We had no warning and it caused our kids emotional distress and to regress. We got lucky and found a stable place to take them. This place and the owner are not stable. Our twins made incredible progress within 3 months of being there seen by Sean and Autumn. The twins built a close relationship with both of them and we saw progress at home. To our disappointment both therapists quit abruptly and unexpectedly without notice. Our kids had a very hard time with this as there was no transition period, in fact it hindered and backtracked all the progress they had made. We received an e-mail from Sean that he would no longer be working there due to personal differences and not having been paid by the owner. A few days later I reached out to Autumn because I had a gut feeling something more was going on as she had cancelled her appointment with our son. She as well was leaving due to personal differences and not being paid. From what I gathered due to emails from both Occupational Therapists and the owner Barb, there was quite a bit of conflict with her business and its financial stability. She had sent out an e-mail to the client's apologizing but also displaying her personal life in an unprofessional manor, as to why she's been struggling with keeping Sprocket Therapy open. Thankfully we were able to get them into Cornerstone Pediatric Occupational Therapy in Pleasantview without a wait. As a parent you want the best for your child. To see your child struggle due to something that could have been prevented or fair warned is really frustrating.

My friend referred me to here after my niece had a speech impediment. I have family in the area, so I frequent the area often as the drive from Atlanta to Nashville isn't too big, especially if it can help the little girl. The inside of the building is extremely child friendly, and the staff are so amazing with Marie. They always greet us with a warm welcome, and Marie has been improving every visit. She was finally able to stand up and speak in her class presentation without crying, and she finished with a big smile on her face! I have gotten to know the staff very well through our multiple visits, and I cannot explain how much passion they have towards their practice and how much they enjoy helping children through their struggles. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a child that has any difficulty with speech anxiety or speaking disorders regardless of language because they will be taken care of by these great people.
