Since I didn't have a lot of music training or general incorporation past early years, I feel like this has been a pretty magical experience of professionalism, well-researched theory, practical application, and most importantly joy to my child. We've been coming for over a year now and mostly kept with it in that duration, only taking a break for a small while during holidays. The Jamisons and co. that run the place really are passionate about their work and use well-defined structure with silliness to keep the kids engaged and thinking constantly using their methodologies. Really, the value is pretty great and while it can be a bit on the pricey side for those that are on the fence. While traditionally you may only have 1 parent relegated to taking to a "feeling" kind of class, it's really welcoming (and encouraged!) for all family members that want to join. Some of that value you that isn't on the box is building a community of people walking the same steps you are. Between the developmentally appropriate learning, lots and lots of options as far as times/days/age-ranges, and generally a well-put-together program - I'd wholeheartedly recommend parents give it a try if you can afford it!

My daughter can play several songs already and she's only been in lessons a relatively short time. As a side note, Becky has her Masters in music, was a music teacher for several years and is always on time and a delight to talk to. We feel very blessed to have found such a wonderful Mrs. Kelly! When we got there, Daniel greeted us, and we did both the assessment and planning appointments ( he had us waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time for the planning appointment) with him. We later found out that it wasn't $300-$400 a month for 4 hours a week, but rather $360 a month for 12 months, covering 96 hours, and they run a hard credit check. This means she would be getting 6 months of tutoring for basically $360 bi-weekly, which felt misleading. I'd rather go to a tutoring place that doesn't do a hard credit check and is upfront with their prices. Additionally, Daniel was rude when I tried to discuss my daughter's needs; he would cut me off and talk about himself not even addressing or acknowledging what I just mentioned about my daughter.

My original review of ASREB was negative due to conflicting dates about the course expiration (see…read moreattachments) which led to the course expiring earlier than I expected ASREB quickly resolved my issue with excellent customer service. They called me the same day I raised concerns and granted a one-month extension. They also acknowledged that the conflicting expiration dates were caused by a software issue with ESRI and assured me that they are working to fix it. On top of that, they refunded the extension fee I had been charged, which I felt was unfair. Their response was professional, polite, and timely. Now that the issue and extra charges have been corrected, I'm updating my review. Other than the conflicting dates, the course itself was excellent and easy to use.

Hands down recommend them to any and all parents looking for a preschool option for their child. The only downside is for parents needing a full day of coverage. They do not have extended hours as they are not a daycare. But if you can make their hours work for you, do it!
