I have had nerve block and spinal ablations done at several spine and joint places, from Va Beach, to East Tn to middle tn. I have never had these procedures done without any type of medication till I saw him. Then they call me my urine shows I have done meth. I was in shock. Because of my back issues and Rheumatoid Arthritis I'm basically bed ridden. So I pay full price no insurance out of pocket to talk to him. My concern is this is in my permanent medical records for any dr to see. All he could say is we will put you on suboxin. I look this drug up and it is used to help drug addicts to get off drugs. Every office person every nurse and him that is all they are saying get on suboxen. Made no sense. I ask him if I get a hair strand test done proving I'm not on drugs could treatment go on as it was. He agrees. I again pay out of pocket to have a hair strand test done and immediately when they get results to fax them to him. Of course it came back negative and faxed to them. Now his office won't call me back. Unless you want suboxen or you need real help with your spin DO NOT go here.

On my last appointment, the NP was unprofessional, disrespectable, and just plane rude. He demanded that I get a new MRI and has done so for over 8 months now. I have given the office many previous MRIs and the most current one was only 3 yrs ago. My pain level is the same and I didn't feel a need to hurry with the updated MRI and the co-pay is way too high for me right now. I ask to get another RFA after 6 months and scheduled at the front office prior to leaving that day. A few hours later, I received a call from the office stating that the NP (Tom) was not going to approve my next RFA until I got another MRI. So, instead of telling me himself at my appt., he chose to have another person do the dirty dead for him. Needless to say, I was distraught over the news because I was looking forward to getting additional relief prior to going out of town. I cried and was emotionally upset for days because of the way this was handled. He actually gave me an ultimatum to have one done or no RFA. This was appalling and disturbing to me. Now, with that said, after careful consideration, I have contacted them and ask to be released from their care and go back to Pain Management Group in Nashville. Do know, I've never had any issues with PMG over the 10 yrs going to them. They are awesome and I cannot wait for my next appt with them. Also, Dr. Homolya of Integrity Pain is one of the best surgeons I have ever met and he will be missed, but I have no choice but to break all ties with this clinic.
