Thanks for having us schedule, show up and have my poor daughter sit there with a broken arm as your inept staff did a piss poor job. While there, it was my privilege to be under the prompt, compassionate, and attentive care of some hard working folks. My stay lasted for 3 full weeks and every day I was impressed with the warm and friendly people that are employed there and the quality of friendly helpful care I received. The backbone of such a facility is of course the Nurse Techs. Every Nurse Tech that cared for me was without a doubt exceptional in professionalism and compassion. Always responsive to my needs and in good response times as well, makes the Nurse Techs at the Gallatin Center a cut above most other nursing facilities in my book. The Nurses also displayed prompt patient care, timely dispensing of medications, and a willingness to jump in and help with any other patient issues or concerns. During my 3 week stay, I was able to observe the attitudes and patient involvements of many of the staff and employees of GCR. I'm happy and proud to report the stellar patient care and attention was above and beyond the call of duty in every area I witnessed. Some of the staff members are sometimes short tempered probably as a result of not having enough help. The cleaning crew often doesn't show up and clean the patients rooms. Even when they do straighten the rooms, they usually don't sweep and mop the floors. Rooms look like they need to be painted. The inside of this beautiful facility looks like it has been neglected and let go. It's unfortunate that it is in this kind of shape. Most of the residences here are long-term and I feel bad for them. Unfortunately, the staff is overworked and apparently under appreciated. Otherwise Gallatin Center probably would not be understaffed. I personally think that the staff here probably needs a raise for how understaffed and overworked they are. Thanks again, Karen Harrison

Rehab Without Walls is a very special place that has my respect and appreciation. Following a…read morestroke and 10 stay I chose RWWs for secondary, longer term rehabilitation. WOW, what a blessing and great choice. They are true professionals and know what's needed to turn around. Very compassionate and positive. When I walked in for the 1st time it was with a walker and steps were tiring to difficult. The Physical Therapists worked with me and pointed out what I needed. Great homework within my comfort zone. A few months later I walked out on my own with strength and stability. I can even walk fast with no worry. Special shoutout to Mike, Rachel, Ericka, Ellie as my physical therapists, they're the best. My stroke effected my right side meaning I couldn't my a fist, pickup anything or use my right arm. The Occupational Therapists took charge and loosened up my arm and hand. They showed continued compassion and encouragement. At the end of the my therapy I could shower, shave, wash my hair, prepare meals, drive, and other everyday tasks. What a caring team! My expert team consisted of Anne, Autumn, Lavanya, Hanna and Emile. RWWs has my full respect, endorsement and recommendation not to mention appreciation!

Lindsay is seriously the best! We saw so much progress in the 3 months we had the privilege of…read moreworking with her. Our sweet little 3 yr old girl was diagnosed with autism a year ago. She is non verbal and had been receiving speech therapy thru TEIS. But we wanted to hire outside help to really focus on her communication so we could make sure her needs and wants we're being met. I am so grateful we found Lindsay. Our daughter took to her right away as Lindsay is so kind and has such a good heart. But she also knows her stuff. She was really able to meet our daughter where she was and help her progress and find ways to communicate even without words. I was heartbroken when our schedules no longer worked for us to continue working with Lindsay. But as soon as we can work out scheduling I will be working with her again! She is truly phenomenal and goes above and beyond.
