Bruce and his staff are terrific to deal with. I thought I needed a new fret job on my 60 year old…read moreRickenbacker. Bruce suggested that he could simply replace the "nut" which elevates the strings above the frets. Well, bingo he was right. Saved me some serious $. He and his team were a huge help when I was buying an additional guitar and amp setup. Brindleys is an honest to goodness music store! Thanks guys. - Mickey Keyes

I live super close to Brindleys, and I love supporting local! I have a professional model solid…read moresilver flute that I wanted to get overhauled, as it hasn't been played in several years. Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

Have been renting my daughter's viola from this store for the past 5 years. But today we finally…read morebought her a beautiful brand new viola that she can call her very own! And we paid 1 CENT! Not really lol but we had to be rung up in order to process the transaction and use the accumulated store credit balance to purchase the $1,000 instrument. We had an $1100 credit from renting all these years, and it finally paid off. I love that the money you are spending every month to rent can go toward purchasing an instrument one day. This was perfect because she outgrew several violas throughout the years and plus you never know if your kid is going to stick with playing the instrument. Now that she is pretty much full grown and had already committed to playing orchestra her last two years of high school, it was an awesome feeling to BUY her viola that she can love and cherish. Great customer service and we have never had any billing issues through the years. Great music store for students and young musicians. They also offer music and voice lessons. Definitely recommend!

One of them is no longer playing an instrument. The customer service is good. Sometimes they are slow if they're busy. And that's because they are giving each customer their 100% attention. I like that. They are hassle-free when it come to returns and repairs to. Since we rent, the labor for repairs is free. They will also tune your intrument for free. This is key. When one of my daughter's strings broke off her violin, all I had to do was pay the $1.50 for the string! They replaced it and tuned right on the spot. I bought my husband a keyboard from here a few years ago for Christmas. It was on sale too! Awesome deal! He was very happy with the gift. And I was happy with the price! Great place to go for instruments AND intructions too! Yelp! They offer music lessons and camps in the summer time.

The E string snapped just from tuning it, using a tuner, so I didn't over wind it. The strings were just cooked from age. They restrung the E for me, but as much as I liked the guitar of course I count really get a decent feel for the tone or depth of sound with dead strings on it. They don't have a ton of guitars there, maybe ten acoustics or so, which is why I was mystified that they hadn't kept decent strings on them. If you can't take it for a spin you're not going to really consider buying it. It's like going to a car dealership and all the cars are pretty but sitting on flat tires.
