Their spray tan machine is down right now and she didn't apologize about that or anything. She said she had no idea how long it was going to be down for and told me that I could go to the north end. I asked if my membership worked there and she said it did i asked if she was sure and she rolled her eyes and and said "yuupp". Its like I get it, your a young girl who has some attitude... but its like annoying because they are the ones whose machine is down apparently indefinitely. And they are charging me monthly for a service that they aren't able to provide anymore. The least you can do is be polite. Seriously rubs me the wrong way.

I have been calling corporate Tan Republic, and haven't received a call back. Twice I went in to tan and the doors were locked during business hours. When I called another store across town. They told her oh no you have to email that request to us. Never telling anyone it had to be a month in advance not just a week. Total BS. They also never responded to the email. So I had to call the shop again. I said I see you charged me for the time I asked to be put on hold I get it that happens. I run a business that has monthly billing as well. So I asked her to refund that month she said no can't do that. I asked why she said you didn't do it in time so you get charged. I then asked why didn't someone say that at any point. She said well its in your contract I told her I signed up on the phone and was never given a contract. I said you can look that up. So refund my monthly payment. she again said I won't do that because your email was not soon enough. It was over a week before the billing was due. So then the girl said she was the manager and that she had to go the paying client were more important and had to go. I signed up for a month of "platinum" which means that I get a higher quality bed and I would hate to see the condition of other beds. Although my bed was extremely clean because I personally saw the tanning specialist clean it, there were cracks in the plexi glass that cover the bulbs. Although that may not hinder the functionality of the bed itself, it does not appear to be in "proper working order" to a customer. If I were to be simply offering this rating based on my customer service experience with the tanning specialist, Angie, I would be giving this a five star review. She was exceptional! I had many questions being that I was a new customer to this location and I needed to talk to somebody who also had product knowledge. Angie did a wonderful job of explaining the process there with that establishment, packages/benefits that would be helpful to me based on my current circumstances, and offered products that would meet my needs. She was absolutely fantastic, I felt like it was a positive exchange, and left feeling well educated on what I was getting/paying for.

I went in on a Tuesday after Labor Day, they told me I was out of tans because Sunday they were closed and Monday was a holiday. They took 2 days of tanning out of my 14 days because they are closed on Sundays and then took another day because of a holiday, how is that fair? I lost 3/14 days that I paid for because of closures and holidays and was completely unaware because nobody at this establishment informed me. When I came back in I saw on their door they were having a promotion of a buy one get one and also a buy 2 get one free for the month of September. I asked the older lady who worked there if it was per session or per month that these applied to, she said back to me that it was both per session and month. I said perfect, I'll get two of the buy one get one ( meaning I'll buy one get one twice, which should end in me having 4 sessions for the price of two.) Three sessions later the same lady told me I was out of tans. ( I should've had one more considering I bought 4 for the price of 2 and had only used 3 at the time) she stated that was my last one. At this point, I've been taken advantage of and misinformed twice, I didn't argue. This was my last time at this location, and I won't be going back.
