again. Incredibly unprofessional receptionist staff.

Well, we got a message that a family member needed our help in California and we needed to be there asap. We called them & explained this, and that we wanted the glasses he ultimately had tried on, and that we would just get those glasses and take them to California and get lens then. My husband would not be returning to work and these were going to be covered on his insurance. They were busy and said they would call back. No call. Called several more times, no call back. We went buy and they were closed. By this time we had to leave. Fast forward to January. We did not want to go back to them for glasses and decided to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, I could not find the prescription anywhere so we were forced to go in person to request it. My husband ran in, they were so rude and they even seemed annoyed that he would dare ask for a reprint of the prescription. My husband came out so annoyed. He is a chill guy and always is friendly and for them to treat him like that was not only unacceptable, but unwarranted. Seeing all these reviews that date back to 2019, that the staff is rude, nothing apparently will be done about it. Lesson learned from now on to check Yelp before going to the eye doctor. OR ANYWHERE!!!

The eye problem is a symptom of being exposed to the mold at the Cedar Hills Rec Center in Beaverton, and as it was one of the "easier" symptoms from the mold (not life-threatening), I've let it slide. A problem with my frames that my old eye doctor would not back me up on irritated me, so I decided it was past time to try someone else. NW Eye Care Professionals had highly trained doctors and excellent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I'm hooked! Not only do I love everyone, but on my first appointment with Dr. Scotty, he asked if I've ever thought about vision/light therapy for my eye! My other doctor made it sound like there was nothing I could do (I assume because she would not directly make money on it; she was very money oriented), while my new doctor says, "Hey, this might help you heal!" So, I'm going to try it! I'm so excited; I really wondered if I would be stuck with the problem forever, but like with the mold, it takes time to find the right doctor with the right knowledge. Dr. Bruce, the founder of this clinic, is a pioneer in vision therapy, and I feel grateful and relieved I've landed in the right place! The establishment itself is wonderful. For example recently I bought a Roomba like vacuum thing here, it was working great for a couple months, but then it broke down. I went back to Costco to return it and they allowed me to just exchange it for new one! Also the prices there are very family friendly for my huge litter of kids. My son Braxtyn lovessss going to the Costco with me! Every time we step foot in it together he says this wonderful little saying, "The smell of Costco makes me wanna dance, like my name is Lance" and I just think it's so silly and really shows that goodness Costco brings out of families. Usually my Braxton is quite the little brat, but at Costco I can bribe him with samples! This is why me and my family love this fine establishment and have gone for years!

When I finally called Sunset I talked to Mike who was extremely helpful and understanding. He could not promise me glasses right away but was able to get me in to get the prescription first thing in the morning. After the eye exam with the doctor they got my prescription in and put an order in for the lenses immediately. Mike helped me pick out some frames and it was in the morning two days later I got my glasses. Everything was affordable but the customer service is why this place is amazing. Thanks for everything!
