They are often out of certain spray colors, and the spray is supposed to go on at least warmed up, but instead it trickles on cold. Then, you get to enjoy a cold dryer after that. Finally, this unit is barely chugging along. I've been to enough of the other Tan Republic salons to know that this is just poor attention to maintenance and an even crappier way to treat your customers! It's $50.00 a tan now, for a system that does not work the way it should.

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. She had two young girls asking her a bajillion questions while they were fully aware that people were waiting behind them. Then the computer crashed or her server went down or something, just as the place is filling up with people getting off work and wanting to tan. Then the beds shut off in the middle of sessions. And the entire time this was happening, she was alone. The fact that she not only kept her cool, but remained apologetic and kind was incredible. I've been in her shoes a million times and I know how stressed she must have been with everything falling apart around. But she did amazing. TR desk girl, if you're reading this, I'm so sorry that happened to you. You did great in a very stressful situation and you deserve the strongest drink when you get off work tonight. For anyone reading this and wondering why I'm giving this place 5 stars when it seems like nothing works... I've been coming here for a few years now and this is the first time there has ever been a problem. I've never once had issues with the beds not working, everything has always been very clean and the customer service is SO much better than any tanning salon I've ever been to before. Today was very much a one-off situation where there was clearly something wrong with their system. If you're looking for a tanning salon in Eugene area, you really should give tan republic a try.

It's like a full on spa feeling every time I go in. And when I come out, I'm always in such a better mood! Not to mention I'm tanner. If you want to tan, this is your place. I began with a one month Gold membership for $50 - tan as much as I want, and I used the red light during their happy hours (two hours after opening and all day Sunday). Just last week I opted for the $40/month Gold membership which is unlimited gold tanning and red light. I go several times a week, the red light is so relaxing. The hostesses have all been so kind, helpful and informative. After i had been to happy hour several times over two weeks, one of the hostesses recommended the gold package. So I did! I've never been to other tanning salons, but I love this location and the team spirit that I hear about. (They all took a day and went rafting for a staff outing! I love to hear it!) Much love!
