This is no 5 star salon. While the staff is very courteous and kind, their work is not up to par with other salons. My manicure is horrible and I was overcharged. Told me that he had OPI quick dry polish and said that I can go right out the door. Well nails were not dry so I used fans for 10 minutes. Nails were still not dry. There is no such polish as quick dry in this salon. Very disappointed. My nails are already dented and the polish looks terrible. read more

I had a gel manicure, Honey & Milk pedicure, and an eyebrow wax. Lots of natural products used in pedicure; great selection of gel colors, painless waxing; received a heated neck wrap & cold water which were treats. Cello music in background was very relaxing. Fantastic experience from start to finish! We have a second home in villages of five points so when I needed a pedi, I didn't know where to start. So I found Oanh's Nails on yelp, messaged them and within a minute, Jack responded and set up the appointment. I walked in and the salon was clean and cozy with some great zen music playing, very welcoming! My nail tech gave me the BEST foot massage and gel pedi which still looks great after over a week. I sat down and a nice lady put a weighted, scented wrap around my neck also and a pillow on my lap. So relaxing! Afterwards, Jack gave me a tube of lotion as a belayed Mother's Day gift. So sweet! Was quoted a price for a pedicure ended up being 20 some dollars more went to pay them with Zelle and wanted to put the tip on it so he could give her the $20 and he said I could do that but he would keep five of it for himself, the manager. Not worth $100 pedicure. read more

I got gel pedicure there in the morning and spent around $120. About three hours after the service, the polish chipped. Upon entry of the salon, the appearance was clean and friendly.The red flags started to go off when a lady approached us asking if we would like some popcorn and some water. Luckily, the person I went with, and myself declined both. After declining the popcorn, the lady went into the bag,with her bare hands, and started eating the product directly out of the bag...cross contamination galore. They did a lot of extras such as paraffin dip and hot stone rub, without asking if the service was wanted, and up charged me considerably for the service that was not agreed-upon. In addition, they add on a fee if you use a credit card to pay. The cherry on top is when I found out from the manager, the owner pockets apart of the tip money if you add gratuity to the Zelle amount. The owner was not even there according to the manager. Omg! I started a two month journey as in my 56 years I've never had nice nails. I walked into this nail place in the beginning of May and met Jack. Jack promised me if I stuck with him in about two months I'd have my own beautiful nails and he was so right! He made it happen and this place has the best customer service I have ever felt and seen. I've been looking for a good nail salon at the beach. I've been doing my own gel manicures since Covid and needed a "real" one. Jack and Derrick were super nice - especially Jack, what a sweet man. Right now the salon is full of autumn mums gifted to him from a neighbor he helped. My nails are shorter than I would have liked, but I've been having issues with them splitting, so it was needed. Clean salon, awesome chairs, and staff was very friendly. I will return! I am little girl ticklish, and Derrick engaged me in conversation during my pedi, which I appreciated. A week ago Monday, I received a Gel manicure. By the following Sunday, two of my nails were chipped. I called and made an appointment to repair the nails. The gentleman sitting by the window was very rude! I attempted to explain what I needed, and he proceeded to cut me off mid sentence, and he gave me selective colors to choose. I said that I wanted the same color, and his response was he did know if he can match it. I was not interested in a new color. I decided not to stay, and as I was leaving, his response was "Wow!" Walked in for a basic manicure and was charged $35. Polish was too thin and not color I chose. Also, not applied evenly so it's very sheer on some nails. If you care about your nails, your service, and your price, please choose another salon. Do not recommend. I went with my sister to try this local salon for the first time. Our manicures were quick and sloppy with little attention to filing, shaping the nails or cuticles. Polish was applied heavily and chipped for me, and dried unevenly for her. My sister had to have her toes redone due to a poor topcoat. She also observed a pedicurist reusing a towel on two different clients. Beware if your pedicurist offers scented exfoliant and lotion for a "deluxe pedicure", which will add a $25 upcharge that is not apparent. When asked about the additional charge in an attempt to reach a fair resolution, the owner became aggressive and began yelling. When asked for a price list, the receptionist attempted to hand one over, but the owner took the list from the receptionist, threw it in a drawer, and said it was an "old" price list and refused to share it. She also threatened to recoup any discounts she gave from her employee's pay, which is deeply disappointing, and clearly an attempt to intimidate into paying the upcharge. Recouping from employee pay is also illegal, which I explained to the owner. I paid a compromise amount that was generous and would not have returned based on the quality of the work alone, but the owner's behavior further justifies a "beware"! read more
