Cancelled membership in May knowing I would be billed 1 last time after cancellation. They also charged a "May" fee of $25, which was never disclosed at all when I enrolled. They sent me a copy of their contract highlighting the $25 fee, but you don't get a paper copy when you sign up. Money was not the issue but very disappointed with the deception. I normally feel like all the people that work here are really friendly and nice but I went in today and the girl w the super dark hair and glasses had a good amount of attitude. The other employeed are usuallu so sweet and nice. I used to work at a tanning salon and having an attitude about answering questions is not really the vibe. Their spray tan machine is down right now and she didn't apologize about that or anything. She said she had no idea how long it was going to be down for and told me that I could go to the north end. I asked if my membership worked there and she said it did i asked if she was sure and she rolled her eyes and and said "yuupp". Its like I get it, your a young girl who has some attitude... but its like annoying because they are the ones whose machine is down apparently indefinitely. And they are charging me monthly for a service that they aren't able to provide anymore. The least you can do is be polite. Seriously rubs me the wrong way. read more

Love the ladies that work here. However, The owner takes no accountability for broken beds and lights that need to be changed so we're paying premium prices for a service that's not holding up their standards. The best bed has been broken down for almost two weeks now and it's frustrating everyone. read more

Very knowledgeable and professional. Walked me through the steps of the spray booth and the 3 choices of tanning sprays. The spray tan was $15 and it only lasted about 5 days. If you have an event coming up and you want a little color, this is perfect for you. Yes I will go back again. read more

I'd give a Neg 10 for mgmt all the way they don't know what the price online is and over charged. Took an hour to sign up because they didn't know how to do that. I asked to put the accounts on hold being out of the area for a long time. Still charged me. First time in my for my wife couldn't find her account she had to call me at work embarrassed while the lady stood there and them when I talked to her she said oh there it is not one opps sorry my mistake. This place has ripped me off for the better part of three years. I was in Bend for 6 months about 3 years ago working. Joined through monthly membership at $80/month. I have emailed on numerous occasions and called 100 times and they refuse to cancel my membership. I have spent $3000 and haven't been there once. I have even changed my debit card 3 times and they manage to get new number everytime then back bill me for months I missed. If anyone has any idea how to stop this I would appreciate tips. I wouldn't trust any Tan Republic with my credit or debit card numbers. They are thieves. read more

Always clean and friendly customer service and can educate you on the differences between beds and products

Dirty establishment, poor product knowledge from staff, discrimination, and favoritism from staff. Staff member called the cops on me for coming in without a mask on, yet allowed a woman who came in after me (also without a mask on) to tan. I waited for an HOUR in the establishment for a cop to show up (and do nothing since mandates aren't laws and I have a religious exemption letter from my pastor). The owner then trespassed me for life for having a religious exemption. I was very kind to the employee and recorded the entire interaction on my phone which also shows the woman who came in after me without a mask on being offered tanning services. I have been managing a campaign in Florida for the past few months, but will be addressing this matter when I get back. Avoid at all costs! read more

I would say I am a regular at this location and the reason being is that I love the staff and availability. Also happy and friendly. Brooke is one my favorites. She is always so informative on beds and lotions and it always a pleasure to talk to. :) read more

I know there are some "not so good" reviews here but I have never had any issues with staff or beds. One disappointing thing I learned was the bed bulbs are not replaced on a regular schedule. When a bulb goes out, they replace just the one. The age of the bulbs can be determined by how much darkness there is on the ends of the bulbs. If you get one that has a bunch of dark bulbs, ask for a different bed. Most recently, they have been looking good. read more

After all of the hassles, It is clear to me you do not have what it takes to run a successful business in this town. were you struggling these holidays? If I have a negative balance you can just go ahead and eat that after the invoice I send you for the multiple trips I've made in this dangerous weather at $4.50/ gal gasoline and the HOURS IVe SPENT driving around on a wild goose chase (surely, that's worth something), all to not get a spray tan that YOU PROMISE under my membership/our contract. You and your girls need to get it together. I have made multiple attempts to come in to town and finish my cocktail tan which is what my membership is for, and you are unable to deliver consistently. The last three visits have been incomplete and dismissive of me and my money. I would actually like a refund for all of my hassle and trouble for not having your beds ready and sending me across town on more than one occasion to complete your end of the deal. I have been sent across town 3 times because your south branch can't fulfill our contract due to mechanical issues. On the second occurrence, I asked one of your girls to make sure it's in the notes that the other location knows I'm coming and they don't fucking do it. Not only did I find out later they didn't do it, they closed earlier than stated. Wasting my time. On the third visit, last night, now I'm pissed. How dare you attempt to charge me additional fee for MY TROUBLE under YOUR employees direction to go to the other location...AGAIN. All to find out, my membership was due that same day, and this negative balance prevented me from competing my sessions I already paid for! Did I mention,I completed the first part of my cocktail hours earlier that day?. Do you feel zero duty in fulfilling your obligation after I've already paid a membership fee for your services?!? Do you feel ZERO obligation to fulfill those services at a different location for the price I already paid?!?. You will be getting bad yelp reviews on this one, and Facebook and any Google rating anything and everything I'm making it my mission today to let everybody know just exactly how awful my experience has been . What a money pit pile of garbage. You had the chance to fix it last night, and you told Bailey to charge me for a $6 cartridge to fulfill my needs, and I already paid $30 to drive from DRW (three times) to get what I needed. Run....run fast from this place!! They are the biggest SCAM ever. I've had issues with them every single month regarding my acct (always blamed ME for it) and then charging me "late fees". Now they are trying to collect hundreds of dollars from me after my contract ended stating I never filled out the appropriate paperwork. read more

The woman who signed me up was pretty shady. A friend had told me about a deal/promotion they were running and when I asked about it I was told that it didn't exist. Turns out the deal did exist, it just didn't exist for the highest priced bed. I was only given the prices for highest bed and she conveniently left out the lower priced beds even when I asked for the lowest prices. If you go here, do your price research first - they will lie to you to get as much money from you as possible. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

They charge an arm and a leg for their spray tans. Probably at least 50% of the time the beds aren't working or they are out of formula and/or they don't have the needed supplies and they really aren't that great in the first place. I have been a customer for a long time only out of convenience. When I called the 3rd store to see if their spray was working and it wasn't, I asked what store was working. The gal working named the ONE that was working and then hung up on me. It just seems like they are irritated that people want to spray. If you can't keep the machines working or you constantly "run out of formula" and you are irritated that people want to use that service, then don't offer it! I have been referred to a new salon and will be using it instead. read more

I loved it here! I had surgery and I wanted my scar to heal up nicely so I came here and used the platinum bed for 6 months. Amazing service. Some of the friendliest people I've ever met. Not only did my scar heal up great but it made me feel happier too! read more
