However, I had to fight to get a $415.00 credit, it should have been more, because I never came away with any contacts. Needless to say I will not be returning.

However, ever since Dr. Lin left, the clinical care has significantly declined. During a previous visit, I was told I had early cataracts causing my vision issues. On my most recent visit, I was suddenly told I didn't have cataracts, but was offered no explanation for my continued blurred vision. To top it off, my last pair of glasses had terrible image distortion that never corrected after three months, and I felt like I was inconveniencing the doctor just by asking questions. After two decades of loyalty, I am deeply disappointed and will be taking my care to Eye Health Northwest.

She smiles all the time and you can hear it in her voice when she answers the phone. She is just PERFECT to be the one to greet and one who answers the phone! I scratched not ONE but BOTH LENSES right in the middle of the lens. Grrr. So I figured oh well I'm just going to have to pay for new lenses. I got them in November and it's July!! Well the day I called Alexa answered bright and cheery as usual. I told her my sad story and she asked for my information so she could look up my account. Well I apparently had a TWO year warranty for scratches!!! Yeeeehaw!! So she said NO PROBLEM, we will just order the new lenses and then call you when they come in. You can swing by anytime it's convenient to get them swapped out! After about two weeks I realized that I hadn't given her my new phone number. So even IF she called she wouldn't get me! Lol. So I called and (yup Alexa again!) She said hey!!! We have your lenses!! I popped in the next day and it was just her and Shay (I apologize if I've misspelled your name!) They got right to it and Shay had a hard time cleaning my glasses as I'd put these cheap plastic pads on to keep them from sliding lol She took those off, reshaped them and I keep them on my nose and then got back to cleaning the lenses. She went back again into the room Alexa had swapped the lenses out and called Alexa in. They found a HUGE scratch on my NEW lenses!! Then as she finally got rhem cleaned and fitted, she found another on the other lens. I was not upset because what can you do right? But Shay said THIS isn't acceptable. She said try he first thing the next day she'd call the lab to expedite me a new pair of lenses. That would only have been a week tomorrow. I was VERY impressed, again with th level OF POST service/appointment care. They genuinely care and genuinely like what they do. That's clear. I'll keep going here as long as they'll see me!! Love the staff and love my glasses!! And I KNOW I'll have some new lenses soon too. Which will be checked and double checked before they call me lol

For me personally, the delivery of message and the level of care during a visit were going to be significant factors in determining how comfortable I would be transitioning into a new phase of life and those realities. Dr. Janecek was referred to me through my wife (who received a referral from a friend.) After seeing Sunset being well-regarded, I rolled the dice and called. Not only were they able to see me quickly, they were able to find a time that accommodated my schedule. At arrival, I was greeted warmly and quickly. As I was early, I waited for my appointment, which began promptly. The technician was exceptionally efficient and kind as well, and ushered me to the various rooms. Dr. Janecek won the day for me. I've used kind a couple of times, and would apply again. I'd say, however, his professionalism was outshined by his genuine approach and my perception of his caring about my care. He explained everything to me thoroughly - and not in a way that would be seen as condescending or dismissive; he took time to make sure I had my questions answered and I understood the state of my health. We discussed options, lifestyle choices that can have a longer (and healthier) impact on my vision, and plans for moving forward. He walked me to the gal who would ultimately work with me on my order. The whole experience was exceptional. A referral - backed by good feedback here - has given me a medical care provider for as long as I have eyes. Dr. Janecek is, legitimately, the real deal. I'm already in the process of referring co-workers to his office.

For years, I had a wonderful eye doctor in San Francisco and would literally fly there just to see her. When she retired, I wasn't sure I'd ever find someone I could truly trust--someone patient enough to work with my eye phobia the way she did. When I called Sunset Eye Clinic, I explained my situation, and they suggested Dr. Lee might be a good match. (Funny enough, that's my husband's last name, so I figured that was already a good sign!) They were absolutely right. Dr. Lee was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly without making me feel rushed or judged. He made what is usually a very stressful experience for me feel manageable and calm. I'm so grateful to have found an eye doctor I feel comfortable with again. He was very informative and walked me through their scheduling during the lockdown, their pricing etc. I explained that I needed contacts for work and that my glasses weren't cutting it. He immediately checked his schedule and was able to get me in the next day. I received a follow up call the next morning reminding me to bring my eyewear and any info I had on my current Rx. Upon arriving the office ladies greeted me and had me fill out my paperwork. They were very kind and welcoming. My exam with Dr. Freedle was wonderful, he explained so much about my prescription and the different benefits of contacts vs glasses. I had never gotten so much information at other offices. By the time I left I had a new prescription, contacts for the year and drops to prevent dry eye. The cost was extremely reasonable; given the care I received and products, I am very surprised at how much I paid. The pricing is less than most in the area and the service received is 5 stars. I had tried another eye clinic in Sherwood last year but they were not friendly at all so I decided to give this business a try. Dr. Roland was great. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff at the front desk were very nice as well. So happy I found this place! They are located across from Home Depot, the entrance is on the back side, and when I called to schedule, the woman who helped me did a great job giving me a heads up about it so it was a smooth experience finding them.
