This place is dirty! The staff unprofessional....the receptionist was cleaning his ears....no thank you

I went to Tammy's for a pedicure while we were on vacation in Rehoboth. Even though I did not have an appointment, I was taken right away. Carla did an excellent job on my pedicure. My husband and I booked a late-day appointment, to help recover from another day of unpacking. Employees were pushy and rude. We were told by a manger that no one had the time to fit us in, so we were about to leave. One of the employees insisted we stay even though no one would be able to help us out. In the end we left without getting our nails done because they couldn't give us an accurate estimation of the wait. read more

So impressed ! Being a cosmetologist myself . Primarily a nail tech and Esthetician for 7 years , my standards are not low to say the least. It's hard to find a good pedicure , that's well priced, clean, AND longer then 15 min. Your pushing it to have it include a decent foot rub too! At my work salon and spa.. our pedicures are an hour long, a great foot massage & clean. Priced higher at $47 just to give you an idea of where I'm coming from! enough about me .. I was so glad I found Tammy's on yelp. I thought oh well, we are on vacation from md, let's try and get in for a couples pedicure while we are kid free. Let me tell you... The ownership of the wife (Tammy's) husband I saw with the workers was amazing. Something my work lacks hardcore. He was kind, fair when giving Who was next on the rotation the next client coming in, polite , outgoing , checking in on his workers making sure everyone was good, helping get clients started ... No tension in the air. Never got to meet Tammy but she's blessed to have an awesome business partner/ hubby like him! Same day apt but I called ahead. I had Sonya hubby had Red . Both did a great job and ended up having time for manicures too. So I got the gel polish . It's lasted a week so far and with me working in acetone and all - that's usually about as long as I get out of it. It appeared clean, although I do like to bring my own files to places. Pretty colors inside, chairs were comfortable , girls were personable , but also didn't talk too much. This place is the best .. I doubt you will find a better place in del. I look forward to returning next time I go to parents beach house ! I'm actually gonna plan to need my nails done so I can go! I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. I didn't have an appointment and was seen right away. I got a gel french manicure and spa pedicure. Cost $65. I was very happy with my visit. The place is clean and organized. Amber was my nail technician. She did a very good job. The massage chairs are awesome! The owner Tammy was there. She is so funny and chatty. Everyone including the employees and clients seemed happy and were laughing and having a good time. I liked that the employees were very attentive and friendly, and no one was having side conversations in other languages like I've experienced at other places. I will definitely go again. read more

Never go here, yes they have a great environment but their work is horrid. I got a full set done , they aren't boxy like I asked nor are the even. My thumb nails are lumpy nor did the girl cover my whole nail with polish. Maybe it was just the girl, her name was Sonya. She was also very rough. read more

Wendy is amazing as a nail tech, she does an excellent job on fills and my nails always look very natural. I would highly recommend her and this location for all services. Amber is great with pedicures as well. As far as waxing, there is no one better than Tammy, I have to get waxed every week and no one, I mean no one pays attention and assures the hair is gone. My brother, sister-in-law and and niece came in to your salon. They came for Mani and pedis. My brother and sister-in-law had a good experience. Tamee took care of my niece and I am very disappointed in how she treated her. She chatted with other clients and coworkers and barely engaged in conversation with her.
